Sorry GUYS but I just had to...

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.

Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-@ss man in a
red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Wow, no posts for the last hour & a half...everyone must be busy with holiday stuff! I bought my dishes today (part of my Christmas gift). I ordered "delicious" from Pfhaltzgraff. There was free shipping & I had a coupon for $25 off my next purchase so service for 8 was $100.

Ok, new dishes make me happy, so what! :rotfl2:

Cute picture! Congrats ;)

Brantley-Kate is feeling better finally! :cool1: She slept with me last night so I could keep an eye on her. She did well with the Phenergan (it knocked her out). Today, she actually wanted some breakfast which was the first bite of food she's had since last Wednesday! She ate a little at lunch and dinner and kept it all down. She perked up some and seemed to be better.

The antibiotic seems to be helping some too. Her cough was much calmer today, and she wasn't gasping for air. Thanks for all the good wishes!

Still sending pixie dust to Colby! How is your dad, as well?

My Dad is feeling much better. He hasn't had the vertigo in several days. Hopefully he will be cleared by his doctor soon. He's going crazy not being able to drive. I think he is driving my Mom crazy too. :earseek:

Thanks for asking.

Deb

I guess the holidays have everyone worn down and super busy. I hope everyone who is sicks gets better so they can enjoy the holidays.

Deb, are you giving him children's motrin? I love how that kills pain. No need for suffering this day and age. I swear by it for pain. We had a gazillion ear aches and always painful, this stuff was my lifesaver!

I also swear by children's motrin, but he doesn't seem to be in pain. He seems a little under the weather, but doesn't want any extra medicine. He is doing really well with the antibiotic. He has always been really good about taking motrin if he is sick or in pain so I'm not pushing it. He goes for a wound check tomorrow so we'll see how that goes.

I'm sure the IV fluids yesterday was a huge help. I'm glad that things look better. How are you feeling?

Deb

Well, with BK so sick (and now Davis and Rees have horrible colds) I'm tired and mending slowly. My Diabetes is keeping me down some too. But, I'm definitely better!

Christmas is this week and my family is coming and I got to go to Disney and the kids are so excited and DH will be off work starting Wed and my kids are home from school so I get to spend some extra time with them... So life Is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!

Davis and Rees both have my cold, but all the kids have ENT appts Wed am for surgery follow-up. If they need any meds, my ENT is awesome and will give it to them.

Hey, your grandma needs some new glasses! And maybe a couple of drinks to loosen her up some? :rotfl:

I have learned to take her with a grain of salt -

she has definately gotten worse as she got older

when I was 3 though - I told her "Grandma - I know the capitol of Mass."

she said to me "That's easy - everyone knows the capitol of Mass." :earseek:

so I turned to my 1 year old brother and said (I am sure in a VERY Julia like cocky tone) "David - what is the capitol of Mass."

when he did not answer I turned to her, cocked my head and said (in a total voice of satisfaction) "not everyone!" and turned and walked away from -

apparantly this was the defining moment in our relationship!! :rotfl2:
