For $500 it better include EVERYTHING!!! There was NO way I could afford that, but if I had, I'd have flipped too.

They recently changed it and the biggest package which is $900 (maybe $999, can't rember off the top of my head) and includes 75 - 5X7's and 20 - 8x10's and the CD is now only including 75 images on the cd not all of them. It used to be all but they changed it they are now saying you have to pay the $449 for the cd with all of the images. I fought them for over an hour to get all 180 of my pictures on the cd incuded with the largest package. Had them call Cathy, showed them the planning packet on my computer. It was a MESS!

They would NOT sell me just the CD, that is all I really wanted anyway! No way no how. I am writing to complain.

If you want the big package with the CD and all of the images I would suggest tryying to find a real photographer to cruise with you and see if they would take pictures for just the price of the cruise, like pay for thier cruise and have them take pictures of you for 4 or 5 hours and give you the CD. You will get muh higher quailty pictures. Alot of ours have shadows and all. I also had to direct the photographer and set up 90% of the shots. It was the worst part of the wedding!

that is a big problem with DCL..you get the ship photographer which is a crap shoot..I tried to warn you all!!

Betsy........Oh how beautiful!! I'm still wiping the tears. The video you shared was so georgous. And with the music, I was a total sap!!!
Thank you for sharing that with all of us, I'd never heard that song...it was breathtaking.

the expensive package $995.99 says it includes 30 5x7 and 30 8x10, plus cd of ALL images. the additional option for $449.95 just says photo CD. That's a lot of extra money. I'm sure we'll just go with the new VR package. that seems fine and reasonable. Hell, i just spent close to that at Sears for a lot less photos!!

I told them about your pictures Betsy and I told them I wanted the most experienced Photographer they had. They swore to me you did not have an "earing my ears" photographer. I was told the guy I got had photographer tons of weddings etc etc etc!

Well, we get off the next day, so i would assume that i'll get my pictures later that evening, around dinner time. Sucks, as i'm going to have to hurry and pick the 20 5x7 plus 5 8x10's very quick, but oh well. judging by everyone's comments, it'll again be a choose of what's not the worst! Anyone know what the 8x10 folio is???

Woo hoo for the big massage!!! Just not in the budget....but i think we will splurge for the exotic rasul!!

We had the wedding on Tuesday and got the photos on Wed. at 2pm and had to make all of our picks that night. We were going with the cheap package until they handed me 160 pritns in 5x7....I couldn't pick. DH's parents put up the extra $500 so would could ge tthe cd. Just be prepared that they will have differant packages on the ship and try to make you think you are nuts when you quote the one you picked.

We ended up with 75 5x7's and 15 8x10's plus 2 5x7 folios and an 8x10 folio and the CD. They also would not let me use my lifetouch pictures as part of my package. Just be warned shutters sucks to deal with! Heatherxoxo ran into the same 75 picture problem!

My pictures were wonderful, but that was due to me setting up shots and directing Filip on how to take the pictures...LOL There was NO way I could have picked! NO WAY! I loved so many of them! Even the bad ones were good. I HATE that you have to pick so fast!

oh, now I am going to look thru my 600 photos and find his tag with the red "earning my ears" ribbon
I never thought about it..I didn't meet him before the wedding, but I CLEARLY remember standing and taking the veil blowing shots and thinking "oh great..he is a new guy"

well..i have MANY pictures of his backside..but none of his front!

Lisa..those lifestyle portraits were my exhanges..I didn't take ANY 8x10's of the wedding shots..maybe because they knew I was so pissed about the hot flash!

What are the "Lifestyle portraits" you're talking about. I think I may have missed something. I'm concerned about the quality of our wedding portraits, I want to make sure we get nice pics as the majority of our family members won't be there.

Just know what you want and make the photographer take those shots. My Guy listened well. Like when I told him we were laying in the sand and he had to lay down to to get the right shots. LOL

we've been on enought cruises that I know exactly what to expect with the pictures. And i'm OK with that. i don't expect out of this world photos.

different topic - Do we get a "phone meeting" with the floral person? Or do we just get those 3 little choices and we get what we get?? Has it always been $50 more for the calla lily bouquet? I just noticed that on my kit.

I was pleased, but I had to work to get the shots we got, a less assertive perso may not have the pictures I have. I was displeased at the prices and at thier lack of compromise.
