First time to Disneyland and was wondering if there is a Character Warehouse for Disney in the area around Disneyland and does anyone know what there hours are if there is one?

There is one about 15 min from DisneyLand, but we went to it in Nov. They didn't have nuch stuff. It is not great like in Fla. We go there all the time and find all kinds of stuff.

The one on Harbor in Fullerton seems to be the only permanent one. Otherwise they usually pop up at different times of the year in different places. The one closest to me usually opens up around Oct-Nov and has a lot of good stuff if you're looking for clothing. I think that's the time when Disney cleans out all of it's old stock to send to these warehouses.

The Harbor Blvd. one is highly variable; I've gotten great stuff there and seen it full of a wide variety of merchandise, and I've gone in to find it with very little in stock. It is on Harbor, just north of the 91 Fwy, on the east side of the street; I think it is in the Orangefair mall (basically a strip mall). However, just north of it (just across the street to the north?) there's an In 'N Out, so it is a great place to stop before getting lunch or dinner at this CA institution ::yes::

This might sound like a dumb question, but what is a character warehouse? What do they have there exactly?

Thanks.:)

CHaracter Warehouse is an outlet store for the stuff that didn't sell in the parks...
The two in FL are outstanding...I've found stuff that I've seen the day before in the park at less than half the price...always lots of choices.
The one in CA on Harbor is variable...I've seen some great prices on stuff (got one of the LE watches at Xmas for $30 that were over $200 in the park) and I've seen some stuff not marked down very much at all (kids sweatshirts for $30 that were $40 in the park).

My recommendation, though, is definitely check it out if you are in the area as we ALWAYS buy our glowing stuff for the night parades at the Character Warehouses and my kids get their Halloween costumes this time of year there.
