Disney After Dark

I'm planning a trip to CA to visit relatives next spring and I am want to work in a trip to DL. We went every year or two when I was a kid, but it was always get up at dawn, drive 4 hours to get to Disney, cram in everything we could, leave as it started getting dark, drive 4 hours back home. (I don't see how my parents did it, frankly.) I got to spend 1 day at Disney 15 years ago when I was there for a conference, but again had to leave 5:00

The upshot is I have never seen any parades or fireworks. And that was several decades ago in any case. What's the must see things after dark these days?

Well, there are always fireworks, Fantasmic, and World of Color (at DCA). All of those are some excellent nighttime entertainment.

I would also recommend riding certain rides at night too.

Big Thunder Mountain and Jungle Cruise are much better at night, in my opinion.

All of the above, but just seeing the place lit up at night is great by itself. If you're there on a Saturday night they have a swing band at Plaza Gardens.

Well, there are always fireworks, Fantasmic, and World of Color (at DCA). All of those are some excellent nighttime entertainment.

Even if you see the Fantamic and Fireworks at WDW, they are not as good as at Disnelany and of course there is no World of Color at WDW.

It's hard to say for next spring but there may be some evening shows, bands or something in both DL and DCA because they strive to pull in people for the evening at DLR.

My favorite area at night is Adventureland! With the lanterns and jungle music playing...I love it! Fantasyland is another favorite of mine at night. The teacups are especially charming at night with the colored lanterns above.
