Well, a quick update... we went to look at two houses today, both are no hopers really... well the second one was okay but a lot smaller than the one we still *really* want. Plus, neither were in the right area at all. *sigh* We got a call late from our 'seller' to say the other lady has got a second mortgage agreed so do we want to up our offer. I would like to think we will find something better etc but to be honest, the house is exactly what we want, better and even if we up our offer, still cheaper than anything out there so we are going to fight for it up to a degree... so we will put a higher offer in tomorrow but that is it, no bidding wars, take it or leave it! I'll let you know how we get on.

My DH has a mouthpiece that he uses when camping that stops him from snoring. It's kind of like a retainer only it throws your lower jaw forward. He doesn't use it at home because he has a CPAP, but the Scouts claim it makes a world of difference. If you are interested, I'll try to find out what it's called.

I want to see the new furniture. I'm still so jealous. Can't wait til I can get rid of my couch. It's a dinosaur. Til the time comes I can dream and look at yours.

Happy 20th Kimmar!!!! DH & I met at a wedding 20 years ago in May so 1983 was a good year for us too. Our anniversary is Sept. 20th when we'll celebrate 17 years.

Gee, I didn't get an e-mail from John....guess he likes other Angels better.... Glad to hear all is well with him and hope he's back with us soon.

Melissa, that sounds like a sensible plan for the house you really want. Up the offer but within your limits and don't turn it into a bidding war. I wouldn't be too surprised if once you raise your bid the other woman drops out of the picture. Good luck!

My DH stayed home today and alas, didn't cook any dinner for us. Good excuse to go to the OLIVE GARDEN! They are offering the all you can eat pasta bowl for $7.95. Can't beat that. Thanks goodness the kids love that place.

CS, I would go for a black leather with some silver on it. Or black rubber, they are very in style. I like leather better, because is wears better. Check stores like Pac Sun, or Rage.

Kimmar, so sorry I missed your birthday. And anniversary! I hope the anniversary more than made up for the birthday faux pas. I never mind cooking for my birthday, DH is not a good cook and my son lives in GA, so he can't cook for me. Although he is much better than I am!

Carol-Subway is Megan's favorite fast food type of restaurant! She always wants to go there.

Lorraine-I LOVE Olive Garden......the closest one is 1/2 hour away so I don't get there too much.
