Sorry. I do want to participate. I've been doing WDW planning for a trip in December.

Our last cruise group did this and it was fun finding out about everyone.

1. Where do you live?
Lawrenceville, GA (outside of Atlanta) We are transplants from NY & Boston though.
2. Are you married? How long?
11 years. We renewed our vows last year on the Magic.

3. Do you have any children? Ages? Will they be cruising with you?
DS - 10 and DD - 7 (at time of sailing) and yes they will be cruising with us.
4. Do you have any pets?
Just some fish.
5. What do you do for a living? Work? Stay at home?
Software Developer
6. Did you always want to be a XXX? (your profession)
It was always my hobby but now my 2nd profession. My first profession is being a good mom.
7. What is your favorite movie?
I don't think I have a favorite. I just love romantic comedies & alternate world type movies (i.e. Harry Potter, twilight, matrix)
8. What is your favorite book?
I don't have a favorite. But I like the vampire/mystery genre currently.
9. What is/are your favorite TV show(s)?
True Blood
10. What are your favorite foods?
chocolate! and seafood! it's really expensive to get seafood in ga though.
11. Any particular cuisines or dishes that you like the most?
sushi
12. What type of music do you listen to? Do you have a favorite group/singer/band etc.?
hmm. let's see, i call it 80's pop alternative which is depeche mode & erasure.
13. Where did you go to school/college?
Boston University
14. Do you like sports? What's your favorite football team?
I like watching college BB. But I'm totally uncoordinated to play it.
15. How many siblings do you have?
1 sister - who i just can't convince them into the disney bug
16. What do you like to do in your spare time?
Disboards! and Digital Scrapbooking

17. Any interesting places that you've traveled to lately?
Seriously, we're disney nuts. That's all my family (my whole family, DH included), only want to go to Disney. We try other places and the whole time we only wish we were at Disney instead. So the most interesting was our last visit in May for a non-Disney trip to Orlando, where we only spent one day at MK, the rest of time was Discovery Cove, Sea World, Universal and IOA.
18. What is your attitude when it comes to money? Are you a spender or a saver?
We save so that we can go to Disney. Where we spend...

19. When is your birthday?
November 14, 1970 (big 40 this year)
20. What are your preferences when it comes to clothes and fashion?
i'm a black clothes type of person at work. And disney outside of work. Kinda silly, but at times my whole family is wearing something "Disney" on the weekends.
23. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Introvert
21. Are you an outdoors person?
Nope. Definitely not. I kinda cringe everytime my DH talks about doing Fort Wilderness. And I know that's really not camping.
22. Are you an adventurous person by nature or do you prefer playing it safe?
adventurous to everything except physical things (like hiking, camping, jet skiing..)
23. What was your childhood like?
Hmm. Still talking to a therapist about this one.
24. How many Disney (or other cruises) have you been on?
Just one.
25. How often have you been to Walt Disney World?
about 20 times since I've been with my DH, and probably a dozen times before him.

Sounds like your immediate family (grown Kids go when they can afford to tag along) is like mine as far as going to Disney and all things related, right down to the Disney wardrobe outside of work. My extended family either doesn't want to go or has a "been there, done that, over it" attitude. But that's OK. I wouldn't want to do what they want to do either.

December is a great time to go to WDW. The Osborne lights at DHS are spectacular. We saw them last year twice. Once before our cruise & once after. We took the auto-train home and it was cheaper to go Sunday, so we had an extra day at WDW!
If you haven't been over the Christmas season, you shoud try to get to all the Deluxe hotels to check out their decorations. All the parks are decorated, too. Are you going to MVMCP? We didn't get to that although we have been to MNSSHP twice.

Speaking of, who's dressing up for the pirate party? They are keeping the pirate party on the Dream I hope. My DS didn't want to dress up last year. And my DD wanted to be a princess not a pirate. Well, my DH and I had fun at least!

We are thinking of doing WDW before the cruise. How about you guys? Where are you staying the night before the cruise?

well seeing how we live right down the street from the port (kinda) lol we will prolly stay at home.

We are back from our RV trip out west. Had a ball and saw so much. Weather was spectacular! Got back too St.Louis and it is hot and humid...107 heat index today!! I want too go back too Colorado!

We too are planning a short getaway in December with my Mom and Niece. I thought about MVMCP, but it is such an added expense and last time we went it was just packed...So I was thinking of surprising everyone with a Wishes Dessert party this trip. We are going too MK on Wed Dec 8th and that is a non party night. So it would be a good way too avoid the crowds and take in the castle lights... I called too book and it will be $110 for the 4 of us??? Do you guys think it is worth it? It is my nieces 19th Birthday we are celebrating.

I do love MNSSHP the best...We are going too F&W too with a friend from work and her daughter...We plan too attend the Halloween party for sure! So much fun! Love the headless horseman and the parade is awesome!

Looks like our group is really building....Soon Summer will be over and then things get crazy...School,Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and then boom it will be here..................... We will most likely all dress for the Pirate party~~~~ Love it!

I went July 3rd, 2009 to the Wishes Dessert Party. (This was like the month that they first started this. It was awesome. The rest of MK was completely packed with people who were there to see the 4th of july fireworks. But we were separated in the Terrace with awesome desserts (well about the same or a less that awesome when compared to DCL desserts maybe) and drinks (non alcholic), no having to save a space to watch, we were assigned a table under the eaves. Then when the fireworks started we went to the edge - but still not crowded. There was even a photographer there to take pictures of us (don't know if they still do that). We were also able to see Spectromagic from there too. We had a very special time.

However, for December 8th the parks are probably not going to be terribly crowded. So if it was to avoid that, maybe not. But if for something special, with desserts and such. Definitely fun and different than the usual waiting on main street for the parade and fireworks.

Hi, everyone! We will be changing our current May 2011 EBTA cruise to this one tomorrow. Think we've finally settled on connecting cat 4B's. It'll be our 2nd DCL (did a Western on the Magic in 2009), and my parent's 1st. Cast is: Me, DH, our BBG triplets who will turning 11 a week after the cruise, and my parents. Can't wait! And we live in the Atlanta area as well (Alpharetta address but we are actually in South Forsth Co)!

We're going 12/18 - 12/27 at CSR. I know it'll be crazy from 12/25 to 12/27. But oh well. It's a great time to be in the world. It's always great to see a child's face on their first visit. It's that expression that just makes it all worth it.

Just found out my dad booked the cruise!! I knew he had been looking but I just found out!!! He meant it to be a suprise and didn't realize that i knew my CC number!!! So when i looked today on upcomming cruises it said DISNEY DREAM!!!!!! YAY I cant wait!!!!! were in 8652 and it will be Me(16), DF, and DM!! CANT WAIT!!!!!!!

DH is a Sherlock Holmes Fan. Has all the books and a lot of the movies. He's read all the Harry Potter books and stood in line at midnight to get a few of them.

We both are into Criminal Minds & the CSI shows.
