Yes it changed to Confirmed no problem but there's an error in that instead of a confirmation # it just says "confirmation" twice. My husband is going to try and call the UK from work since they have VOIP and it's cheaper but still a pain.

I swear I am always the one who's things like this never work right!

Hi and not to worry as this can happened, our itinerary also showed as 'confirmation # confirmation' and other posters have also reported this, it normally changes within 48-hours to.......

CONFIRMED
Confirmation # 440000000000

But if not then send an email to customer support as Expedia will need to call the resorts front desk who will then connect them to Disney's Travel Wholesale office who can issue the number.

I am now 7 days since booking and receiving my initial booking email (Wed. January 29), and still don't have a confirmation number.

I have emailed, received the reply above and have emailed back again, but am still waiting. If I have to call the UK and spend 30 minutes on hold (as was previously indicated), it may negate my entire savings as I was only staying one night in a value saving about $50.

Luckily I have 3 1/2 months before my reservation, so hopefully we can get this resolved.

I will keep you all updated.

OK I didn't realize that it might eventually change as others have received it no issues right away. I will keep you updated!

I booked on 1/23/14 and my confirmation # still reads "confirmation".

However, I emailed them through the website and got a reply on 1/30/14 with my Disney confirmation number. I explained in my email that I needed the confirmation number in order to link it in MDE, add the name of the second adult and to make DME reservations.

I was a little perturbed when I first saw my itinerary go from "booked" to "confirmation". Things like this always seem to happen to me! But Expedia's customer service came through for me! Good luck to those of you who are still waiting for confirmation numbers. I hope they come through for you!

Hi and sorry to hear of your wait.

We received a response from our first email which didn't help at all as they told us, 'they were unable to get through the reservation department'.

And we were the ones who called customer support and was given the number after spending about 30-minutes on the line but that wasn't an issue as we live in the UK.

If you don't get a positive response soon then email again and explain why you need the number just like Marionnette had done above.

As Expedia is open 24/7 there's possibly hundreds of customer support employees, so it might depend on who opens your email and their past experience with Disney resort reservations.

Also state that they would need to get the reservation number from Disney's Travel Wholesale office, we believe Expedia can't call them direct so will need to call the resorts front desk who will connect them to the Wholesale office. Also advise that this would be best done during office hours of 9.00am-5.00pm EST.

However, once I linked it to MDE, my reservation number there is 39xxxxxx.

I am not concerned about it but just find it interesting. All my dining reservations and the confirmation number I linked were all 14 digits beginning with # 4 but on the WDW MDE site my confirmation # is 9 digits starting with a 3. Any thoughts?

Also, anyone have the link to set up Magical Express?

I booked it this morning! Worked perfectly with the confirmation expedia uk provided me! My confirmation number started with the #4 so I can't help on why your number started with a #3.

Just wanted to update that I reached out to Expedia UK via their FB page. That must have worked because I got a call from a representative who had already called the hotel, gave me my WDW conf # and now everything is linked in MDE.

So all good now!

Ours was exactly the same, a 12-digit confirmation number 44xxxxxxxxxx and after we entered it into 'link resort reservations' on My Disney Experience we were given a new 9-digit confirmation number: 391xxxxxx.

We set up fast-passes and customised our magic bands and today is actually the last day for us to do that, so not long to go now.........

And our dining reservations are all 12-digits beginning with 4xxxxxxxxxxx

So all's looking good to go.

Do you mean that it can automatically change from "Confirmation # Confirmation" to the actual confirmation number? (Or from "Booked" to the actual confirmation number?)

Guess again, we never joined in with the European currency of the € Euro and stay with the old British £ Pound.

So £1,210 British Pounds Sterling is equivalent to $1,973.03 US Dollars.

I am so excited but my question is #1 has anyone ever checked in with this and #2 my receipt is still in pounds, is that gonna make a diff? #3 how do I link it to MDE and will we still get MB and all? I will be checking in later next month. I don't know if anyone has booked for a date sooner than that but I will post my experience when I return.

My receipt was in £ but my credit card shows the amount in $. The conversion rate was exactly what I expected.

You will be able to link your reservation in MDE once you have your Disney confirmation number. That number is NOT the same as your Expedia Itinerary #. It will either show up on your Expedia itinerary in a few days or you may have to email Expedia for it, like I had to do.

Once I added the reservation to MDE, I was able to customize MBs. They should arrive later this month. I still have several days to go before they will ship.
