Belle and Simba - Here are the navigators!

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2733804

Enjoy!

:cool1: It's beginning to feel more and more real!

I brought my FE project- at least what I've done done so far- to show my mom (she's been in hospital and now rehab) and she thought they came out great so hopefully people will like them! :) They're nothing spectacular, but I wanted to try to do something creative-like as part of my FE.

Sad week here overall since the little black kitten whose photo I recently posted seems to be sick; vet thinks it is FIP which cannot be cured. :(

It does feel real now!! Sorry to hear about your kitty. Hope your mom heals quickly.

Our nice weather today is making me hope for two pretty days at Castaway Cay this summer! I love that it's never too hot there.

Well, I have decided not to participate in the FE this trip, as I don't know how I could manage to bring anything extra. I'm already a bit nervous about packing for a week at Disney World, plus the cruise, and then another night afterwards. Makes me wonder what I was thinking! Probably one of those adventures that sounded good while I was putting it together. Guess I'll just be doing some laundry somewhere along the way. ;)

I am hoping the transfer bus from Disney World will get there in time for me to meet you all at the gathering, though. Have fun getting ready!

And, oh Mackie, trips to NYC with high school kids help me to totally understand the relief of getting the kiddos all back home safely!

I would just do some launddry either at WDW or on the cruise. I did laundry on the ship right before we left for breakfast and the laundry rooms werent packed. It was nice getting those dirty clothes out of the room and putting them away clean!

Rob...Colin and I are working on making YOUR FE gift extra-special ;)

DisnyJenn, great to see you back here!

Just returned last night from my three days away with the 7th graders...what an experience! (I say that every year...) It was a nice break from the usual routine, but I'm glad to be home and away from all those adolescents for a bit. You know they're getting homesick, too, when you come by to tell them it's lights out at the hotel and they respond "I love you!" after you tell them good night :P (I have some great students that I connect with pretty well, but that's a new one for me!)

Two months and counting...WHOO! We stopped by a Six Flags on our way back from the trip and I caught the Pirate of the Caribbean theme playing in the park. On top of noting the fact that this place was clearly NOT Disney World, I found myself wishing it were pirate night already...

That is sooo sweet that they told you that they love you. My kids are also known for loving their teachers

Thanks for the link. It was sooo exciting looking at the navigators! yay

We added on a day at Mk and to stay at Coronado Springs after the cruise. We are so excited! The girls start school August 15th, so we figured we should head back on the 12th. Then we changed our minds and added on ONE MORE DAY!!!

We will just have to be super organized and have everything ready for school
so when we return then can just sleep for a day and a half and recoop.

We finally got our airfare-1081.00, better than 1 month ago (1380).:thumbsup2

Just finished looking through the navigators for the DD-- WOW there is alot to do! :woohoo: Getting my creative brain in gear for the FE. Getting closer to the trip everyday!!

teach - no worries and no pressure to participate in the FE! Looking forward to still seeing you on board at our meetup :)

Belle...so sorry to hear about your kitten. Mac is sending good vibes that everything turns out OK...

FYI, since I have been getting a few more requests over the past few weeks - we decided a while back that July 5 (conveniently my birthday, so I wouldn't forget the date!) will be the last day to decide if you want in on the FE exchange. That way all of us will have about a month to finalize gifts and to know how many gifts to put together.

I'm not doing my FEs until school's out.....1.5 weeks to go.......:cloud9:

Best Wishes!!!:thumbsup2 WOW...you are a Teacher, too? We have a lot of Teachers on our cruise! I have a lot of repect for Teachers-I know I couldn't do it. I am sure you will do fine. Think of it as another adventure.

jla...give me another week. Massive budget cuts = lots of transfers for teachers. I keep saying - only half-jokingly - that I'm gearing up for kindergarten next year. My worst nightmare...five years of fifth and sixth graders has left me clueless as to what goes on over at the elementary schools..

I am, of course, warding all this off with retail therapy. If any of you are familiar with Lilly Pulitzer, their world headquarters are located in my town and they have a huge blowout warehouse sale every year. Their stuff is usually prohibitively expensive...we are talking $70 for a polo shirt, $300 for a sundress. The warehouse sale means up to 75% off, sometimes even more. And, well, if you know anything about their brand you know that it's a must-have for cruising... ;)

Helloooo semi-formal night! http://pinterest.com/pin/3273710/

I may have also snagged this dress... http://www.lillypulitzer.com/view-all/bowen-dress-embroidered-sateen/invt/93456/ ... and a bathing suit... http://www.lillypulitzer.com/keene-bandeau/invt/81536/&bklist=icat,4,shop,sportswear,womensswim

(I am the master of "...but it was on sale!". My husband has clearly given up on pestering me...)

Nice! I wish I lived there, I'm obsessed with Lilly! I just bought a great bathingsuit yesterday at Marshalls. Great price but not 75% savings--I'm jealous. Those dresses are super cute!

kk - living where I do, I think I just take the proliferation of Lilly around here for granted. I learned last year that women fly into town and stay overnight just to have at the first pick of sale merchandise every year! We are talking camping out outside a convention center overnight to be there for the 5 AM opening of the sale. I also cracked up at a poster this year advertising that everyone who spent over $1000 at the sale would be entered into a drawing, the grand prize of which is to be the first person to enter next year's sale. This seems outrageous until you see the women with armful and armfuls of merchandise in their hands checking out...CRAZY. I wonder how much of it ends up on ebay...

I just pop in at some point on the first day, make a killing, lie about how much I spent to the husband, and be done with it :P So, uh, if you ever feel like driving down this way from Boston... ;)

Totally new subject but just realized that the Phineas and Ferb movie is being realeased August 5. I wonder if it will be playing during our cruise! My daughter would flip!!!

I've been too intimidated to look at their stuff... but... err... did someone mention a massive sale nearby? *ears perking up* I'm probably too late though.

My nieces would love that! *googles* Darn, this link says it will premier on the DCL on 8/18... :P http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118038162

I've been buying lots of little things for my cameras. And working on my FE. And trying to figure out ground transportation.

But good news- I got a discount at GF for my last night post-cruise now that they released new discounts recently!

It runs through Saturday, Belle! I may have already been roped by a friend into heading back there tomorrow evening...if you want to try to say a pre-cruise howdy let me know ;)

I'm jealous-no good shopping here in Kansas. Just another round of tornado warnings tonight. No tornado at our house. Just lots of wind from every direction, quarter sized hail and 3" of rain.

Oooh tempting! I just have too much going on right now... *sigh* Buy yourself something extra in my honor. ;)

Ok I just bought a new camera for the trip. I bought a Nikon S9100. This is my first Nikon, I only had Canon's before so this is all new to me. I just needed a point and shoot so I wouldn't have to lug my Canon DSLR around.

Now I just need to start on those FE gifts...:goodvibes

Where in Kansas do you live? I lived in north central Kansas until I got married and moved to Kansas City.
