I enjoyed DLP when we went in 1998 but it was so different to what it is today and we also visited Paris with all it had to offer. My husband says he will never be back to DLP but my daughter would like to take the kids to meet Mickey while they’re still young and for her it’s so much easier/affordable to do a short trip there so like you we will wait and see what the next few years bring. It’s so hard though isn’t it.

We really loved our time in Paris. Plus the river cruise was spectacular!!! It wasn't that there weren't parts of DLP that I enjoyed, it's just that it wasn't my "bubble". You know.... sometimes I feel silly being upset over what is essentially a first world problem. I have a happy life with my family, my career, many places to travel to etc etc. I just miss my happy place.

ETA my youngest son found a playlist of the music from World Showcase for me to listen to. I am currently heading over the bridge from France to the UK

Definitely hard...but if we didn't have principles we stood up for, what kind of people would we be. I love that your son found the World Showcase music for you. I will have to look that up.

I’ll see if I can send you the link though have to admit sometimes technology and I don’t get along

I am totally with you on this. We are very lucky people indeed but that doesn’t mean we don’t feel a wee bit sad too
