Thank you for the welcome! You are always very warm and very inviting to the newbies on these boards. I have never been interested on going on any chat forums, but when I found the DIS and the great people that are on here I could not resist anymore.

I would love to show some pics, but I can't get past uploading them to photobucket so any help would be appreciated.

you have to have a photobucket account first, then make a folder for your pics. Once they are uploaded it will give you a tag with

WELCOME! It's great you live close to DL. DF and I love DL - such a unique feeling knowing Walt was there.

That's so exciting it'll be your first time to WDW and on a Disney cruise! It'll be a preview of what having a cruise ship near YOU in CA may be like when they move a ship there in 2012!

I actually love this cake. It is a little different! I chose the square one in my packet. I am going to ask them to put a couple of hidden mickeys on there if possible. But I think I am going to leave it all white.

Hello, First of all thanks to all of you for sharing your TR and PJ. I have spent a few hours... ok a lot of hours reading about your plans and looking at all of your beautiful pics.

I'm getting married on the DCL in May 2010. I'm very excited because it will be my first time to WDW and on a cruise. I have been blessed to go to DL many times because I don't live to far away from it, but I also want to do something different for the wedding. I have been in contact with Brie and I'm just waiting for the packet because the prices are going to go up for the 2010 brides...yuck. Oh well at least I have it on the "books" now and that is all I really care about.

Anyways thanks again and I can't wait to talk about plans with all of you.

Hi, It is really moving when you look up at his apartment window knowing that Walt used to wake up in the mornings look out his window just to see a wonderful place he created and people enjoying themselves..wow sometimes a little tear emerges. I guess I can be emotional. My family and I are soo excited about the ship coming over here and staying. We are hoping on putting a "dummy" deposit down for when it happens. Gotta love that booking on a cruise discount.

I love the pics of your veil blowing in the wind. Is that from a friend's camera or from the disney photog? I have heard the good, the bad and the ugly about the disney photog's. Are they like the photopass people? You truely have a beautiful family and thank you for sharing them with us.

The close up of my veil was a friend's camera...her pictures turned out MUCH better than Shutters..While I am not happy that they were very hot (the flash was too much) I am glad that I got them..the photographer got some shots that I love (my bouquet close up and cake feeding shots) but overall...if you have someone with a good camera, use them.

I totally believe I got what I paid for..I used the MUCH cheaper "vow renewal" package and I think I got a new photographer (he had an earning my ears ribbon) but again, not totally unhappy...just made me wiser and able to pass on information to future brides.

I plan on having my dad take a lot of pics with his new DSLR and I plan on taking a lot of detail shots with my own DSLR. My mom had said we should just let my dad take pics, but I don't think I am going to do that. For one thing we wont have a pic of him walking me down the aisle! I don't want my dad to miss out on the day because he is taking pics (plus he is still learning how to use his camera and his shots weren't always that great when we were at the parks last month) so I think I am going to get the smallest photo package. I also really want to do an engagement session with the Roots around WDW soon, but I need to call them! I've been wanting them to do that since before Carrie made them DisBoard famous
