Thanks so much. It was actually his driver's license test. He passed!! He did perfectly in the driving, but lost 6 points because he answered the question about parking on a hill opposite of how he should have.

For some reason, they took his picture BEFORE he took his test, and he looks scared to death in his picture. Otherwise, it's an ok pic!

Anakin really loved the Lego Store! We have to make sure to visit it again, but either early in the morning or once the sun starts to go down. It was very hot and he would have liked to have spent more time outside playing.


I'm off to run some errands but I'll be back and post pics of the Lego store this afternoon or evening.

I'm not sure what was up yesterday with my posts. I posted on several PTRs and TRs and none of my posts show?? I didn't see 2 of the earlier posts on my TR until way after they were posted, but one after theirs showed up? I think my computer is acting wonky!

The new Lego store looks so awesome!! I always love those huge Lego sculptures they have - so impressive to me as someone who can pretty much only build towers.

I called Benjamin over to look at the pics and he just kept saying, "Cool!! Cool!!" He was sad to have missed it - especially that little ramp where they race the Lego cars, he loved that. I'm sure Anakin was loving it!!

I think my favorite is the dragon and prince fighting - that's just so neat looking!

Congrats to Grumpy on passing, from someone who wasn't so lucky the first time around.

Grumpy was really worried at the end. The person before him flunked it. Grumpy had lost 6 points for answering a verbal question wrong. Goofy said he almost his a cone, but didn't. When he was finished the officer told him to report to a certain desk, but never told him if he passed or not. He found out at the desk that he passed!

I think that the dragon and prince fighting is my favorite too! I still have a bunch of pics from inside the store to download. There is a tiny display window of a cat watching a mouse eat cheese, and that just may tie with the dragon one!

for Grumpy!!! I was always told not to smile in a DL photo because if you got pulled over, you wouldn't be smiling then.

Totally in love with the Lego store. We've passed by it at DTD, but never went in (just looked at the sculptures outside), but now I really want to go visit it! I have to find a time to make it over there now.

Totally loving the pics! Sorry to hear that Grumpy was stressed and worried - but glad to hear he did so well! I'm sure that trek to the desk felt like forever for him without knowing how well he did.

Congrats to Grumpy. Getting a dl is a big step to adulthood! Love the lego store pics, Luke has been oohing and aahing over them. Took me an hour to get to post, lol cause he was still looking.
