It had to be the same night - Demi's wearing the same hat! Interesting how they filmed it with a different background than the DC Games red carpet event.
DITTO!In the end, Disney will do what they want to do and I think we will all appreciate it as we did this year. Free concert free admission free opportunities. Really you could not ask for more. I would like a fanfest no matter how they do it. If I can go I will if I cant I wont. I just hope they do it again next year and it is open to the public if it is here. My daughter had a blast.
yeah!
its soo cool that tons of stars... even the big ones like the jonas brothers and miley cyrus come out to have fun!

DITTO!The reason I was not the least bit disappointed with DCG 2007 or DCG 2008 is because I went into each event with reasonable expectations based on the information Disney had given me.For example,Disney told me the view of the outfield would be obstructed this year,so I expected that situation and went as far as possible down the left field and fight field lines where I could basically see as much as I could last year. The video feed to the big screens was operational by Tuesday which provided another avenue for viewing the outfield.I also knew what the participation of JB Nation would mean BEFORE I arrived and just made the best of that situation. The bottom line for me has always been that I am an invited spectator at a Television taping and have not been PROMISED autographs, time with Stars, etc, etc.IMHO,Disney has done a GREAT job of trying to explain what the tapings are like and to lower expectations to a reasonable level.DCG are FREE and expectations are not "pumped up" by Disney,so as long as they are open to the public,I will attend and be very happy that I am ALLOWED to attend!
Again,JMHO!

Joe... don't assume that any comment was directed to you because it was not... if it were I would have PMed you or noted you.....
Do you think that this link will get hammered when the games air? It should be exciting to tell our stories again....
Maybe we should be like no they were miserable dont go..then in o9 it will be nothing but a sea of lime green....just a thought..I know that wont work. All they have to do is be able to read and they'll know. Umm.. I think if that thursday was an indication of crowds to come I am def in for fanfest...hahahaha! NO ONE DOES RICO LIKE RRRRRRRIIIICCCCOOO.....sorry had to do it...

Who else did you see in the Parks besides Cole and Dylan Sprouse?Last year I only ran into a few of the DC Stars once in a Park, but this year it seemed like they were EVERYWHERE!I had no idea this was even happening we were in Disney and kept running the kids from the different shows. I was wondering what was going on and had to ask a cast member why they were all there . I am in the "all access" thing they were doing . I was outside of the TOT and ran I mean "RAN" into the twins from that show I think it is called Zack and Cody . I called my niece at home to tell her I was texting a picture to her moms phone of me and those boys . She was thrilled I was still trying to figure out who was who![]()
WOW!Those are some great pictures! What's that song - life's what you make it, so let's make it rock! LOL
I think some of the most fun we had was standing by the gate as the stars' cars were leaving. We were the only people there on Tuesday. On Thursday there and there was one other group with us. We had a blast waving to the stars as the passed - and to the crew! Every time a crew member came out we cheered for them like they were stars and they just lit up! In retrospect, I wish we had made a poster for the crew - they really enjoyed our cheering. They laughed and joked with us "no autographs, please".Actually, one crew member did sign my 9 year old's autograph book. If we could tell by what they were carrying we cheered for their specific jobs "Woohoo for the hair people!" "Woohoo for the concession people!" LOL
On Tuesday Jason Earles was the only one to stop and talk to us. He asked the kids if they had gotten his autograph inside (they had). On Thursday he high fived everyone - including my husband and me and even a few reluctant adults "come on man, you're standing there, you gotta show me some love!" LOL On Thursday a whole bunch of stars interacted with us - Alyson Stoner, Chelsea Staub, Martin Barlan from DC France. And, best of all - Joe Jonas "hey guys, how's it going?"

now it's on Alyson Stoner's Official Myspace. Plus, it showed up on a teeny bopper celebrity blog - oceanup.typepad.com. I showed it to my 15 year old and she was looking at the pictures - there were a half dozen or so and when I scrolled down to the last one she said, cool - WHOA that's my hand she's slapping! LOL http://oceanup.typepad.com/oceanup/2008/05/alyson-stoner-a.html#more
And, I am so kicking myself for not having my camera on continuous when the JoBros went by - my camera will take multiple pix in a row. If only hindsight were foresight...
