Just want to say I LOVE your resort pictures (one of these days I need to resort-hop myself). What camera do you have, if you don't mind my asking?

I'm absolutely loving your trip report!!!!! I interviewed for the CP way back in February and I was pended for 6 and a half weeks. I was about to give up, but THIS MORNING I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!!

Reading your trip report has made me even more excited about the fact that I'M GOING TO BE WORKING FOR WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!!!

Love all of your updates on the resorts! The Yacht and Beach club are our favorite resorts too! The new resort merchandise is awesome. I will definitely go broke when I’m there in a few weeks.

How funny! My room at poly CL was right beside yours when we stayed march 23rd lol. They reopened the building march 13th! I was happy with the changes except the couch.

Loved all the resort pics. And ahhhh...the Polynesian Club. There's nothing nicer - especially when you've got that CM discount! I saw that chair and ottoman (from the Poly rooms) at Property Control once and was seriously tempted to buy it.

Then we walked into World Showcase and rode THE MAELSTROM! Someday I'm going to stay after and watch that movie. Someday....


Surge and I were both craving going to Port Orleans, so that was our first stop! As you know, Port Orleans French Quarter is my favorite moderate (besides Coronado, of course) so I was super excited! The three times Surge has stayed at Disney World he has stayed at French Quarter, so its like his home!

I can't even count the number of times I've seen that post-Maelstrom movie. Parts of it have become inside jokes with my family!

I'm staying at POFQ for the first time in May, right before I check in for my CP! I can't wait, especially because I go to college in New Orleans! I'm excited to spot all of the authentic Disney details, like those horse street posts! They really have those in the French Quarter!

I didn't buy this one, but I thought it was ADORABLE. I sent a picture of it to Preston because I tell him that all the time. (Speaking of... today, February 5th, is Preston and my 1 year anniversary. )

Oh my God! I've been reading your TR and I am so happy that you have this experience. I have to find this shirt for my daughters. My mom says that to them and my niece and nephews all the time. It would be so cool to get that for all of her grandkids!

I have to say that your Resort hopping day is just about the perfect day at WDW in my book. As much as we love the parks, we LOVE resort hopping. The first resort I've ever stayed at was POR, and it has continued to be my favorite because of how peaceful it is. I had one of my best "Disney moments" ever in life, sitting by myself on a bench next to the river. Your pictures of that resort made me so happy.

Also, the Beach Club at dusk... At my house, we had a picture over the fireplace that I was tired of, so we were trying to figure out what to do with that space. My husband suggested blowing up a picture of the lighthouse at the Beach Club, looking back towards the Boardwalk. That's what we did, and I LOVE it. It's 30"x 30" so it's gigantic! It's so amazing to have that in my living room and look at it every day. The Beach Club is perfection.

Resort hopping is my favorite! I would love to just do that for a day. And it seems like you guys got a ton of pins! Definitely a great day.

That’s awesome you guys got a refurbed room at the Poly! The DISunplugged did a review of one a few months back and the room was horrendous. I’m glad you guys had a good experience!

You (and Lia) are totally responsible for my deep descent into Disney madness. I may even do my own wacky trip report. I was excited for our May trip before, now I am completely obsessed. Thank you for taking the time to write such wonderfully detailed reports, they are so uplifting. Your alligator picture reminded me of one of my own, took when I was 19 and visiting my CM friend one summer. She was friends with Mickey and Minnie mouse. It was an awesome time, this photo was from our day of resort hopping.

Yeah, let's just say I went to college long before the advent of digital cameras!

My family and I will be there during your frump adventure, if I see a bunch of crazy girls livin' it up and looking like Disney princesses, I'll know who you are! And I'd love to follow you on twitter, is there a way to get your twitter handle?

OH-MY-GOSH-JESS!!
I have been a little ummm...freaked out, excited, ready to explode because we depart for WDW in 11 days! YES, I can check in tomorrow!!! But when I saw your pictures of the Mansions at Riverside I think I about spontaneously combusted!! LOL! We are staying in a Royal Room River View!!! Those are the best pictures of how close they really are to the river!
I have been following your DCP TR & it is the first one I started following. You have taught me so much about where to eat, character greeting spots and TONS more! I have to say thank you!!
AND you were the first person I told about my niece getting accepted into the DCP! (I had to let her tell the whole family ) And let's face it, not everyone quite gets Disney addiction! I was last there over 25 years ago & am finally taking my kids (16 & turning 21 while we are there!). I've felt addicted all these years & life has gotten better financially so I am taking the kids!
Anyway, thank you for making my trip planning even more exciting!
Maybe we'll see you around the parks!
