I check Mitchel's blog from time to time and was checking to see if there was anything about Metro Station because my dd wants to see them when we are in Dallas or when they are near us. Anyway, I found this from 06/18 on http://mitchel-musso.com/

Timothy, who has recently seen commercials on the Disney Channel for the upcoming Disney Channel Games, wanted to know how Musso liked taking part in them.

“It’s very cool,” he said. “I didn’t plan on being there, but the head of Disney said ‘You will be there,’ so I was there.”

Musso got to be a team captain. “It was very cool,” he said. “The games are more intense this year. It’s like ‘Survivor.’” Which is on after all three of the reporters’ bedtimes, but they got the idea.

And if these three were nervous before they met Musso, their jaws truly dropped when he mentioned that Miley Cyrus and Disney pop idols the Jonas Brothers were also at the games, as if being in the same room with someone one step removed from such tween royalty was too much for their young brains to process.


Gosh, I think I am really grasping how lucky we were to be able to go to the games and the concert. And for my dd's to get autographs and hugs! The Stars aren't gods or anything, but to think that so few people got to go, and we were some of those is starting to blow my mind! I'm thinking that if we are lucky enough to get any tickets next year (assuming Disney will be able to offer it to the public), I won't complain if we get the field! Heck, I won't complain if we don't get anything. I'll be disappointed, but we will have at least gotten to go to the '08 Games. Then I'll make a reservation at AK for the week! JK!

Yes,it really is a BIG deal for Disney Channel fans to be able to attend the Disney Chanel Games. As I have said before it is the only time and place when so many of them are together.I think we will be reminded again what a special week it is when we see our DCG 2008 "friends" Demi,Kevin,Alyson,Meaghan,Nick,Joe,Jasmine,etc. on television all weekend in Camp Rock!Everytime I wear my DCG 2008 shirt people stop me and are in "awe" that I was there. You are so right-we were very fortunate to be there.

How fun! I was at WDW when HSM2 debuted and they did the same thing at some of the Resorts.That will be so great for you to watch CR at FW!Be sure to give us a report!

Yeah the acting wasn't very good, but I love the songs, they're decent. I just got back from Get Smart. Now that's a good movie. Totally non-Disney related, but that's what I did, since I saw CR on Tuesday!

Do you mean you didn't like the character Tess Tyler or Meaghan's acting or both?You weren't SUPPOSED to like Tess Tyler-she is the antagonist.

I went to an Aly&AJ concert Friday night and only watched part of Camp Rock after I got home Friday night and a little more during the day Saturday so last night was the first time I saw the complete movie.I think it definitely delivered BIG as evidenced by the numbers reported by Hal Boedeker. I am so happy for all of our DCG 2008 "friends". Some of my favorite moments were the reaction of Mitchie when Tess first steps out of her Limousine at Camp Rock with her hair blowing in the wind-"Whoa!",when Mitchie "disguises" herself with flour and when all of the CR girls were "singing" for Shane to see if they were "the girl". I have to say I LOVED Meaghan's portayal of Tess Tyler.I think she did as good of a job portraying the antagonist with Tess as Ashley did with Sharpay.Way to go Meaghan!I think last night's ratings on ABC are going to be HUGE! Are you going to watch CR again tonight on ABC Family?By the way,I think they saved "THE KISS" for Camp Rock 2!

BUT, what the heck is everyone talking about posters being handed out at the concert? I never got one I only got 1 of the glowsticks and that was luck cause the guy was just throwin them, i had to share with my 10 year old cousin But i didn't mind it... awww i want a poster! If anyone has any extras i'd love one! But if not i totally understand! Well this thread has really gotten big since my last DIS login.. my gosh! :O

HI! The ushers were handing out DCG 2008 posters to DCG 2008 Concert-goers as they left Champion Stadium after the Concert.The poster has the team names and team members listed on it.The DCG 2007 poster was very similar except that it also had reproductions of the DCG 2007 Stars autographs on it.I put my posters in frames and they look really nice.I hope someone has an extra one they can send you.
