If you were interested in seeing the show, I suspect most of us are flexible. Tuesday, the 5th works for me. It will keep me from fixating on the election results.

HDDR would be just myself as well. Right now flight wise (mainly due to departure times) Melissa will likely be on a 10:30pm flight Friday night. At least no traffic at that hour to go pick her up. It was that or the 8:55 flight the next morning, she will fly back Tuesday afternoon.

My current ressie is arr Mon (Nov 4) evening, and out on Thur (Nov 7) morning in a Tent Loop (car camping.. prob be in 2000s given late arrival!) …. I’m trying to add Nov 7 & am optimistically saying it will be so! ….

I’ll be back at the Fort the following Monday Nov 11 til Sunday Nov 24.

I should “optimistically” plan on winning the lotto…. After a couple days of trying, I’ve added Nov 7 to my Nov 4/5/6 nites!

lol, My original intent was first week non-Disney, maybe a few days on east or west coasts & to collect any camping gear I don’t fly down with (eg bike/minifridge/camp chair, thru FB marketplace/pawn shop), THEN my 2 weeks at the Fort when I’d set up my chowhouse,etc & start my 1 yr annual pass. woohoo:Annual Pass!)
…. Then I realized there was a Dismeet on my arrival date so I thought, Wow! Have to be at the Fort for some of that… & booked Mon/Tues, thinking I’d just ‘rough it’ for a couple nights without fully setting up or buying those extras.
…. Then I realized Tues is US Election day, so I figured I’d hunker down at the Fort for Wednesday as well. ….and I booked a golf cart figuring I’d be out in the sticks in 2000 loop.
…..Then ye threw the idea of HDDR on Thursday, hot dang! So now it’s 4 nights! lol, anything more than 2-3 nights is worth setting up chowhouse, proper meals etc! And might end up starting that AP that week!

I’m excited at the thought of faces and voices …

Oh! it seems like no HDDR Mon/Tues!

Ok getting real now. Booked Melissa's flight. Next up is buying our annual passes. With at least 2 trips int he next 12 months we surpass when its worth buying. And since none of our planned trips are during known block out periods we are going to go with the DVC pass and save a few bucks.

Okay, question for anyone...since election day during the DisMeet...and I've never voted by absentee ballot (okay, maybe 25+ years ago from college, but who remembers back quite that far?)...anyone able to point me in a direction for when and how to request that absentee ballot? I'm assuming it has to wait until both parties have nominees to put on the ballot officially...anyone?

It varies by state. HERE is what I found for PA. Looks like you have until October 29th to request a mail-in ballot.

@MrsPAHunter My county is starting in person early voting on October 13th. And thankfully for me the polling location is the nearby library. A quick search I found this list of counties election officials sites. https://www.pa.gov/en/agencies/vote/contact-us/contact-your-election-officials.html

That should get you int he right direction to make sure you vote counts.

70 days to check in, 68 days to departure!! Truck already got serviced this month and should not need more then fuel and some DEF on the trip., It will get a quick bath this week and after the racing is done will see a full detail for the trip south and back. Same with the RV, its annual fall scrub will keep it looking sharp enough for arrival.

Next up is order up some annual passes for Melissa and I.
