We are using Disney's new VISA card frantically building Disney Dollars. Now what? We are sailing 1/17 how can we use them?

When you order your rewards, they will send you a card with the money on it. On the ship, bring the card to guest services and they will apply it to your account. They used to send you actual paper certificates, but they just recently starting doing the card thing.

It took me a long time to get my card -- probably a month. I was afraid I was not going to get it in time to make my payment 60 days out -

We have been using it also, and have ordered the rewards card - just have to get the rest of the dollars transferred, which I understand I can get done at WL when we arrive. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong.).

Does anyone know if the Disney Store still sells Disney dollars? And if they do, can you use them for your account on the ship? THanks!

Yes, The Disney Stores still sell Disney Dollars. They currently have 1's, 5's and 10's. You can apply them to your shipboard account at any time during the cruise.

Oddly enough - as my DD9 was spending her money - she wanted to "pay down her balance" with her Disney Dollars. Guest services would not let her pay off her purchases without an adult present. This did not make any sense to my daughter who really was trying to watch what she was spending and trying to do the responsible thing.
