so i'm not bashing them or anything, they are so talented! they should just stick to singing.

No, I was just watching to listen to the songs. The whole plot line was typical DCOM stuff, but I did enjoy the music.

Jonas Brothers Return for Camp Rock Sequel????

The Disney Channel is set to have the The Jonas Brothers return to go into production on a sequel to Camp Rock in late spring or summer 2009, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Although Camp Rock averaged 8.9 million viewers, according to the Disney Channel, it still didn’t top High School Musical 2. Camp Rock did, however, beat out the original High School Musical which debuted to 7.8 million viewers. HSM2 broke records for a cable premiere, grabbing 17.2 million in its August 2007 debut.

Camp Rock made the Disney Channel the number one network in its 8 p.m. slot, out-rating runner-up CBS by more than 3 million viewers. It was also top among kids 6 to 11 with 3.5 million viewers and tweens 9 to 14 with 3.4 million viewers.

The Camp Rock sequel will be pending a script that’s in development as well as the cast members’ busy schedules.

Demi will also "qualify" for DCG 2009 because of Welcome to Mollywood,so she will be a "triple-qualifier".The first report I "heard" concerning the date for filming of CR2 was "mid-year of 2009" and now with the "late spring or summer 2009" announcement,it appears there is a good chance CR2 will not begin filming until after DCG 2009.I am still somewhat concerned that the CR2 Cast may miss DCG 2009 because of CR2 filming in the same way that the HSM3 Cast misssed DCG 2008 because of the "late spring" possibility mentioned,but I think Disney will reallly try to schedule filming so that the CR2 Cast can be there.Just as it was not the same without the HSM3 Cast at DCG 2008,it would not be the same without the CR2 Cast at DCG 2009!

Guess the whole disney idea of no pictures and keeping things under wraps so no one knows teams or events or concert footage did not really pan out. It seems that the only people who suffered were the ones who listened. Not to start a war but I wanted to say something about it.
Otherwise Camp Rock well....Rocked! Glad everyone enjoyed it. Lots going on this year. Camp Rock, J.O.N.A.S., DC Games, Mileys new album, Jonas new album, HSM3. Looks like there will lots of stuff to hold us over to dc games 2009!

I don't think the person who has that Photobucket account actually took the pictures. Most of those pictures seem to be of professional quality. I think they are press pictures that got leaked. I've seen MANY of them on other sites. Plus, a lot of the stars also took pictures and posted them on their web sites - Chelsea Staub and Alyson Stoner both did.

Joe I know what you mean and I agree 100%. It frustrated me that SO many people took pics of things they were asked not to... and although they did allow me to take in my camera, as promised I did not take ANY of the games or field, only of my kids in that back area as I had agreed... there is something to be said for doing as you promise and for living up to your agreements... we did not get one single pic of the concert, but my daughter would not trade her VIP spot for a whole photo album of pics and we were able to pull some professional pics from the web as mahip stated too.

As for the JB and DCG '09... I love those kids and am so glad my kids like them... they are squeaky clean and wholesome and love God and family (so far anyway LOL) and I couldn't be happier about role models for my kids BUT... as much as I sing their praises, I kind of HOPE that they are NOT at the games next year... I've decided that the majority of what was wrong THIS year as compared to last was them... by that I mean they had become SO big and SO loved, admired and appreciated that the fruit loops came out and in massive numbers... perhaps if they are off filming during next year's games it won't be so screamy, pushy and down right scary...and we can pay to subject ourselves to Jonasmania when they appear in concert LOL

My whole house has been sick, (me included) and I am just trying to work out of that funk so hang in there on the Yahoo Group everyone I'll get it going soon...
