here is an idea(and NO i did not read all thru the thread)

have 1 CS equal drink and meal (no dessert)

have 1 TS equal drink, entree and tip

give everyone 2 snacks a day, and a free mug.:goodvibes

I wish they'd do a point system. Say you could purchase 100 points and the snacks, QS and TS meals were assigned a value. So you could do anything two TS a day or all QS, the points would just be deducted as you use them.

If you want to substitute an app for a dessert, you can give up a few points.

If you want an alcoholic beverage, you can give up a few points.

Snacks are given a point value per day and if they go unused, you can use the points towards other meals.

I think its pure brilliance.

I agree! I'm not a snacker, so seldom use any snack credits, then have to rush over to Goofy's my last day to use up those credits. There are very few CS restuarants that I like, so with the basic DDP wind up having to pay OOP for at least a couple meals, then have CS credits left. Sometimes I want dessert, but most times would prefer an appetizer. I really wish each course would be a certain number of credits and that you could just buy as many credits as you actually need. I'm not a breakfast eater, but would love to be able to have a TS for both an early lunch and a late dinner (with a few Signature restaurants thrown in). For the way we eat the basic DDP is not enough TS credits, but the DxDDP is too many.

When I was there Dec 4th-12th I was on the DxDDP and was going to have a credit left over my last day (even with taking a meal to eat at the airport). I round up canceling Le Cellier on Friday night and ate at the Flying Fish (as a walk up) a second time that week, just so I could use the extra credit. I round up eating at a Signature restaurant every night, when I really would have preferred a couple of one credit restaurants, but didn't want to waste the dining credits. I had spent one day over at Universal, plus wasn't interested in eating breakfast, so had only lunch and dinner to use up three credits/day, but because I wanted to eat at several Signature restaurants the basic DDP would not have given me enough credits plus I would have wasted all those CS credits. If a point system had been available I could have just bought the points I needed and done just a couple of CS restaurants, a few one credit restaurants, and used the rest for Signature restaurants. I didn't need any snack credits.

For a week my ideal meals would be: WGP Express, Tangeriene Cafe, Norwegian bakery, Pepper Market, Le Cellier, Tutto Italia, Chef's de France, Konas, Bomas, Cape May, Flying Fish, Jikos, Artist Point, Citricos, and California Grill. Neither of the DDP really fits for those.
