Hmm, this is becoming a habit again. But I had to check something out on the www and look where I ended up! OK, today I did get the fabric for the duvet cover top, so I think I will cut it out tomorrow and maybe even get it sewn together. THen I gotta figure out what to use for the bottom of it. I don't want it to be slippery, it's the only blanket on the bed, and when the hot flashes pass, you gotta cover up. And DH keeps the AC on 78 and I am always freezing at night (except when I flash......sigh) And the beads I ordered from the www on Tuesday came this evening, they are for the lamps I bought that needed some little additions. Those will be glued on tomorrow, I will post B and A pictures. And tomorrow night we are going to a concert. Ringo Starr and the All Star Band, except I only know one of the All Stars, Shelia E, she plas some mean percussion. After that, DH will have seen 3 of the Beatles, he of course never got to see the Fab 4 or John Lennon (his fav), but he is happy. Should I wear a dress, capris or shorts?
Gail, that is a nice van. They come in handy for families. I missed out on that era, when DS was young, there was no such thing as a mini van, and when they came out, he was not into anything that required being squired around. By the time he had his first full drum set, I had a station wagon, (Escort) they fit in the back.
Carol and Diane, I agree, plumbing fixtures can be fun, and just as expensive as a few van payments. DOn't give me the idea to remodel my master bath, even tho it needs it, I just dread the thought. Carol, I am glad it was not you in the intersection. I hate even fender benders.
Melissa (MP) Please come to my house when you have organised yours. I can use the help. And I will take you to my brothers church, so you can see how the Episcopals in AZ live! And if he is preaching, you can compare his methods to your local guy. He gives his sermons from the floor, uses a wireless mike and walks aroung the congregation. I find it odd, but maybe that's the way it is now a days.
Alan, I am sure that when your girls decide what they want to do, they will change their minds a few times, just when you think you have it all planned out, Juliard and Carnegie Hall, they will decide that Barrel Racing is the only thing to do!
Melissa (G) - Be patient, the right thing will happen. Enjoy your trip to ROmania, it sounds great.
Twins, E, and Lars - You all are so busy, I don't know how you do it! Riddling while the meister is away. I wish I was as skinny as that nekkid bird....................
Nothing in the world of jobs for me. I was at the accountants office yesterday, she is looking for help, but wants to hire a high schooler for afternoons only. Good luck to her. Hopefully my resume will we done next week, and then I can shop it around, there are a lot of jobs available, but "You must submit your resume" sheesh, even for entry level. Oh well, I stilll have 4 moths before I will be on the streets begging!
Hail to the Redskins!!!! What a great way to start football season for us die hard Skins fans. Probably the only game we will see this year, unless they make it to TV out here, which they usually don't. Of course, if they get to the Super Bowl, this will be a happy house!
See you all later, maybe even tomorrow.
