Disney 5X reward program, different this time-UPDATED

Do you know if you have to receive the mailing to get this? I have had the card from the beginning and never have received these offers. Wondered if I called would they give it to me?

I just called and its not being offered to me right now.. he said that its offered to different people at different times of the year.. which pretty much stinks!

I got my postcard on Monday of this week. It states all I have to spend is $250 on one or all the categories each month and then I'll receive the 5X the points! We will be ordering airline tickets for our disney trip during this time period. I can't wait

I did not get a postcard ... but on Thursday (10/01) I received an email about it. The email says, "Once you enroll, for every eligible dollar your spend over $1,000 each month in a single category or a comibination of those listed below, you'll accumulate Disney Dream Rewards Dollars at 5X the regular rate", then lists the categories of : Dining, Gas, Groceries, and Airline purchases.

I did enroll, but often my charges (grocery, gas, dining) come through as "Other".... very frustrating, oh well.....

I called Mon when I saw the offer on the boards. I haven't received one in a few quarters, but they told me on the phone that I had it offered to me Oct 1-Dec 31 for any purchases over 250/month and a limit of 200 bonus dollars. I did get the card in the mail the next day and on Oct 1 an email from Disney Visa. While on the phone the CM was able to give my code to be able to sign up and she also told me that the mailing went out on Sept 10!! It sure took a long time to get to me. I am happy I received this offer but wish I had know before I charged about 3,500 in Sept!! I could have waited and them got all that bonus!
