I think that is why the got "special permission" because it only applies to the bouquet..not the other flowers

Betsy..... yeah for you.....love the idea of the rings on the bouquet...they actually took that shot for us, but my nails are crappy so it didnt' look so good. I ended up giving my flowers to our coordinator and the "maid of honor" bouquet to the photographer....or the other way around...

Jen....good idea for the ring. I worked for a jeweler for many years and lots of people do that. My original engagement diamond is onw an earring...my husband wasn't too keen on that at first, but I never take the earrings off so he has gotten over it. Also, I just have to remind him of where his original wedding band is...

my DH called me in a panic one day..long story, but we were married for about a month before he told his ex wife we got married. He would take his ring off when he picked up his son and then put it back on..well, it fell out of his pocket and he and DSS got out in the parking lot and looked EVERYWHERE...he felt so bad..he is lucky it was just a gold band from Target

I teased him because when he called me, I was at Target and told him "nice try..but I am here at Target, so I will pick another one up for you today"

Yeah....men....we were white water rafting in Maine, and the guide told all of us to leave our rings in the safe, Dave was all man...you better take yours off honey, mine will be fine....yeah right. We got back and were changing and I noticed that his finger was bare, so I said....oh you decided to put it in the safe? NOT....LOST someone would certainly be surprised if they caught the fish who ate it!!! We got our original bands from Murray's which is like a Target today.

Hubby and I watched the Wonder leave port at 5pm, via the webcam from the Radisson site!!!! I was so wanting to be there! I can't believe you'll be leaving in one week! I can't wait to hear all about your trip, your vow renewal and the fun.

sadly..i can't get out of work..I do get off at 1pm on Fridays...so I only have today and tomorrow morning!!

This is a bad time to vacation..construction billing period is on the 20th of the month, so I am trying to get that done..which wouldn't be too bad except everyone wants me to do a million other things on top of billing..

Grr...don't they know I am in vacation mode!!!

Since 3 of 4 of us from work were going, we were all freaking out as it got closer. Trish and I were printing door signs left and right until we got the one's we wanted....bought the magnet part at Staples and now one of them hangs on my door at work permanently. It's just so I can relive it over and over!!
