DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

DH is a Sherlock Holmes Fan. Has all the books and a lot of the movies. He's read all the Harry Potter books and stood in line at midnight to get a few of them.

We both are into Criminal Minds & the CSI shows.

You say you are shy. He is very shy. Me a little less, since I had to come out of my shell to work as a hairdresser. If the 2 of you can get over your shyness enough, it looks like you might have some common interests to talk about.:goodvibes

It does sound like we may have something to talk about. I am a HUGE CM/CSI fan. The only CSI I can't stand is Miami. I hate David Caruso.

I too also stood in while at midnight for a few of the books (hate to admit that...):scared1:

So looking forward to this cruise.....

Is anyone else getting antsy / impatient / frustrated that it's still 2010 and NOT the year of our cruise (although we do inch closer by the day)?? :confused3 I'm becoming obsessed and each little tidbit about the Dream has me watering at the mouth lately! Like the min-golf course ont he sports deck & Remys...
I can't wait for those first cruise reports from it's maiden voyage in Jan'11 and of course for actual PICTURES from fellow DIS'ers!!!!!

Such a great bunch of folks.

OK so here I am at work again with nothing to do (by choice- I'm just not in the mood right now) and I'm thinking of all the things I *hope* the Dream has that we haven't heard about yet.
I can't wait for those first trip reports to come out with people posting pictures. So I was thinking, to pass the time (not that it will pass much, but anything helps at this point) what are your Dreams for the Dream? Anything you hope to see that might be a secret?

Here are my two:
  • Virtual portholes other places on the ship other than the inside cabins so some of us can experience what they are like (I can just see myself knocking on someone's door saying "can I show my kid your porthole and sit here for a while to see if anyone cool pops up?")
  • Some sort of advanced photo capability like photo pass that currently exists in the park. I know you can now buy a CD that uses facial recognition, but it would be cool if they built the ship with this in mind, and some kiosks around where you can stop and look at your pics now and then!

DD and I are booked on Deck 7 in one of the virtual porthole rooms..You are more than welcome too come in and take a look. I can not wait too see them. I am excited too hear reviews about those rooms and I saw a lounge that changed images of different cities like Paris while you are sitting in there. Looks awesome....:thumbsup2
My DD is excited about the teen spa treatments. She will be 13 when we go and has already planned too save her Birthday and Christmas money for a massage and mani/pedi...I said go for it!!:goodvibes I am planning a cabana massage for one of our Castaway Cay days...It has always been my dream.:goodvibes

I just booked our SW airfare for our December trip. I got $96 one way, but the way home is still high...Will wait for a sale. The most important part is booked..The one too Disney!!:rolleyes1
We were orginally going on a just little Holiday trip Dec 8th-Dec 11th for my nieces Birthday...Well it is cheaper too fly on Tuesday so I booked us Tuesday night and I called Disney too add a room at the All stars for the that evening with my White rabbit email code I got. She was able too offer me a special that had just popped up on her screen for a $58 in a preffered room at All star sports... I said book it...... We won't get in till 10pm so we just need a place too sleep then in the morning we will move over too the Poly. Still this gives us a full day on Wednesday with rest...I hate running around too much on travel days cause we have too be up at 4:00 am too head too th airport. So this is going too be great!! Can you tell I am excited!!!:yay:

Ok folks...just checking in....

Stoping by to say high sorry that it has been awhile since I visted last. Welcome to all who are new since I posted last. I see we have a kid tread will get the kids on that soon.
I want to try and get cruise paid off first, so I dont set them up for a Dream that never came true. Paying off this cruise should be my number mission, but part of me is hoping that 2012 prices a cruise choices are better. So we can get more bang for our buck. But all the kids wants to go now so we will see how this all unfolds. My current goal is to have cruise paid off by Feb 1 2011.

I know what you mean...I had been paying faithfully every month till Summer hit and we spend too much money in the Summer....:scared1: So I really need too buckle down and start paying more on this cruise. I would also like it paid off by February.

My DH won't be able too go with us because of work , but my best friend and her kids are going. So her and I want too book Palo and maybe try Remi's one night.

I just booked a Wishes Dessert party for our December trip...So excited too see the castle lights.:cool1::santa:

That is my problem...I need too quit booking Disney trips and I might get my Dream cruise paid for.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It is all good...........................:cloud9:

Hi! When are you going in Dec to WDW? We'll be there 12/5-12. Dessert party-- I don't need the calories but I would like to check it out. If I may ask- what date are you going to the dessert party? I need to start planning for that vacation, and we were lucky enough to book a cruise 9/3010 for our anniv on the Wonder and that has been taking up me WDW planning...:rotfl::rotfl:

Well, we won't be sailing with you. I couldn't get off Memorial Day. So we are now on the June 12. Hoe y'all have fun!

It's depressing to think that I could conceive, go to full term, give birth and still have a few weeks left over to pack before this cruise! (not that I will or am even willing to consider that but it WOULD pass the time!) :lmao:
