DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM - A Spring 2013 Adventure! *COMPLETE* 11/20

Great updates! So sad preston is gone. I hate that when you look forward to something and its over just like that!

I have heard before about the peach dessert from france being bad/horrible. Everyone who has it says its bad. I think its because it is made with rosemary! YUCK!

So excited for club level!!

You have to be kidding me!The IllumiNations popcorn bucket is PRECIOUS!:)

You MUST go see Off Kilter until you catch Jamie playing those Bagpipes!!!!:)

Can you believe they are going to EXPAND World of Disney with the Disney Springs project!?!:)

I know you are still sad that Preston is gone and Spring Break is over, but what a Spring Break it was!:)

Ahh your trip with Preston sounded just perfect! Hopefully he will get to come back and visit you soon!

I just loved all the ride photo poses, by the way, they were all too funny! :)

Hi Jess!

My name's Lyanne and I just wanted to say hi and let you know that the way you keep up with your report is really inspiring!
Hopefully I can do the same during my next CP since I wish I would've kept some sort of journal of my last one. :p

Reading about you saying goodbye to your boyfriend hit close to home since I met my bf during my first CP and we've been in a long distance relationship ever since! I feel ya!

Anyways, I'll be doing concierge starting in June and I can't wait to hear about your concierge experience! :goodvibes

I'm tired just reading your trip report!! LOL!! You seriously were running the whole time. Looks like y'all had such a fun time. You and Preston make such a cute couple. Enjoy your writing and your pictures. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

I'm so glad to see you eat at GG, we are planning that in November. I'm having grandma make special farmer Mickey dresses for my girls to wear. The food looks great. Awesome updates!

March 11th-12th, 2013

March 11, 2013 - Kona

This morning I had to work at 11:30 am! I finished work at 7 o’clock and then I headed over to Downtown Disney because I was going to go eat at Wolfgang Puck for dinner. I was craving spaghetti and all of my friends were working so I was going to go by myself.

However, after 20 minutes of trying to (unsuccessfully) find a spot at DTD, my friend Kelsey from Coronado texted me! She said it was her birthday and she wanted to go out to eat! So I drove back to the apartments and went over to her place.

We went with her two roommates over to Kona! Since we were so late in booking a reservation I had to make it for 9:50 pm. However, when we showed up 45 minutes early the cast member PRAISED us because that meant he wouldn’t have to stay later! HOORAY!

I got the same exact meal as last time: California Roll, Teriyaki Steak, and THE BREAD. I didn’t take food pictures because they are the exact same as last time. But YUM everything was still delicious. That has to be one of my favorite meals.

I did take a picture of my lemonade with wildberry foam, though! It was a little different here but still very delicious!

img9330z.jpg

Kelsey got a precious little cupcake for her birthday! It was chocolate, had lots of sprinkles, and had a little picture of Lilo and Stitch on the plate!

After dinner we headed back to the apartments. I went home and there was NOBODY there. Everyone must be working late tonight!

I started reorganizing my pins and then it was getting late. So I put them away and went to sleep!

March 12th, 2013 - The Great and Powerful Oz

I slept in until about 11 am today. I worked on some trip report stuff and then had Hospitality at 1:30 pm. We had lecture, talked about our project, etc.

After class, we went back to the apartment. I threw some laundry in and got that done. I worked on trip reports and then around 7 pm Mark and I headed to Downtown Disney!

We parked at the West Side and went to AMC Dine-In Theatres! This was a thing on our Bucket List and I was SUPER excited!

img9334g.jpg

img9339f.jpg

Our movie choice of the night was OBVIOUSLY The Great and Powerful Oz! Oh my God, I was so excited. I heard that the movie was good, but I had no idea what to expect.

Well first off, the best part of the experience was that we got brought food to us while we ate. It was basically like Sci-Fi Dine-In but movie theater style!

img9336g.jpg

Mark ordered mozzarella sticks for his appetizer. I had one and it was REALLY good. I’m not a big mozzarella stick person, either. He got a chocolate milkshake too which he loved.

dsc1052l.jpg

Then both of us got the macaroni and cheese with chicken on top. HOLY COW. Guys, this was AMAZING. Absolutely unbelievable. I was so happy. I couldn’t even get over how delicious and cheesy it was. Plus the noodles were swirly so that’s my favorite kind!!!

img9338o.jpg

As far as the movie, I won’t give away any spoilers but it was GOOD. Oh wow. I absolutely loved it. It was definitely one of the most visually appealing movies I have ever seen. The characters were all fantastic. There were just so many twists that you wouldn’t expect. (Ha. Ha. Twists. Like tornado? OH MY GOD, I’M SO PUNNY.)

Plus, Mila Kunis was in it! Stupid me didn’t connect the face or the name (until after the movie) to JACKIE FROM THAT 70’S SHOW. AHHHH! I don’t watch a lot of TV and movies so like this was exciting for me to make that realization. I knew that girl looked ridiculously familiar!!!

Mark still likes Wicked (the musical) better, but I think that I love both of them separately. I didn’t really spend time comparing the two and I just took it for what it was. I absolutely loved it and I definitely recommend going to see it if you haven’t already!

We went back to the apartment and then I pretty much headed to sleep! That was a fun night!

LOVE the new updates! So sorry Preston had to leave :(
How are you liking Advanced Studies in Hospitality Management? I'm considering taking it during my Fall Advantage 2013 CP!

Me and my boyfriend were just as crazy obsessed with pin trading as you guys!
Unfortunately, things didn't work out and we're not together anymore...but still! Haha! I think he was even more obsessed than me at one point!

Where do you get all your Disney park music from?!

Omg that's a lot of fake pins! Now I feel like I gotta go check mine...

P.S. YOUR LIFE <3 This comment would be 9 pages long if I continued to express my love for everything that you're doing!

:rotfl:

THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU! Lolz

Ohhh I've never seen or heard of the "american dream" before I think that's the perfect alternative for my daughters, because the khaki gori always gets worn more than eaten and when I get my grown up slushie in France they always want a cool treat too.So thanks for including that cause I love that it has a lid YAYYYY ( trust me when it seems boring now,but when you're a parent you'll like lids too lol)

Words of wisdom for sure! :thumbsup2

WOW so many updates. I have not left you an annoyingly long comment in awhile, so I may as well do that now since I am dying to be in Disney and just wanna talk about it endlessly. :D

Okay, I really have to color a Duffy. I was in the Disney Store Times Square the other day and they have an entire Duffy section now complete with outfits. I was very tempted to buy everything and just had this overwhelming I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD moment. Ahhh. However, I was going to a play right after so I really didn't want to have this big giant bag of Disney merchandise to lug around... that would have been extra frumpy of me.

I'm glad you took my advice on the Trio of Trifles!! I can not wait to try that and everything else myself!!!! 48 days!!!!!!

I WANT THAT POPCORN BUCKET!! I have so many from over the years. Have you seen the new Dumbo one from Storybook Circus? Because it's so cute and I NEED it.

If you and Preston move in together someday please just adopt Pluto.

LOL I love you guys dashing to Space Mountain and celebrating your victory while on board. That pose is very Breakfast Club of you.

God, I miss WPE. The fact that the food even counts as a QS credit is mind blowing. Like, it may as well be gourmet in my opinion.

The Beatles, Disney pins, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.... your boyfriend just has flawless taste.

Goodbyes are the worst but I'm so glad you guys had such a magical time together, right down to his flight getting bumped up. Connections suck, especially on the way home!

I have been wanting to try the grilled cheese at Captain Cook's for ages. It looks/sounds SO delicious! I love that they have unique cupcakes at so many more QS places now too. AHH so many cupcakes, so little time.

I've always wanted to get a pedometer for Disney. All the walking is seriously a lifesaver and makes calories just disappear! THANK GOD.

I am freaking out over Celebrate the Magic. I was so mad they had gotten rid of M, M, & Y b/c I was dying to see it again on my October trip and it was gone. :( However, everyone is saying Celebrate the Magic is 10x better which just blows my mind because M, M, & Y made me freak out and cry so much. So I am like bracing myself BIG TIME for this. Oh my God.

Going from WPE to Lean Cuisine to vending machine... GIRL THAT IS ROUGH.

Hmm, I fear Sanaa is a little too adventurous for me! But those desserts sound and look SO GOOD.

I actually really love just taking the time to write and organize my pictures. It’s so therapeutic to me.
That's exactly how I feel!

OH MY GOD BOARDWALK CLUB LEVEL FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY THAT IS PERFECT. I wish I could stay there SO bad! For some reason that has always been the deluxe I've wanted to stay in the most. Someday I will!!

We have one of those Dine-In theatres like 30 minutes away and I've been waiting for the perfect movie to come out to go and try it. The menu is just like... omg, I want everything on it.

First off, I think I need to go see Oz. Maybe I'll take my oldest, although I'm sure a "date" with your mom is totally uncool. But I doubt he'll turn down a free movie vs. babysitting the youngest so I can go with DH.

I'm so glad your trip was so magical! My DH and I were in a long distance relationship before getting married, and then since he's in the military we've spent more time apart then together. However, no matter how bittersweet goodbyes may be the hellos are so fabulous! I'm so glad you enjoyed all your time together and it was full of pixie dust and magic!

March 8th, 2013 - Preston Goes Home ):

Ah the last morning. Karen and Alexander’s flight left sometime around 7 am so they were gone before we woke up. Matt had an earlier flight too so he brought his luggage downstairs before I was awake.

Preston’s flight wasn’t until 6:35 pm so we had a nice half-day ahead of us to spend together. We were both awake by 9 am and we got ready and packed up until 11 am. We were looking at all of the little treasures we acquired throughout the trip and reminisced about random memories we had.

We also went through all our pin collections again because we’re obsessed. I swear, I will never meet another couple who has a love for Disney pin trading like we do.

At 11 am we packed the car and went down to the front desk. We saw Matt just chilling in Landscape of Flavors so we said a quick hello. Then we went to the front desk and the line took FOREVER. Finally we were assisted and the cast member settled our bill and told us our remaining dining credit balance. We had four quick services left to use!

I grabbed the Art of Animation t-shirt to add to my collection! I realized that I'm obsessed with owning resort t-shirts. No one is mad.

dsc1018fp.jpg

Matt was going to Magical Express so we said our goodbyes! Then Preston and I were off to Downtown Disney!

We walked by the pin store and I looked inside… then I saw THE PIN BOARD WAS OPEN!!!! So I basically BOLTED in there without an explanation and Preston was like “where are you going!?” And then he saw THE BEAUTIFUL PIN BOARD. Basically Disney loves us. I traded for a Carsland pin and a Duffy pin! Preston got a chip pin and a firefighter Goofy pin!

We were both hungry so I had to take him to my favorite place – Wolfgang Puck Express! When we got in there, the song “Somebody More Like You” by Nickelcreek was playing and that is one of Preston’s FAVORITE songs. Nickelcreek is a really underrated band but their music is AWESOME. Preston was freaking out. It was another one of those “Disney is perfect” moments. (Also, if you feel like looking up Nickelcreek, my favorite song by them is called “This Side.” Just saying!)

We ordered our food and we found a table. Our waiter (I believe his name was Omar) was AWESOME. He was just a genuinely nice guy who did his job. We were very satisfied.

I ordered the pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Spring break started with a WPE pizza and ended with a WPE pizza! Not a bad life. The fact that they have this combination of toppings on their menu is PERFECT because they’re literally my two favorites. Disney, I love you.

dsc1005h.jpg

Then Preston got the bacon wrapped meatloaf, which he was SUPER excited about. Like… bacon and meatloaf are two of the best foods in existence. Why wouldn’t you put them together!?!? Preston said it was beyond delicious! I mean, just look how pretty it is:

dsc1007pg.jpg

For dessert I got the frozen yogurt with strawberries on it. YUM that was absolutely fantastic and refreshing!

dsc1011o.jpg

Preston got the cheesecake for his dessert! The kid loves his cheesecake.

dsc1008on.jpg

After Wolfgang Puck, we went into World of Disney! Preston needed to go to the largest Disney store in existence!

I wasn’t going to buy anything, but there was this long sleeve shirt with the old WDW logo on it that I have been meaning to get. So I just decided to finally buy it today! And then I found this BEAUTIFUL new crew neck that they must have just released. It is embroidered and it is gorgeous and it is so soft! Ah I was so excited – what a find!

dsc1017j.jpg

Then I also got a book called “Disney Trivia from the Vault.” I started reading it while I was waiting for Preston to get back from the restroom and I couldn’t put it down! So I decided to buy it so I could read the entire thing later!

Preston got his Mom a cute phone holder (the sparkly one with Mickey and Minnie) and then we headed out!

We went over to the Lego Store because Preston LOVES his Legos. He was OBSESSED with Legos as a kid and I promised him I would take him there. He didn't have time to go during his last trip so it was a necessity this time! He was just so happy to be in the presence of so many legos. He thought the big lego structures were awesome.

dsc1012ui.jpg

dsc1014x.jpg

Then we went over to Goofy’s Candy Company because we were going to transfer our last two quick services to snacks. However, they cannot do that there unfortunately. WAH. You can only transfer quick services to snacks at quick service locations... if they even let you do it at all.

Then we were going to get Earl of Sandwich for us to eat later but the line was just so long. I had a mini-breakdown at this point because I was sick, tired, and my entire body was just sore from going all week long. I’m a five year old. Good thing Preston knows how to deal with me.

Being the smart boy that he is he suggested that in a case like this we should go get some ice cream to console me. We went to Ghiradelli and split a banana split. It was a beautiful decision and it made me feel a lot better. It was delicious.

dsc1016x.jpg

Then at that point I was going to take Preston to Coronado so he could see where I worked but I was SO tired. I just couldn’t do it. He was totally fine with that and I will definitely show him the resort the next time we are in Disney together!

So we drove to my apartment and said hi to Jana and Maria who were home. Then we just passed out on my bed and slept from like 2:45-4 pm. It was the most beautiful nap of my entire life. I was so comfortable and sleep was the best thing that could’ve happened at that moment.

Then it was time to go to the airport. I quickly showed Preston my pin book before I left and he loved it!! Then we hopped in the car and we were off.

We just talked about how perfect the trip was the entire ride there. I pulled up to the drop off area and gave Preston the biggest hug ever. It didn’t really hit either of us until this moment that he was leaving. We were so wrapped up in how wonderful the trip was that the goodbye was kind of a shock. I didn’t cry as much as I normally do when we have to say our long goodbyes but there were still some tears.

I drove home and listened to my Disney music until I got back to the apartment. Preston texted me and told me that he got bumped to a different flight that was actually direct instead of connecting!! So he got home 2 hours ahead of schedule! I SWEAR, THIS TRIP WAS PERFECT.

At my apartment I just unpacked everything. It was so nice and clean in there because we had inspection while I was gone. We got the white glove award! WOOHOO!

I had those two last quick services to use up, so I texted Mark and we decided to go to Captain Cooks for dinner at the Polynesian. We drove there and it literally took us 15 minutes to find a parking spot. It was RIDICULOUS.

We finally went inside and ordered our food. I got an adult grilled cheese (no tomato though), which was yummy. I really liked the multi-grain bread it was on.

dsc1028x.jpg

For dessert I got a PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY CUPCAKE. Yeah. That exists. It was actually really delicious! I liked it a lot. The cake and the icing were both really light and there was grape jelly in the middle. It tasted really good! It wasn’t as good as a Starring Rolls cupcake obviously but I did enjoy it quite a lot.

dsc1024q.jpg

Mark got the turkey club for his meal and a red velvet cupcake for dessert!

dsc1027k.jpg

I can't compare the red velvet cupcake to Starring Rolls because I didn't try any of it. I'm guessing Starring Rolls' is better but this still looked AMAZING.

dsc1025hk.jpg

dsc1026f.jpg

After we finished eating, we looked at the pin book and then we headed back to the apartment. I grabbed my computer and went over to Mark’s apartment and hung out with Mark, Surge, and Shane while I caught up on my trip journal!

When Preston got home, he told me how many steps we all took each day! His Nintendo DS keeps track of your steps like a pedometer, so it was really interesting to see how much walking we actually did!

March 2nd, 2013: 5,700 steps
March 3rd, 2013: 15,337 steps
March 4th, 2013: 21,932 steps
March 5th, 2013: 17,613 steps
March 6th, 2013: 15,995 steps
March 7th, 2013: 19,696 steps
March 8th, 2013: 5,168 steps

GRAND TOTAL: 101,441 steps!!!!

THAT IS A LOT OF WALKING. This is why it is completely acceptable to eat a lot of food in Disney! :thumbsup2

Continued in Next Post
Wow that is a lot of stepping you did! I wonder how many miles that translates to! You should have Preston tell you how many steps he takes on another week, when he's at home or at school, to compare how much someone walks on a Disney vacation vs how much they walk on an average week. It has to be at least double, if not 3-4x the normal amount.

I'm glad you all had a wonderful vacation together!

Is it bad that I am contemplating being late to work because I want to read updates????
Thanks for writing! This is so much fun, and you guys would be the ONLY people I could say that to!

CONGRATULATIONS on the GSF!!!!!!!!!!:)

I know how GREAT I felt,as a Guest,when I was "recognized" with a Pixie Dust Pin Set,so I can only imagine how AWESOME you,as a CM,must feel to get a GSF!:)

Here's to you getting MANY more!!!!:)

Just read all of your updates! We were there from March 2nd to March 7th. We also went to the same parks as you some day! It was so cold!! This was the first time we've been in March we usually go in June or July.

March 13th, 2013 (Part 1) - Eating Around the World F&G Style!

This morning I got up early and headed over to Vista Way! I had to make up my Communications class because my Disney University classes conflict with the regular Thursday time.

What I LOVED about this class was that it was done at 12:30 pm. HOLY COW I HAD THE WHOLE DAY!!! And I had some fun plans!!

I got back to Patterson and went over to Marks apartment! Although Mark wasnt going to go with us because he had to work that afternoon, I was headed to the park with Sergio, Shane, and Cody! HOORAY!

We planned to go to Epcot and eat at all of the Flower and Garden food stations! I was EXCITED because I was starving.

They boys voted on going the Mexico way first so off we went!

Our first station was the Florida Fresh stand. I got the Angel Food Cake with Strawberries on top. WOW this was delicious. The strawberries had an interesting and delicious flavor to them! This was probably one of my favorite dishes of the entire day. It was just so refreshing and sweet!

dsc1053j.jpg

In Mexico we stopped at their stand, Jardin de Fiestas. I got the Tacos de Carnitas, which were basically little pork tacos. YUM this was another one of my favorite dishes! It really hit the spot. I would love another one right now, please!

dsc1055pd.jpg

Cody got the Tostada de Jaiba, which is a crab tostada! He really enjoyed it!

dsc1056r.jpg

Our next stop was the Lotus House in China! I didn't get anything here, but the boys got their FAVORITE food item of the day at this stand. It was the Spring Pancake with Grilled Chicken and Green Apple. I had a bite of it and it was delicious! The meat had a really good spice to it and the pancake was really good! When we left, the Chinese cast member said we will see you again later! And the boys were like, wow, she was really confident in her food. And they ended up LOVING this and saying well, now I know why she said she would see us later!

dsc1057h.jpg

Next was the Bauernmarket: Farmers Market. I got the Savory Bread Pudding with Spring Peas and Mushroom Ragout. Umm... if you like mushrooms, GET THIS. I have a weird thing for properly cooked mushrooms because I think they just taste SO GOOD. This was definitely a winner. I enjoyed it a lot.

dsc1063n.jpg

Shane got the German Meatloaf Sandwich.

dsc1060c.jpg

Cody got the potato pancake.

Germany = Snow White topiaries!

img9394l.jpg

In Italy I got another Panna Cotta al Limoncello. YUM I absolutely love this. It sort of reminds me of a tapioca pudding (minus the beads) plus some REALLY yummy raspberries. You cant go wrong!

dsc1064ebv.jpg

Shane and Sergio got the Asparagi con Aragosta allOrtolana, aka Green Asparagus, Lobster, and Garden Cocktail sauce. They both really liked this one!

dsc1065m.jpg

Here is the view from Italy. It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day outside!

dsc1066a.jpg

The mime in Italy was coming out to perform while we were leaving, and coincidentally his name is Sergio! So Surge had to go take a mime picture with the sign. It was necessary.

dsc1067ud.jpg

Then it was time for AMERICA! Their stand it called The Smokehouse: Barbecue and Brews. IT SMELLS AMAZING OVER THERE.

Shane got the Pulled Pig Slider. Honestly, this was not a slider. It was a full sized sandwich!! He ate it right up though. It smelled really good!

dsc1068a.jpg

I got the Smoked Beef Brisket which I LOVED. The meat was really tender and had a fabulous flavor. Plus the delicious cornbread was just an added bonus! It is a jalapeno cornbread, though, so it is a bit spicy!

dsc1069o.jpg

Then for DESSERT. Oh my. I got the Rocky Road Brownie Mousse. HALLELUJAH! It was absolutely delectable. I didn't really eat the brownie part at the bottom, but I was pretty much in love with the whole chocolate mousse + marshmallow combo. YUMMY, YUM, YUM.

dsc1070c.jpg

At this point I was getting full, but we weren't done yet! We were only halfway through the countries!

Japan was next and thats where I got some Frushi! Yes, its fruit sushi. BRILLIANT, RIGHT!? They had coconut-flavored rice around strawberries, pineapple, and cantaloupe. If you take out the cantaloupe, for me, it is perfect. I really liked the strawberries and pineapple in this dish they tasted great!

dsc1072hm.jpg

We stopped in Morocco at the Taste of Marrakesh and Shane got the Lamb Kebab.

dsc1074l.jpg

Next was the United Kingdom! Shane got a berry trifle and Cody got the chocolate trifle! They loved them, just like I knew they would! I was so sad I was too full to have another berry trifle. I will just have to go back again!

I did take some topiary pictures in the UK though! I love all of the Winnie the Pooh ones:

dsc1075s.jpg

dsc1076sf.jpg

dsc1077l.jpg

My FAVORITE thing is that they put Peter Pan on top of one of the Buildings in the UK this year! I bet that so many people miss him up there but I think it was such a clever thing to do!

dsc1078vy.jpg

Canada didn't have a stand, so we passed by it and got to the last one on our route: Pineapple Promenade! Surge is 21 so he was having a few drink samples from around the world. He couldn't pass up a pineapple dole whip with spiced rum! He liked it a lot!

dsc1082r.jpg

I got myself some Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Umm... YUM. Seriously, it was delicious.

dsc1079r.jpg

However, the REAL winner here was the Frozen Violet Lemonade. People, this stuff is AMAZING. I didn't know what to expect. Its purple lemonade! It has a slushie consistency, but then the flavor just blows you out of the water! WOW its so good!! I need to go back and get another one soon!!! I think Surge actually liked this better than the dole whip! YAY FOR A WINNING NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE!

dsc1080p.jpg

My wonderful little meal here:

March 13th, 2013 (Part 2) - TANGLED BATHROOMS!

We were standing at a little table as we enjoyed our samples and I had to take some pictures as the monorail passed by:

dsc1083uk.jpg

dsc1085h.jpg

dsc1087x.jpg

Then it was time to head out of the World Showcase!

img9404g.jpg

We stopped at the DVC booth and Cody signed up for a DVC tour. His family is looking into it so he wanted to go check out some villas. For the rest of us, we were PIN TRADING!

I spotted this FANTASTIC Figment Knight pin on this one cast member’s lanyard, but he was talking to a guest. So once he finished, Sergio wandered over and he spotted the pin literally milliseconds before I asked “can I trade for your Figment pin!?” From that moment on, Sergio has been convinced that I am a pin stealer. However, I believe no such thing. I won it fair and square and I LOVE MY FIGMENT KNIGHT PIN!!! I'm never giving it up.

We stopped in Club Cool and MouseGear. Then Lindsay met up with us! We decided to take the monorail over to Magic Kingdom! Maria had 13 Magic Kingdom reentry fastpasses that were going to expire on March 15th, so I suppose we just HAD to go use them, right!?

We got to Magic Kingdom and the first thing I saw were MR. AND MRS. EASTER BUNNY!!!! We absolutely had to go meet them!

dsc1089z.jpg

They are SO STINKING CUTE. OMG. Also, I just love that greeting area that they are in. It’s so cute back there!!

dsc1092l.jpg

Shane decided to go get his haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop so we said we would meet up with him later.

img9408e.jpg

Then we walked towards Frontierland and stopped to get a few Photopass pictures on the way! DAWM was going on so I was VERY happy.

dsc1094b.jpg

dsc1095lo.jpg

The new photopass "magic shot" that they're doing at some locations is with the big picture frame! We had to try it out and I think it came out very cute!

dsc1097x.jpg

The park was VERY crowded today so thank God for the fastpasses Maria gave us! We went on Thunder Mountain, requested the back seat, and had the WILDEST RIDE IN THE WILDERNESS!

dsc1100b.jpg

Shane met up with us after and all of his hair was gone! AHH! We didn’t know he was going to get a buzz cut so we didn’t even see him when we initially passed him after exiting the ride. Ah such impulsive decisions were being made at the Magic Kingdom.

For the rest of the day I referred to him as "random man" because I didn't recognize him anymore! "Random man... blending in with the rest of society."

Then we went over to the Frontierland pin store! Surge got an Oswald pin! I just did some trading/looking around. Lindsay went and got some churros so YUM.

dsc1101xq.jpg

dsc1102eu.jpg

From there we headed through Fantasyland! WE HAD TO GO SEE THE RAPUNZEL BATHROOMS OMG.

dsc1103e.jpg

The theming is INCREDIBLE. Think of it this way: if a company puts that much effort into the way a bathroom looks, then they seriously care about EVERY LAST DETAIL. So when bigger projects come along, they are BEYOND extraordinary. As you can clearly see with New Fantasyland.

dsc1104kj.jpg

The Tangled bathrooms are literally the most gorgeous bathroom/sitting area in the entire Magic Kingdom. I am absolutely blown away by the detail and how I LITERALLY felt like I was transported to the Kingdom when I was there. It’s so colorful and gorgeous. I absolutely love everything about the area. Just walking through it is such an attraction in itself. Like, it's a "stop and smell the roses" moment. You don’t need to always have a ride or a restaurant or a gift shop to have something to appreciate.

dsc1106r.jpg

dsc1107m.jpg

I LOVE THESE POSTERS. They have details in the writing RIGHT from the movie. I don't know why I'm surprised.

dsc1108o.jpg

dsc1109q.jpg

dsc1110r.jpg

THEY HAVE THE LANTERNS.

dsc1112v.jpg

AND THE FLAGS!

dsc1113b.jpg

It's like Rapunzel painted it herself!

dsc1114m.jpg

This was inside of the girls bathroom. There is a big shelf along the back with all of the activities Rapunzel mentions in "When Will My Life Begin." YEAH.

dsc1118z.jpg

And this is an extremely frumpy video of me getting all excited over these bathrooms: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM9IQhEkj8Y

THEN to top it all of, THERE ARE HIDDEN PASCALS AND HIS FRIENDS ALL AROUND THE AREA.

dsc1119jj.jpg

I found a few! Do you see them?

After skipping through the new area like a child, it was off to Tomorrowland! Lindsay's boyfriend met up with us! Them two and Cody went on the Carousel of Progress! In the meantime, Sergio, Shane and I went on Space Mountain!

The confused look:

This ride was AMAZING because the PeopleMover was down, so the PeopleMover lights were on! So for the first half of my ride, I could partially see where I was going! IT WAS SO COOL OH MY GOD. Plus I was in the front row so like YEAH!!!!!

We got off and then stood around for a while near the Tomorrowland Dance Party. After standing there for a while contemplating what to do, we just went on Space Mountain again. Like, why not!? Its the best ride that's OUT OF THIS WORLD!

I just don't even remember what this ride pose is supposed to be.

Then we had Buzz Lightyear fastpasses to use! I rode with Surge and I KICKED HIS BUTT! YEAH YEAH! I think he felt a little bit bad about himself. Ah well, I'm just awesome.

After that, I gave Lindsay and her boyfriend the last three fastpasses. Then Shane, Cody, Sergio, and I headed back to Epcot to pick up my car! Once we got off my car we drove right to Disney's Hollywood Studios!

We went to Toy Story Mania! The line said 60 minutes but it only took about 20-25.

We got on the ride and I had MY SECOND BEST GAME OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I was on FIRE. It was amazing. SO MUCH ADRENALINE!!!!!!!!

Poor Sergio, I was killing him tonight. MUAHAHA I SHOW NO MERCY!

It was 9:58 pm when we got off the ride and the park closed at 10 pm. So what did we do? WE WENT ON AGAIN!!!!

I didn't do as well my second time around but I still broke 200,000! So that's a successful game in my book!

After that it was back to Patterson Court! We had SUCH a successful and fun day. I was so happy with everything we got accomplish!

I talked to Preston on the phone and then got ready for bed! Yucky distance. I hate it.
