disney car care center?

we are staying outside of disney for a week to do the rest of orlando. we are renting from national and will be returning car to the car care center. I know there is a shuttle that will take you to your disney resort. my questions are do you need to call and reserve a spot on the shuttle, and would this shuttle handle 11 people and our luggage or should we drop off excess "baggage" at the resort.

My advice is to drop off the luggage and the majority of the party at the resort before you return the car. Those dropped at the resort can check in and bell services can take care of the luggage for you.

As far as I know, you do not have to call and reserve a spot on the shuttle. (Actually, I don't think that you can anyway). IIRC, the shuttle isn't big enough to handle 11 people and their luggage on one trip. Even if it could, I would think that it would be easier to let the resort handle the luggage (do you really want to transfer all that luggage more times than you absolutely have to?).
