Disney done differently, (BOG dining updates pages 202 and 203)

Wish him Good Luck from me! hope his schedule doesn't get to crazy! wil give you a call later so we can plan our carriage ride!

Thanks! Sorry I wasn't much help about days and times for a carriage ride. We both seemed to gravitate towards Sunday, so I'd go with that!

Good luck on the new job!!!

I gotta look at the map again for Epcot, I know off the top of my head that I haven't done capt eo, of course France. I haven't seen the movie in Canada in a very long time either. Come to think of it, that movie in the land, the Circle of Life, haven't seen that either. I think that's it for epcot. I've done everything at MK, and the only thing at AK is the Flights of Wonder. Anything you haven't done that you want to accomplish???

Thanks! I think he is a bit nervous. He isn't one to like change. Sounds familiar, huh? Like father, like son.

I think I've done everything at Epcot except the pearl at Japan.

At AK, I'd like to try those jalopeno pretzle bites, it's been years since I saw the Flights of Wonder show,

I have never done Stitch's Great Escape, but I have no plans to do it either. I haven't seen the new HM stuff yet. Every time we've been there where we could, the attraction was closed. When we could go, Anakin cried because he was scared and we didn't even get into the line. Anakin has never been to Tom Sawyer Island. I would like to take him once it cools down.

I have never seen the last showing of American Idol for the day. Haven't seen the stunt show since McQueen makes his debut. Is Herbie still there? Haven't seen the new Disney Junior show. Haven't done the new Pooh M&G.

Good luck on the new job, Goofy. :thumbsup2

Thanks!

Got Mickey Mail today, Passport to A World of Flavors.

Reservations open Aug 16th at 7am. We aren't signing up for anything, though there are a couple things that sound very interesting to me.

My husband and I are not drinkers. But once a year we try the ice wine at Canada's booth. Last year, we decided to be adventurous and try a mojito. I'm glad we only got one, because neither of us liked it and ended up throwing it away. I don't think we ever did that to any of the food samples.

I'm looking forward to:

Shrimp on the barbie at Austrailia.

Seared Mahi mahi with steamed rice, hearts of palm and coconut-lime sauce at Brazil.

Grilled Beef Skewer with Chimichurri sauce and boniato puree at Argentina.

Flan at Mexico.

Seared Filet of Beef with Smashed Sweet Potatoes and Braai Sauce at South Africa.

Apple Strudel Featuring Werther's original Karamel Sauce and Vanilla Sauce at Germany.

Kielbasa and Potato Pierogie with caramelized onions and sour cream at Poland.

Linda Bean's Lobster Claw Cuddler with Drawn Butter and Pumpkin Mousse with Ocean Spray Cranberries and orange sauce at Hops and Barley.

I have no idea what it is, but shrimp cake on a sugarcane skewer sounds interesting at Singapore.

Seared Sea Scallop with Kumara-Red Curry Puree and apple radish salad at New Zealand.

Kefta Pocket at Morocco.

Belgium Waffle with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream at Belgium.

Escargots Persillade en Brioche!!! Yum, one of our favorites!! at France.

Lobster and Scallop Fisherman's Pie at Ireland.

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup at Canada. Disappointed the salmon isn't maple glazed like previous years!

Greek salad with pita bread; chicken souvlaki with tzatziki at Greece.

Kalua Pork Slider with sweet and sour dole pineapple chutney and spicy mayonnaise.

I will miss the pulled pork sandwich and the crab cakes with roumalaud sauce and the Etouffee of past years. Didn't see that make the cut this year.

That all sounds good!!! The new HM que is pretty neat. They changed a little in the ride itself too, at the end with the ghosts. Tyler LOVES Tom Sawyer Island, I can't hardly handle it, cause it's hills and stairs, and the terrain isn't level at all. You're not missing much with Stitch, the shoulder harnesses hurt me really bad, so I don't do that one. Tyler doesn't like the burp breath, so he doesn't do it either.

I'm not a big one for the mojitos either. The margaritas in mexico are AWESOME!! Gotta go inside tho, not outside, even tho the frozen ones outside are good too. Just not as strong.

We should both come up with lists of things we wanna do, and make dates with the kids to go do it. Now that school is in tho, you may just get me lots of times :) Sept 12th Tyler has a day off school....besides Labor day, it's a monday. Just a thought!! :)

I don't want stronger, lol. It would go straight to my head all the faster! I'm too type A and can't stand not feeling in control. I was always the designated driver in college.

We can visit Mexico for you and I'll be just as happy with a stop at club cool for the China watermellon soda.

Anakin's swim lessons stop Sept 1. After that we are available in between homeschooling!

I got it in the mail ;) I think I got it because I have a Tables in Wonderland card. It gets me 20% off food and beverage at select Disney locations! Though not at the F&W festival booths, or most counter service. I do get 20% off at POFQ's food court though.

As for the carriage ride, I also assume we need to tip too? I'll put the cash away now for Oct, so I don't forget. As long as it's not lightning, I'm fine with rain. And you heard how excited Anakin would be to go for a carriage ride!

Hey Tink....made our ressies for the carriage ride!!

Sunday 10/16 at 7:00pm

Sounds great!

Did you know the 16th is a F! night? We aren't planning on going at all, but it is at 7:30 if you were thinking of F!

You know what I haven't even looked at the park hours, activities yet :scared1: I told you I hadn't done any planning, guess I'd better start getting a loose schedule put together though :lmao: so we don't miss anything we do want to see!

I sat down and compared TP with EasyWDW. There were a couple discrepancies. When that happens, I go with EasyWDW. Less people seem to have caught on to that one than TP. Seems like alot of people use TP, making the best parks not always the best now.

I made new ADRS last night while Anakin watched a tv show.

I went on last night and got hours, etc....we can see F! on the 20th so we won't miss it! will have to make sure we plan for certain days for wishes too since I didn't get park hoppers this trip! but other than that we will be wining it!

Oh good! It's been years since we saw Wishes. Still haven't seen the electrical parade since it replaced Spectro again. But I did catch a glimpse of the castle show one night.

you have to try to see wishes and ELP this time! ELP was the first disney parade I saw in 1975 at DLR so has lots of sentimental memories for me! Love it!!!

Sweet!!

We saw it years ago when it was at WDW, but not since then. Anakin doesn't do well with flickering lights. It's been over a year since we've actually watched an entire fireworks show or night time parade.

He is learning to wink or put something over his eye to block his vision in one eye. That seems to somehow trick the brain. But he hates the noise of the fireworks, hopefully his earmuffs will help with that. And the people crowding for parades makes him uneasy and he acts super hyper then. His stroller should help give him the personal space he needs. So we'll see.

We avoid the bright, flashing lights as well!

How did the braces work out yesterday? Did Goofy like the new job?

The braces worked out well yesterday. He didn't complain much. The only complaint he had was that he didn't know how to eat with them. And he was afraid to go on Splash Mountain. He was afraid they would fall on it. He said he likes the pressure on his teeth. It feels like a giant bear hug to him. It's been having a calming effect!

As for the new job, he needs lots of prayers. Let me know when you can talk.

Tell Anakin he looks so handsome!

I can talk for about ten minutes right now...
