Lucky for me there's only 4 large malls within a 15 mile radius of where I live that he could have seen it. :

I must say that i really miss the mall in NJ. the mall near Virginia Beach stink!!! :guilty:

That is why when we come home Memorial day weekend we are going to shopping for our wedding and honeymoon. There is no sales tax in NJ. Virginia Taxes you on clothes!!!! :furious:

New Jersey may have it's issues but my lord they have their priorities straight!!! Taxing on clothing purchases is just so wrong on so many levels!! I love the massive amount of mall choices here...two weekends ago I got really cute little white skirt and when I got home I realize that there was a hole in it! But the mall we were just at (The Mall at Short Hills...home of the "Count the Louis Vuitton bag" game...which I invented! ;) :rotfl: ) was closed and I was bummed b/c I really like this skirt...so Jason gets on the phone and starts calling malls that were open later to see if they have the store that has the skirt...we called Livingston Mall and Rockaway and The Garden State Plaza...and Palisades (which is actually in Nyack New York, but close enough that it counts!) We ended up going to the Rockaway mall and I got my skirt!! The only bad thing about most malls around here is that Short Hills and icky Willowbrook are the only malls that have a Bloomingdales! There is something wrong with that!!!

Only me...going on for ages about a mall!!! but hey, I gotta be me!! ;) :cheer2: love ya girlies!! :cheer2:

Hey there Littlelady - there is a Bloomingdale's at the Riverside Square Mall in Hackensack, NJ. That is another mall where you can make a game of counting the Louis Vuitton bags... :p there's also a Sak's Fifth Avenue there... it's fun to walk through... and when you're ready to eat dinner, there's a Cheesecake Factory... yummy... :goodvibes

Hey there! I am a Jersey bride from Cape May. I live in PA where my fiance lives but my roots are at the Jersey shore. I will be getting married in March of next year at Disney.

Boy, we Jersey girls sure know our malls!

I can see the Garden State Plaza from where I work, and it's tempting during the lunch hour!

I love the Cheesecake Factory at Riverside, but the wait can be outrageous! One random Wednesday night a couple of years ago my friend and I drank...I mean waited for 3 hours. Craziness.

I just went to cheesecake factory for brunch on sunday! I could walk there from our house :)
ahh malls!

Oh my word the CHEESECAKE FACTORY!!!! Jason and I were just there at Palisades and it's so easy to spend over $100 just drinking and eating their marvelous food!! (Oscar's barbeque sandwhich for me!!!! Oh my WORD!) And the Godiva cheesecake...I could just WALLOW IN IT!!! Oh lord help me my dress will NOT fit! :rotfl: And y'know it's easy to get chubby...I am determined to weigh LESS than I weighed when I bought my dress, just in case...when I bought the dress the lady was so "Oh you are SO TEENSY!!" I would be so mortified if she said "oh, did we put on some weight?" :rotfl2: I'd hate to have to punch somebody so close to my wedding...it's not lady like! ;)

Oh I am SO ready for the honeymoon, the wedding is driving me INSANE!

smooches to all princess: :wizard:

Is Hackensack a long way from Morris County?! If there is a Bloomies within a 50 mile radius I need to go there!!! Short Hills and Willowbrook are still in the vicinity of the ex and I do NOT want to run into him while I'm getting my bloomies fix! That would totally kill my buzz!!!

love ya ladies... :cheer2:

It is not that fall at all!!! I grew up in Mine Hill...(if you know where that is!) and it is about 30 to 45 minute drive. You can just take route 80 all the way until you see the garden state parkway ( Like you are going to garden state mall) hop on the parkway north. the second exit is Route 4 east. Take that a couple of miles and Riverside Square will be on your left. :moped:

I had an Apartment in Paramus!! (that is how I know.. I know all of North Jersey really good. I am like a walking map!) :woohoo:

:guilty: Ok Jersey girl needing to VENT~
I just got my budget from the florist, and OH MY!
I honestly cannot believe the prices we were quoted!
Is anyone else in this boat??? I can't believe how much this wedding is going to cost! We invited 200 people figuring tons of people wont come.. and suprise!! we already have 125 def coming. i may have a meltdown, i never believed people when they said planning a wedding is stressful! ARG! ( think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts)

Oh kit honey, how I hear you!!! I had a total crying fit b/c the tent the wedding coordinator ordered for the lawn was only big enough to cover the guests and not the archway and Jason and I...how much freaking sense does THAT MAKE?! Hello....BRIDE...VIP...needs to be covered!!! ;) And to fix the mistake and order tent extension poles will cost an extra $200...we haven't even LOOKED at flowers yet. :sad2: Seriously though, it seems like every single person out there wants to dip into our pockets for rediculous amounts of money just b/c the word WEDDING is attached to their services! I have gotten to the point that I would rather get hitched in an office down town and spend the money on a month long honeymoon...and we'd STILL have money left over!!!

Wedding planning is more than stressful...it's an overwhelming anxiety producing sanity sucking SIEGE!!!! :)

:grouphug: to you lovey...we are all so there with ya!!!

PS-how funny is my countdown ticker...3 months 4 weeks...ummmm isn't that 4 months?! :rotfl:

Thanks for the support! I guess we will just have to scale back on the centerpieces :confused3
Thats where all the money is coming from - I am glad all the people we love are going to be here on our special day, and I know in years to come we are going to be so very glad we had the day we did. So i guess I should just suck it up and get rid of some of the glitz. It's really nice to have this board here to vent on!! How is planning going for everyone else??

Hey ladies!!! Just checking in with my Jersey girls!! Hope all is well...

How go the wedding plans everyone? I'm about to pull my hair out with the invitations guy...should have been here three weeks ago but somehow the "communication" between emails is slow... :rolleyes2 yeah right...whatevas...now where did I put Tony Sopranos number... :furious:

hope all is well ladies!!

:grouphug: hugs!!!

:wizard: Speaking of invitations...I just got 3 different quotes for between $1100-$1500 dollar! :lmao: That's only 70 invites with FLAT printing (granted they are customized complicated pocketfold)! Yuck. North Jersey prices rear their ugly heads again. :furious:

So after discussing this with my fiance, we decided to order the material and make them ourselves. I'd rather have great invitations with flat printing than a plain white flat card with raised printing. I'm sure the ettiquette gods are rolling over in their graves. But I figure if we are getting married in the unconventional place called Disney World, so why care about engraved invites? We are going to get a color laser printer and all the supplies, and have at it! I'll be able to do everything (invites, programs, menues, etc.) exactly the way I want it for less than the professionally quoted invites.

So after all this rambling, believe me that I understand the frustration with the invite guy! Sending you pixie dust that you'll get yours soon!

Hey NJ girls! Ok, so I am not living in NJ anymore :sad1: I stayed in SC after I went to school there. I grew up in Holmdel, NJ and it is wonderful to see so many NJ Disney brides :)

Jen
