I just saw a Hersheys ad where they are making the kisses on a production line. The music is "hi ho" from Snow White. Found that peculiar as there are no disney references at all in the commercial..any thoughts?

Most film and film score copyright protection only lasts 70 years from initial publication or distribution. Since the film debuted in 1937 it has been over 70 years so the song may no longer be copyright protected as of 2007.

Actually, the law was changed in 1998:

So I think Disney's copyright is good until 2032.
