Been out of touch for weeks now, but back in the game! On plane from Seattle now, so everything has to come together this weekend. Nothing is packed. Nothing is planned except what RunnerMom0 has done for me. Hope we have clothes! Dadandson stop watching the weather! The power of positive thinking! There are enough of us to make it work . Look forward to meeting everyone next week!

YEAH! Fish extender done. Pirate costumes made. FE's all bagged up. T-shirts made. Time to pack!

I guess I mean that I really do not know how to wrap them to place in the fish extender if that makes sense haha.

I was able to pack up all the FE's and get them in a bag. I do just want to warn you that I may just be leaving them all in your gift bag and leaving it at the door / FE. You will understand it when you get it. I also have my sisters gifts in the same thing.

I started laying out clothes / outfits yesterday and realized that I cannot find my daughters dress for pirate night. We moved last weekend and it's somewhere but it's not showing up. I desperately contacted the lady on Etsy and she rocks! She shipped me a new one today!! I know as soon as the new one gets here, the other one will show up. That's the story of my life.

For those of you that have done the pillowcase thing, did you put something in between it so they don't bleed, or do they do that?? Kind of sounds like common sense to me that they would do it. Or should I just say screw the pillowcase and go with the mat?

And back to the packing...

Everything that I have read say to pack then take 50% of the clothes out. I find that hard to do. I feel like I need two outfits per day since you need to be a little "dressier" for dinner. And same with shoes - flip flops, Keens, and tennis shoes (although I may leave those in the car) and then I need a "nice sandal". I know my girls will be wearing their Keens with their sundresses, but then they need their swim shoes too.

I ordered my daughter's pirate costume from Etsy as well. I wonder if it was the same one. The lady was really fast. I made the rest of the families and now she wants me to make hers and I told her to bad. I gave her that option several months ago and she wanted the one she saw. See you all soon!

Gift or pack? Gifting we spread throughout the cruise. My kids liked sneaking around the ship early in the day or around dinner to put out gifts. Packing - the FE goes in carry on and we put FE gifts into our checked bag. (With exception of lanyards for you all).

They don't have to be wrapped, but it might be easier for you to label them with cabin numbers and who it's from if you want. I have past items that were signed by the families and where they were from. Some people just plunked the items into the FE, some in ziplock bags and some in
Other packaging.

We are officially packing on Tuesday this week, though, we've been gathering all related things together. I just put all our FE's and items like sunblock, meds, toiletries, etc, and my 25' suitcase is almost already full. I'm wondering how in the world my fiancé (soon to be wife on June 7) and I are going to be able to pack everything, especially with us going to WDW after the cruise for 7 days. Probably will try and wash all our clothes on the cruise early in the morning for the day at sea.

On a wedding note, Jennifer & I (Austin) are finishing up many last minute details and planning and are getting ready to host company all coming into town. We're so excited though, and are looking forward to meeting you all on the DREAM.

FYI... I buy those individual laundry detergent packs by 7th Generation for laundry and take a stain stick with us. But, you don't have kids yet and probably won't need them! Congrats and see you soon.

I usually don't mind packing but for some reason I am just really not into it. I think it's because our house is a mess and will still be a mess when we get home. We are leaving Monday morning and I started packing today. I do have the outfits that are only for the Cruise in a separate bag, our swim bag is on it's own, over night tote for Monday night, but help me out here for the carry on stuff for the cruise....

Are people just wheeling their luggage all around with them till the rooms are ready?

We can't get to our rooms till after the drill, correct?

I know that I am going to have our swim bag (actually the girls and I are going to wear our suits under our clothes), but what all do you put your alcohol in? Can I use a 31 soft sided cooler inside a suitcase?? Or do I just put it in the carry on with no cooler? I say we will use the cooler when we go to Castaway Cay, Chris says we won't. I also will have coffee creamer that needs to remain cold.

I am planning on carrying on our FE gifts, door decos, etc, can I go find my room and put the stuff on the door?
