Evening Angels and Alan!

Picked up my new grill after my DS got home from school. It just fit in the van. I managed to get it out by myself and re-assemble the lid which had to come off to bring it home. I pulled it into the backyard and put it where the old one was. I told my DH about the stove but not the grill when I talked to him at work. He was rather shocked when he came home! I told him the other day that our grill was looking like crap, and he told me to go buy one, and all us wives know we listen to our husbands!!!

Gaspode - CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR HOUSE!!!!!! I had a feeling she was sorta bluffing you - great call on being sneaky! I want to come over when the new house is all fixed up!

Donna - great to see you here. come and chat w/ us whenever you get a chance.

Alan - you're welcome anytime to come on over and cook (dinner)!

Can't possibly do a full catch up since I haven't been here all week ....... taking a break not so much from the DIS but night computer time in general.... I'm on all day at work and lately haven't been in the mood to do a double shift But whenever I'm away for a little while I find myself wondering what you've all been up to and have to check in ......

Community chorus started on Monday .. it was good to get back, but I always find it amusing singing christmas songs in September..........

Another great night of bowling last night ... I'm trying to figure out who's been taking over my body while I've been at the alleys the past couple of weeks .....I had a 175 - 4 pins shy of my highest game ever !

MP, you forgot that we are getting anew toilet.

I went to the high school before AND after band practice to go through the uniform closet with DD. The drum major always dresses a little differently so we were looking at what was available. I think we are going to order a white shirt for her to wear. I am looking forward to the first game for them next Friday.

I knew I left out something. Carol's new toilet and also Alan's new paint and brushes.

I've enjoyed getting to know all of you, too. Glad you guys find me inspirational. I feel like I'm very lucky to have my health back and to have such good friends and a wonderful supportive family. I hope to be there for any of you, should the time come that you need a friend.

I got a mosquito bite on my left eyelid today. It doesn't itch or hurt much, but it's most annoying. I may only have one eye tomorrow. Amy says I'll look like a pirate. LOL!

Wow, Melissa. You'll be moving soon. Isn't that exciting? And when do you go on vacation?

We had Scouts tonight. Boy am I glad that tomorrow is Friday. I'm ready for the weekend. This has been a hectic week.

Merry-I am sending you extra {{{hugs}}}!! I can only imagine what you were feeling 2 years ago. Two of my closest friends faced & triumphed over breast cancer! I am very proud of them & of you!! One of my friends was dealing with it 2 summers ago also. I went to radiation treatments with her almosty everyday & was so amazed by how she handled it.{{{hugs}}}

Good morning everyone. (I am not going to list names and miss someone.)

I am glad today is Friday. It has been a busy week. I am ready for a break, although the weekend is pretty well booked up. Tomorrow I am going to Baltimore to help my mom. Sunday is church then DD and I are face painting at the church's booth at the Community Days. I am NOT artistic so expect to see a lot of kids with questionable blobs on their faces. At least I will try.
