We really loved our time in Paris. Plus the river cruise was spectacular!!! It wasn't that there weren't parts of DLP that I enjoyed, it's just that it wasn't my "bubble". You know.... sometimes I feel silly being upset over what is essentially a first world problem. I have a happy life with my family, my career, many places to travel to etc etc. I just miss my happy place.I enjoyed DLP when we went in 1998 but it was so different to what it is today and we also visited Paris with all it had to offer. My husband says he will never be back to DLP but my daughter would like to take the kids to meet Mickey while they’re still young and for her it’s so much easier/affordable to do a short trip there so like you we will wait and see what the next few years bring. It’s so hard though isn’t it.
Definitely hard...but if we didn't have principles we stood up for, what kind of people would we be. I love that your son found the World Showcase music for you. I will have to look that up.Sometimes being a grown up and standing by your principles is hard! Sending love
ETA my youngest son found a playlist of the music from World Showcase for me to listen to. I am currently heading over the bridge from France to the UK![]()
