Does anyone know:

On a 5 day cruise that hits CC twice do you get to choose which CC day if you're having a beach wedding, or is it predetermined by the ship?

I don't recall any issue with chairs during our ceremony. From the photos and what I remember it seemed there were more than enough chairs for everyone.

If it helps here was our setup in Palo-

Quick question:

Do they let you take your bouquet/flowers off the ship? I don't know if they would with custom rules.

good morning ladies :-)

Has anyone had to move or switch the date of their cruise after the held a specific date for a cc ceremony? Or has anyone had to have their wedding date switched?

Because we want to get our cruise stuff booked asap!!!

We origninally had our cruise booked for Sept of this year with the ceremony on deck 7. We booked that in Sept of last year. Then about 3 weeks ago, we had to push it back to October and there were no issues. I just called Shanda and made sure there was still availability for a deck 7 ceremony. There was so we changed our booking and everything with no problems.

Wow that's great she was so flexible, October is coming up :-) did you choose your floral decor etc. Are you doing a reception dinner?

I'm not so much worried about me switching my date but, I'm worried about my date being moved by Disney after we all book our group cruise.

Disney won't move your date to an entirely different cruise—they just reserve the right to move it around within the dates of the cruise you booked in case weather screws up the ship's schedule.

This happened to us. We cruised September 2008 and there were MANY hurricanes that season. Our cruise was routed a bit different, so our Vow Renewal was switched. I was a bit bummed, as I had a label embroidered with the date of our VR, sewn into my gown. (my something blue).

But, all is all, it was still a great time.

Thanks guys

I can deal with the date being moved to a different day due to hurricanes on the same ship, I was just worried that the date would be moved to a whole different cruise! Lol

Thanks again btw I love that idea for something blue!!!

We haven't chosen our flowers yet. I think I might go with the calla lillies. Our colors are garnet and gold and they have "garnet glow" and "florex gold" calla lillies, so I was going to talk to Shanda to see if I can get a mix of both.

Hello Fellow Disney brides...

Does anyone have advice on the cake flavors and filings? Can fruit be added within the layers?

Thanks for all your help,

Kathy princess:princess:

Well you are going to get many answers to this....we got and absolutely loved the chocolate cake with strawberry mousse...there is a picture of it in my TR....

My question to you is what flavors do you like and then go from there?

We had Chocolate cake with White Chocolate Mousse, and White cake with Chocolate Mousse. The Chocolate with white chocolate mousse was AMAZING!! There were chunks of white chocolate in teh filling....it was so yummy.

Thank you :o) You can imagine with all these decisions I'm going crazy... LOL

they had the sauces with the actual chocolate souffle. I would imagine if you wanted to pour it over your cake you could.

Our cake was in the lounge, not Palo. We did not ask for the sauce, and truthfully didn't need it. THe cake was wonderful without being coveed in sauce.

Hello ladies I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far!

I was wondering if anyone chose to add the appetizer option on their castaway cay cake cutting ceremony. And how was it, what kind of food etc??

Also do you and or your guest actually have time to enjoy castaway cay after the ceremony and cake cutting etc?

Hi! We did not add anything except the Palo Chocolate and Vanilla Sauces to out cake cutting. It is so early nothing else was needed. Our guests were on the beach by 12:30pm and we were there shortly after. We all had lunch at Cookies together and still had almost 5 hours at the beach. It was plenty of time and no one felt cheated out of Castaway Cay time!
