So, I want to do a smaller Christmas tree in my basement with Disney ornaments on it---anyone else do this? Pictures?

Also wondering about the Christmas merchandise in the parks? Is it different than what you can get from Disney shopping?

I don't have a "Disney tree" but I do have lots of Disney ornaments. I look for unique ones -- I really like the ones based on the small world characters (they no longer sell these).

The ornaments at WDW are different from what you'll find in the local Disney store or online, but the variety and quality have decreased over the years. It's often better to find something unique in an Epcot country.

Don't have one...yet. I'm slowly getting DH there, so hopefully next year. We have been collecting ornaments each time we go, usually at least a few with the year and then some that reflect the resort where we stayed.

I don't have one yet but next year will be our first year spending Christmas in our own apartment and we will be doing a Disney theme, just like DH promised. :) the ornaments that you buy at the theme parks and online are different. And I would say that the ones In theme parks are nicer. Would love to see pictures of a Disney Christmas too. :)

I do several themed trees and almost have enough to do a Disney one. Probably in the next year or two I will do a Disney tree.

I have a Disney tree. Our main tree that is in our family room has some Disney ornaments on it from our trips but my smaller one in my living room has all Disney ornaments on it.

This is supposed to be my first year for a Disney tree. Last year I bought two trees at 75% off after Christmas and put all the ornaments away in separate boxes knowing that I'd be working on a non-Disney one for our living room and a Disney one for our family room.

Not sure I'll actually put up either though...we're headed to WDW on December 24th. I may just settle for some gel cling-ons on the door of our BLT balcony :rotfl2:.

Over the course of the years we've accumulated enough ornaments to do 3 different trees, which we rotate. Yes, one of those is a purely Disney tree!

My Christmas tree is all Disney.. I don't have any pictures on this laptop, they are all on my desktop. I cannot get my desktop to turn on. I still have not taken it in to be repaired. I have had an all Disney tree for well over 15 years now... I have some very old ornaments as well as new ones.. I get a few every year to add on. I have a set of lights that are the Fab Five.. from years ago! I even decorate the house all Disney too. My tree topper is an Angel Minnie.. the skirt is Disney as well.. I have the original Monorails for around the tree, with the original Epcot Globe and Contemporary Resort. I also have one of the original Train sets too..

I have blow ups for outside my home that are all Disney too... but the last few years, I have been going up to Orlando for much of the holiday season and have not put the outside decorations up for fear they will be stolen while I was gone.

We don't have a strictly Disney tree, but my aunt and uncle do. It looks really cute. We just have a ton of Disney ornaments scattered amongst our non-Disney ornaments :goodvibes

Our main tree in our living room has many Disney ornaments, all that match the other ornaments on that tree.

The tree in our kid's living room is all Disney. We love Wilderness Lodge, its like our home away from home. Their tree is decorated with the "Mickey's tree farm" collection sold at WDW. We almost have the entire collection. On each trip to WDW (since my kids were 2 years old and 9 months old) I've let them pick an ornament, any ornament they've wanted. We also put those ornaments on their tree.

I had my very first Disney christmas tree last year, and I can't wait to put it back up this year, I just love it!!

The only non-Disney ornaments I have on my tree are the "baby's first". My kids are now 25, 23 & will be 19 a week from today. I will always put them up, they are the same and they have their birth picture in them. My Mom also got them each a Disney Baby's first to go with them as well :lmao:

I have a nearly all Disney tree. The only thing that isn't Disney are my fairy lights. They don't sell them over here in the UK, and although I have seen them in the past at WDW the plugs and voltage is different in the UK to the US.
All of my ornaments are Disney though ;)

Claire :)

We have 8 trees ranging from 4-14 feet plus one outside ( we're pretty big into Christmas). 3 of those are Disney themed. In my sons room is a 4 foot tall primarily Winnie the pooh with some extra wow characters. In my daughters room is a princess tree (it's pink, she loves it lol). Our entire family room is Disney with a 7 foot mouseketree, monorail, Disney tree skirt, stockings, decor, etc. However, we're getting too many ornaments to fit the tree, so I think were gnu to have to start looking for maybe a 9 foot...

Jik anyone's wondering, all our trees are "themed" in our lr is a 9 foot tree wit all homemade and antique ornaments, in our foyer is a 14 foot tree in the curve of our staircase all gold, crystal and white, in our media room is a tree that we call "ice" all cool blue and bing, in our guest room is a Texas tree, in our room it's our family tree (all covered in pics of our family through the years)

It is a seven foot tree with about 400 Disney ornaments (only Disney ornaments), Disney tree skirt and only Disney wraping paper. We also have a Disney yard at Christmas and a Dept. 56 Disney Christmas village. Here is a link....I'll try to get a couple of more pictures of the tree and post them later.

I would love to be living next to your house around christmas... :goodvibes

The closest we have right now is DD7's Princess Christmas tree. It's all princess ornaments with most of those being Disney Princesses. Last year after Christmas I bought lots of the Mickey Christmas Village on sale 1/2 off and bought every Disney ornament I could find for hardly anything. I will buy more this year after Christmas and I think we will have enough for an all Disney Christmas tree next year!
