oh..I won't have a live feed!! Just the video to put on youtube when I get back!!

Cheryl - did they put flowers on the table at Palo? I see pictures of the Palo Room and there is flowers on the table..I wanted to see if I send flowers to the ship if they would put them on the table for me

Yeah, they will put the flowers on the table. I think there was something there, I really can't remember now, but they brought a vase over so we could put our flowers in it, I think? It has been too long now, and too many martinis since then to remember.

Ok...more good news today!!

I had asked about having some color accent on my cake..they can add some pale green accents to the cake and will sprinkle the jade rose petals around the cake set up!!

She has asked Palo about using the matching flowers I have ordered from The Perfect Gift to the arrangement on the table in the room..waiting to hear about that

and the ship has approved bubbles!!

congrats on all the good news. I did not know bubbles were a problem (or even in question). I was looking for bubbles yesterday on my shopping trip, but could not find what i wanted.

I didn't think bubbles were a problem either b/c people bring them on their cruises occasionally for the sail away party! I bought mine over a month ago. :rotfl:

I found my bubbles on The Wedding Channel.com...it's worth checking out. :goodvibes

DisneyDmbNut - Have they told you what time your ceremony is going to be yet??

5:30

Cathy said that the early sailing out of Nassau will not effect the time of the ceremony

Started reading your PJ it is really good can't wait to see the pictures.. By the way love the way you look after loosing the weight... Great Gob:thumbsup2

I got this from Cathy on March 21:
The two times are 4:30 and 5:30pm~ right now it looks like you will most likely be in the 5:30 time slot, but because the Captain actually sets the time, it could change to the earlier time.
on June 9th she confirmed that it was still set for 5:30 even though we sail out earlier

We had a 5:30 VR and it was actually a great time....1 hour service, an extra 30 - 45 minutes for pictures around the ship, and then Palo at 7:30. OOOOO it is getting close.

do you know if there is anyone else on board haveing a wedding/vr that cruise?? So you'll actually be on deck 7 while the ship is sailing! That'll be cool, but aren't you worried about the wind?

i was worried about the wind, but my sister was on the Wonder last July and she said the wind is much less in July..I don't know..we will be going slow and they ceremony is short since the cake cutting isn't happening on deck..that will be in Palo

Cheryl - what does the captain say?? Did you exchange rings?? Do you take vows?? I have no idea what he says

I was curious the same thing? I've looked for some renewal vows, but not sure if the captain has something standard that he uses. Also, I've been trying to find some wording for our sand ceremony since it's a vow renewal and not a wedding. anyone have any ideas?

Yes, he reads right from the book that a justice of the peace would read, and he just tweaks it to say now that you are ready to renew your vows that were taken 20 years ago...yahda yahda yahda....then asked us if we wanted to add anything....we did not.

The entire thing took about 15 minutes total and then he stayed and chatted and took pictures with everyone for another 15 minutes or so. We had Capt. Thor. and he was rather stern appearing, but was rather nice.

We did exchange rings also which Maxim carried down for us, and the Capt. did say something, but I can't really remember now.

did you use your current rings?

I looked for another ring for DH because he likes a very thin ring, but I think he is happy with his plain gold band..and I adore mine!

We bought new ones. We had gotten rings for each other on our 10th to enhance our originals....actually David needed a new one because his original one is floating somewhere on the bottom of the Pennobscott River, but that is another story all together. I love the set I have, so I got a ring to go on my right hand...with aquamarine which is Maxim's birthstone...(and come to find out later, Alexander's also) and Dave's has 5 small diamonds in a channel set which he wears when we go out. Strangely enough, since I am totally digressing, in Russia married couples wear their wedding bands on their right hand, so it all just ties in nicely since both boys are Russian!!

How's that for an explanation..:rotfl: I am on a roll today...look out!!

They are 3 rings..I had the wedding set for a few years even though we weren't married...i got a matching band when we got married and had them soldered together after
