Disney Dream - June 9, 2013 - 4 night

45 minutes from WDW! Just passed a minivan from Missouri with the words "Dream Vacation" and a drawing of a cruise ship. But they didn't put the name of the cruise ship!

We are at Universal right now and we were cold and wet all day...yuck! There were tornado warningS and watches this morning. should be better tomorrow. Hopefully...

Woooo Hoooo! Leaving in a.m. Been a helluva week. We had a terrible tragedy here this week. Four firefighters sacrificed their life in a fire. As the hubby is a firefighter, been a week of Praise the Lord my husband was home that day for us and sorrow for their loss. Lotsa end of school and work. Now I am doing what every Disney princess should, having a glass of wine and making sure everything is packed. WE leave at the but crack of dawn to drive to Port Canaveral to meet my parents for the cruise. So looking forward to meeting y'all and sharing our gifts!

My husband is a firefighter too. I understand where you are coming from. Prayers go out to the Houston Fire Department. We both work closely with the MO Firefighters Funeral Team here in St. Louis and it's hard.

The night before we got married there were two firefighters that were killed and made it a very emotional day.

Anyway back to our vacation...We have been here at WDW since Tuesday and today we are unpacking the sunscreen and putting the umbrellas away!! I see blue sky! I just might come back to the room later today with dry undies and shoes.

We are on the road to south Alabama now and will leave there tomorrow to head to the port. If any of you are traveling I 65 through Alabama and have never been to Peach Park you should try it out. They have fresh homemade ice team that is out of this world yummy. It is at exit 205 in Clanton. See you all Sunday.

I really screwed up. We were doing last minute Fish Extender gift assembly today and I noticed that I put the wrong room number on our gift tags. So I looked back at the Fish Extender roster from this thread, and I put the wrong stinking room number down for my crew. Whether it was a typo or a brain freeze, I don't know. The Sumrall Crew is in room number 9506, NOT 9606 as listed. Sorry for the confusion. Hopefully a few of you will get this message.

We do a beach bag with swim Suits (and beer) for carry on. Don't get carried away with big because you will have to carry it everywhere until they let us into our cabins.

Well see I was an idiot and didn't pack everything in suitcases because we drove. I have open bags with no zippers on some. I hope there isn't a weight limit on the checked bags.

Our check in time is 11a. The guy here at the Country Inn & Suites says I don't need to get there then. He says wait till after lunch. What time do you go? Is it like the airport where you want to be early?
