I feel like I total Dis-failure since I only discovered your TR a few days ago, but I've managed to catch all the way up now!
You're living my ideal life, basically. I really wish someone would have told me about the CP back in high school, I had no idea it existed until a couple years ago, and that ship has sailed I'm afraid!

I'm so happy you're back! Congratulations on all of your new achievements like finishing your College Program and moving to Florida! I start my own DCP on Monday and am so thankful to have had your trip report to prepare me for it. Thanks again for putting so much time into making something so special for all of us readers out there!!

SOOOO MANY UPDATES. You are on fire, Jess! But what a great time you had with Lia and Gina. #BirthdayFestivus really was a big success then. BTW, love how you took a selfie with Wreck-It Ralph during your M&G, channeling your inner Mark right there lol So excited to hear about the frump trip from your perspective! From what Maggie has posted, I know there is lots of great stuff in store.

May 29th, 2013 (Part 1) - The Frumps Arrive and the Tour of our Cars Suite!
This morning I woke up at 8:45 am. For some reason I thought the girls arrived at 11, but I mixed up their flight with my Mom's flight from a few weeks ago. My head was spinning. So by the time I woke up they already had landed.
So I got up really fast, showered, finished packing, and cleaning my room. Then I finally got over to Art at 10:30 am so we could check in to our room!
(Oh and just so you guys know, a lot of these pictures are Kristen's! She handled the camera during the trip and then I just took pictures on my phone.)
We went to our suite and dropped all of our stuff off. We were on the first floor of building 3! Here's a Cars Suite photo shoot! Here's the living room:
The Art of Animation shower curtains are AWESOME.

Here's the view outside of our window!
We took a group picture in the mirror! It goes (left to right) Vickie, Me, Nat and Alicia in the back and then Maggie and Kristen in the front!
We had the best security guard on the premises right outside of our room!
The cars section is beautiful!
It took us a while to get situated, but once we we were ready, Alicia, Vickie, and I went to get the park tickets. Then Kristen, Nat, and Maggie went to the Magic Kingdom and would meet us there! Off we go!

May 29th, 2013 (Part 2) - Starting off in Magic Kingdom!
It was finally time to enter the park! Yay!!
It was Maggie's first time at the Magic Kingdom EVER. THIS WAS A BIG DAY!!!
Whether it's the first time or the 100th time, Main Street USA always gives me the happiest feeling!
We walked in and went right to Frontierland! We ate at Peco's Bill and it started raining on our way there. It was very crowded, but we were able to find a small table so we could eat some lunch! Between the six of us, we got taco salads, a chicken sandwich, a pulled pork sandwich, and a burger!
After lunch our first stop was actually the Tangled bathrooms. LOL it was obviously a necessity! Maggie's first Disney experiences were good ones, I have to say. A restaurant and a bathroom.
Then we walked through new Fantasyland because everyone was dying to see it. However, the lines were too long to actually do anything.

So we went back into old Fantasyland and did PhilharMagic! Maggie LOVED that. She said it was so awesome and everyone was all smiles after it was over. Yay what a wonderful first attraction!

Then we had just enough time to do one more thing before dinner so we waited in line for the Haunted Mansion. It was fantastic as usual.

We headed out of Magic Kingdom after that! But not before taking a couple group pictures at my favorite spot!
Celebrate a Dream Come True was going on while we were exiting the park!
HI ALADDIN!!
The Mad Hatter is just the best.
It feels like just yesterday that Nat and I were walking out of the park tearing up to this parade on our last day at Disney back in August 2011, and now here we are together again!
Then it was time to go to Fort Wilderness Campgrounds! We had some BIG dinner plans tonight!! We took the boat over and went straight to Pioneer Hall! YAHOO!

THE BEGINNING OF ALL GOOD THINGS THAT ARE HOOP DEE DOO FOOD.
Then the show started! It was absolutely FANTASTIC. WE WERE SO READY FOR SOME HOOP DEE DOO!
FRIED CHICKEN!
RIBS RIBS RIBS!!!!!!
EEEEEEEP!
Delicious corn!
Beans!
Ahhh Disney mashed potatoes!
Every single person in that show blew me away. The cast just made me extremely happy.
God, they're so CUTE!!
DESSERT TIME IS COMING!!!
Our waiter is right in front there. He was precious!!
STRAW. STRAWBERRY. STRAWBERRY SHORT. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!
Six Bits was CRAZY!! I literally have never seen anyone with so much energy before in my entire life. He had more energy than the energizer bunny!!

May 29th, 2013 (Part 5) - The One in Which I Get to be the Can-Can Dancer!!!!
Then Johnny Ringo came up to me out of NOWHERE and asked me if I wanted to help in the show. Umm YES YES YES YES YES!!!!! I have NO idea why he picked me out of everyone to get up there on stage but I was FREAKIN' OUT!! I was so beyond excited!! Oh my God. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THIS!!!
Guys, I got to go up on stage at Hoop Dee Doo. I got to put on the costume and get to talk to the actors and OH MY GOD. Jim Handy was the one who told me what to do in the show and he SO nice. I told him I had been coming to Hoop-Dee-Doo for years and how I always wanted to be pulled up to be in the show! He was so excited that I finally got chosen to be up there! He asked me if I did any performing and I told him yes! He was glad to hear it!
Then I got to go out onstage. I did my can-can dance in that FABULOUS costume.
At the end of the story, Six Bits said, "well I thought the bear would kiss the can-can dancer!" And my line was "I can't do that, I'd be too emBEARessed!" Haha OHH bear puns!
The guy who was the angel was ADORABLE!! This was his first time at Hoop Dee Doo and his whole family was there so they were all cheering him on! SO PRECIOUS!
Then the rest of the Davy Crockett scene played out, we took our bows, I got a certificate, and then the show was over! I had to eat my strawberry shortcake really fast before it was time to leave! AHHH it was one of the best experiences of my LIFE!!!! I was so happy!!!!

We left The Hoop and it was pouring out. So we waited for the rain to subside and then we went back to the room! We got changed and headed down to the pool.
We went in the Big Blue Pool and listened underwater. You can hear a guitar playing!!
Then we were really cold... So we decided to head over to the Boardwalk to explore!
We walked all around the resort and then we got distracted by the food. (Because obviously we didn't eat enough earlier at Hoop Dee Doo!) Maggie and I both got cookie dough ice cream from Seashore Sweets and then Alicia got a strawberry cupcake, Vickie got a cinnamon roll, Nat got the Oreo mickey cupcake, and Kristen got the sugar coated almonds. Major NOMS!
Alicia, Maggie, Nat, and Vickie never went the Boardwalk before so they were loving it!! I loved seeing all of their reactions! It was such a fun and unique place to take everyone on their first day!
Then we came back to Art and went to bed. Another frump filled day was about to begin!

Your pictures are what I needed on a rainy in Ga.. My family had that same corner table at Hoop dee doo back in Jan.. It is a great table for all the action.

I loved the pictures of the Cars room at Art of Animation. My husband is not the Disney fanatic that my daughter and I are, but he LOVES the movie Cars. We hope to stay there one day if our budget allows.
I also loved the Hoop Dee Doo pictures. We've always wanted to go, but it's never worked out. It's definitely on the "Disney to do" list.

Love your photos of Hoop de Doo. We were there last month and we had the next table along. You really feel part of the action. I also had the salmon and the cobbler at Artist Point. Noms!

Hi! I am mostly a lurker but have read every one of your reports and one of the very few times I ever posted was in your report when you discussed transferring colleges (the first time!) I am so very impressed by your writing skill, humor and passion for all the things you love, including your friends, school, work, family and of course, Disney!
I wanted to wish you a huge congratulations on all you have accomplished and for following your dreams. Take it from one who knows- you only live once- you must do what makes you happy.
I am coming to Disney in 2 days with my 9 year old son- so excited! If i see you in the parks I will definitely introduce myself.
