Apologies if this has already been posted, but i read about it tonight and thought I should tell you all immediately ....

In 2011 the British Film Institue are celebrating the release of the 50th Disney animation - Tangled - with re-releasing the entire back catalogue on the big screen each weekend.

it starts with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and goes in chronological order, through all 50 films
:cool1:

I have no details of where but i'm about to go on www.bfi.org.uk to find out and make sure my diary is clear for a few:thumbsup2

oh wow! that is seriously exciting!! will definitely see a few if it's close enough :-)

Ooooh that's fab! I will be watching some too, if they are shown locally. :thumbsup2

They're being shown at the south bank BFI cinema (round the corner from London Waterloo station) :thumbsup2

Oh my god, how exciting! As a self confessed animation/film geek this makes me supremely happy! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 great post!!
I am so excited - just don't know which ones to pick :)

Yes unfortunately!? Unless cineworld start doing it too, as they do old films too, but i dont know if they are affiliated with BFI?

Ah, such a shame. I'm too far from London, but would have loved to have caught some of these.

We only have Cineworld, Empire and Odeon close by to us.

It's a shame it is only in London :sad2: but I hope all the people who can go will enjoy it :goodvibes

Very excited! I am trying to predict the weekend of some of my favourites!
Thanks for letting us know! :thumbsup2
