Disney Dollars

Does anyone know if you can use the paper disney dollars onboard? I know the shops only take credit cards and not cash, but I didn't know if they accepted Disney dollars.

I am thinking way too far ahead about xmas and birthdays and wanted to give all of the little kids in our group disney dollars. The dollars are just so much more fun than the gift cards.

The ship is cashless, accepting only the KTTW card on board. You can take the Disney Dollars, however, and apply them at Guest Services to your shipboard account, so they will pay towards your charges on board.
