okay i had stuff quoted but dis is being a pain tonight!

Dancin, i saw your user name. ill try to figure out how to add you onto my page but im having problems with it. :confused3

Love, loved your birthday min TR! The kids are so cute! That is too funny that Abby found a hidden mickey when y'all were in the light house. Good Disney Child indeed :rotfl: I can't believe you climbed all those stairs.

The beach there looks perfect! Kind of like St. George Island in Florida. There's no one on the beaches. It's amazing! I wanna go to the beach!! 75 outside and in the water sounds too cold for me too but glad the kiddies enjoyed themselves.

Thanks for sharing your experiance and the pictures with us!

So I'm making one of those Rainbow Jello Salads ... you know the kind that has one layer then some "white" stuff (I'm using sour cream) and then another layer, etc, etc.

I've never made this before and my it takes a while to do! I'm starting it today and hope it gets done by our party on Wednesday at 10am. Each jello layer needs to set (1-3 hrs? I need to check on this...normal jello is 4 hours but this is a lot thinner), then the sour cream needs to set for 1/2 hr and you repeat this 4x. I'm mixing vanilla ice cream with the jello and adding food coloring to get the colors I want for Halloween -- bottom to top is: purple, green, black and orange.

Then I should top it all off with some candy corn and candy pumpkins or maybe I'll use mini decorative pumpkins instead...still deciding. Of course, I'll post a pic!

sounds very interesting. I've never heard of that before. Can't wait to see the picture. And hear how it turns out.

Love, I totally forgot to comment on Sharky's and Tomato's!!! omg is that ever hilarious that they were both there and right next to each other too. :lmao: :lmao:

i got a "diet" question. Can i still eat the foods i love (in smaller portions and not as often) and still lose weight?:confused3

You can, but just stay with in the calories and carbs and such that spark people has set for you. The calories I have found are pretty easy to stay within but the carbs...not so much. I just got some of those 100 calorie packs to eat as snacks when I get home from work in the afternoon and that totally curbs my hunger pangs and also lets me have chocolate and the "bad" foods that I enjoy so much but in moderation. Right now I'm loving the teddy gram packs and the little keebler elf chocolate cookies :thumbsup2 Also know that the more you exersise and the more muscle you put on the more calories you will burn even while you are not exersising. :thumbsup2

And did you know that for an hour after exercising you continue to burn calories? It's true.

I think you and I are the only ones left tonight Chele. I'm going to bed now. Getting sleepy. Hope you have a good evening!

Hello everyone! :wave2: Hope you don't mind if I join the party. :flower3: Love invited me over. I know some of you already, and recognize others. I'm looking for a friendly place to hang out and chat on a daily basis since I don't have a TR right now. :sad2:

My name is Laura. I am 35 and married to Trace for 12 years. We have 3 beautiful kiddies and I am a SAHM. We usually travel to WDW in Nov but this year just wasn't going to happen, so I am in planning withdrawal. I am hoping a miracle happens before spring. Wouldn't WDW be a great place to spend the babys first birthday???

Anyway - hope I'm welcome! I'm looking forward to some new friends!

Hi MCM! I hope you don't mind that I shortened your name. Sharky our nickname maker isn't here right now. Lucky woman is in WDW. Welcome to our insanity. I am a Disneyland person. California born and bred. I am in withdrawals right now and am hoping to plan my trip soon. I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

Good Morning All!

We have reached the cooler mornings. It is 42 degrees this morning. I meet this with mixed feelings. Although I love the weather change because of the beautiful colors I am not overly fond of the cold. I know, I know, I am never happy.:upsidedow

Hi Laura! Any friend of Love's is a friend of mine :thumbsup2 We are always glad to have new people over here.

Bummer you don't have any trip planning going on right now :sad2: But there are a lot of people in the same boat as you with not being able to go on their normal vacations. This economy sucks! That would be awesome to celebrate your baby's first birthday at WDW though! Wonder if they would let one of the other kids in free that day instead since your baby will already be getting in free due to the age. :confused3 That would be nice! Maybe wishful thinking though! We all know how WDW is

Anyways, I'll introduce myself now since I don't believe we have ever run into each other on the boards. My name is Carla and I'm 27 years old. I've been married to Chris for 5 years now and he is 28 years old. We don't have any kids but we do have 4 dogs all varying in size (from small to big). Um, I live in Georgia and work for my dad as his General Office manager. Been working here for 7 years now. Ummmm....I quilt. And I guess that's about it for now. If you would like to know anything else just ask :goodvibes

Welcome to the group!

Good morning! Here in lovely Michigan where you can wear shorts and a snowsuit in the same week - we are at 67. However we are expected to be at 52 by Sat. :sad2:

Good Morning!

Wow 42 huh? That's colder than here! I have mixed feelings about the cooler weather too. I love the season change but I hate hate hate cold weather too! Hence why I love spring more because it brings on the nice hot summer.

Goodmorning! That's about where we are right now too. in the mid 60's to 70's. Bummer on being 52 by Sat. HOpefully that is just a cold snap and won't last long. Stupid winter.

Welcome to the group!

Thanks Carla! I have seen you around, but it is nice to meet you. Georgia is my dream state. My DH has an office in Atlanta and we talk about moving all the time . All of our family is here so that always stops us, and now that Aidan started Kindergarten, we probably will never do it.

I have a possible trip in the works but I am still trying to convince DH. He has decided that we should shoot for debt free next year which sound like a great idea, except that it inferes with my Disney time. This so doesn't fit with the Budget Board thinking, but I am ok with Disney debt. It is the only stress free time we spend as a family without my dh's work phone. So we will see, Abby already responds to Mickeys voice on the tv so I think she can convince Daddy to go!!!

Unfortunately that is just the begining. Around here we buy Halloween costumes 1 size bigger so that we can get winter coats under them!

You're welcome. So what exactly do you like about Georgia so much? I can't seem to find much that I enjoy here but of course I am originally from South Florida were I could always at least go and enjoy the beach for free. I haven't lived down there in about 15 years though so I guess I should quit being such a :snooty: about it  I hear you on not wanting to move due to family closeness and Aidan starting school there now. I think those would be deciding factors for me too. All my family lives here in Georgia now. After spending so many years spread all over the country we are now all in one spot. It's nice but weird. Where in Georgia is your husband's office? I'm in North West Georgia. about 30 min outside of Atlanta.

Oh debt free sounds nice but I hear you on needing that stress free time as a family too and that is so worth the debt. I hope you and Abby can convince him! :thumbsup2 I'm hoping to be debt free (with my credit cards at least) by the end of next year as well. We'll see if that happens  I've already been invited on 2 trips to WDW for next year. It's like, c'mon people, why do you have to invite me when I've decided to make the hard decision to skip Disney for a year??

Unfortunately that is just the begining. Around here we buy Halloween costumes 1 size bigger so that we can get winter coats under them!

oh good Lord!! No wonder you want to move to Georgia!! You probably find our winters warm compared to having to shove a winter coat under your halloween costume. Geesh!:faint:

I am about 400 miles from Disneyland. Close enough for a long weekend. I keep trying to come up with a way to convince my DH that we should have AP's and go like every other month but even I am not so creative. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I also should introduce myself. I am Michele. I have been married to Scotty for over 16 years. We have three kids. One preteen boy and two teenage girls. Our house is like a zoo. And that isn't even counting the pets. I live in the San Francisco bay area, I am about 45 miles from the city.
