Disney 65 episode rule

disney Cinemagic is worse... because They are not showing old Toons and thats what toon disney did do, and it shown toons, And loads of them. can't they have toon disney and disney cinemagic, have movies on cinemagic and loads of toons on toon disney

Radio Disney didn't catch on over here. Was only on the TV or on the internet. Toon Disney was changed to Disney's Cinemagic which, imo, is much better.

Well, if you are that big into Radio Disney, radiodisney.com here in the states aires the radio live on the internet.

What type of movies does the Cineamagic show? Like released into theaters movies or DCOM?

in the uk...
They show Movies like:
Fox and the Hound
fox and the hound 2
kim possible: a stitch in time
kim possible: so the drama
recess taking the 5th grade

and so on...

It shows the theatre movies and Direct-to-DVD movies. Right now, Cool Runnings is on. Shows about 3-4 movies on a weekday, and more on the weekends.

This is the list of shows on Toon Disney in the USA right now.

American Dragon: Jake Long
The Emperor's New School
Goof Troop
House of Mouse
The Legend of Tarzan
Lilo & Stitch: The Series
Kim Possible
The Proud Family
Recess
Shaun The Sheep
The Replacements
Timon and Pumbaa
The Weekenders

Only the Weekenders and Goof Troop aren't shown over here (Shaun the Sheep is on CBBC)

Then we also have:
101 Dalmations: the Series
Aladdin
Brandy & Mr Whiskers
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
Classic Toons
Dave the Barbarian (supposedly)
Hercules
Lloyd in Space
Little Mermaid

So, still shows alot of shows from Toon Disney.

Now the ones i have bolded, Are not avalible in The UK After Toon disney left, Also, why would STS be on Disney? (Shaun the sheep = STS

Well, I liked the old toon disney because twice a month they would show Kim possible all day!!! Woo!!! Miss that :headache: :headache: :headache: :goodvibes

for the most part the 65 episode rule is good.

Kim Possible went wayyy to long...

All the fans of those shows for the most part grew up and away from those shows thus they lost there ratings.

One show that actualy was cut of at 65 that i loved was Lilo and Stich.

A few shows have been extended due to fan pressure, not that many... the ones that were cut down in there prime is really anti-creative, not to mention, anti-business. the Disney 65 episode rule was useful until the time of around 1992, and after which it became self destructive, a fact which has not changed with the passing of time.

now the latest high rated programs to be cancelled due to the sixty five episode policy is Lilo and Stitch the Series and Kim possible. and just so you know, Kim possible is Great and all my friends and me love it and it really reflects to the life of teenagers, helping them get through problems like:

  • Love
  • hate
  • anti-crime
  • boyfriends/girlfriends
  • curiosity
  • power
  • evil
  • being guilty
  • handling guilt
  • fighting crime
  • and lots more... including fun and comedy
We've always believed that a show's fate should be determined by the fans, not a "soulless" company. As long as Kim is popular it should continue to be made. And we invite everyone who enjoys Kim Possible to join our cause. A fight for season five may or may not happen in the future, but we hope to be ready for it should that time come.

also, i love Lilo and stitch too, especially stitch, he looks like a blue boy hit by the front of a bus.

saving TV shows is a really stupid thing to put your time & energy into !

try something that has meaning.. like enviroment , the war , suffering countries , charity work ect .

this just struck me as.. wierd that you care so much haha .

sorry if i came off as mean.
i didnt mean it that way !

lol I get what you mean, though!

Oh wait. It's Disney. Everything has to be happy. Can't talk about controversial issues (ie teen pregnancy, war, homosexuality, etc)

Secret Life of the American Teenager
ANTM
Zoey 101

Yeahhh I'm soooooo cool lol

Oh my~ I had no idea that there was a 65 episode rule. Do you think they'll do that with like Hannah Montana (i don't like it), since it's SO big? That's really weird. People would still like the shows if they were still on.
I LOVED the Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and I was really mad when they stopped making new episodes. It's sad....
And I LOVED Lizzie McGuire..that was a good show too, but I heard she wanted more money, not because of the 65 episode rule.
