Yeah, talk about a surprise...I thought LeeAnn would go prior to seeing their dresses but then thought Kato (not sure of her name) had a worse outfit since her bridesmaid dress and bride's dress were basically the same color -- not good.

hey, dancin' -- so glad to hear that you and BF are together now! What ever happened with your storage unit situation?

I'm checking out...got to be at a consignment sale tomorrow at 6:45am!!! YIKES! but I'll be one of the first to get in during a special pre-opening. Hopefully, we'll find some of the things on our list but a lot cheaper there.

Oh, DH got a job offer today -- not the job he really wants, but it's a job offer! He also has 3 interviews set up next week, so hopefully he'll get at least one other offer and then we can compare the jobs, benefits, etc.

We had a great time and the weather was wonderful! It rained today but that's okay since we were just going to the aquarium and then on toward home. The other 2 days were perfect! The kids actually got to play in the surf yesterday. I really thought it would be too chilly but they didn't seem to mind. I guess the water is about 75 degrees right now... about the same as the air temp was. Anyway... I took lots of pictures and I'll post some and tell you everything we did if y'all want me to.

But not tonight... I didn't sleep well last night and I cannot wait to crawl into my own bed! : So, I'm off to dreamland! See ya tomorrow! s

Here are some pics from today. I have to say I was a little leary of painting pumpkins and when we arrived they had foam stickies to put on them instead of paint...WOO HOO!!!

Good Morning everyone! We spent the day doing October things yesterday. Halloween costume hunting, pumpkin patching, etc. Today is clean the house day ! Have a great Sunday!

Hey Ob..Your kids are too cute

I've been busy on photobucket and you know what that means! BAM! Beach pics coming up~

We drove out to the Outer Banks and our first stop was in Nag's Head for lunch. I didn't take pictures!

From there we drove north to Kitty Hawk to the Wright Brothers Monument. They have a museum in an airplane hanger kind of building. Here are the kids posing in front of a replica of the WB airplane that they made the historic first flight in. (Look like you love each other!






We spent a couple hours there. Tom and the boys enjoyed it especially since they all have the "transportation gene".


After we were done there we drove up to the hotel in Corolla. If anyone is planning to take a trip to this area, I highly recommend the Hampton Inn! It was really nice, and right on the beach too! And there was nothing next to it on either side for 1/4 mile or so. This was the view from our "partial ocean view" balcony.



The kids were out on the balcony and Abby gasped. I came running and she said, "A fox!" Naturally it was gone by the time I grabbed my camera. I saw it 2 or 3 more times but never while I had my camera!


Anyway... we spent the rest of the afternoon checking out the hotel and then we decided to find some dinner. Maybe we could try here~

Actually we ate at a place near Sharky's called the Tomato Patch! I got a secret little chuckle out of that to myself. I forgot to take a pic. Anyway... attached to the Tomato Patch was a bar called Dr. Unks (get it... Dr.unks


The next day we went to the Currituck Lighthouse.

And Abby spotted a Hidden Mickey! I hugged her and proudly said, "Good Disney child"!

Also on the grounds was an outdoor education center kinda place to explore.

Look out for that bear!




There was also a boardwalk through a salt marsh that ended on a dock over the Currituck Sound.

My name is Laura. I am 35 and married to Trace for 12 years. We have 3 beautiful kiddies and I am a SAHM. We usually travel to WDW in Nov but this year just wasn't going to happen, so I am in planning withdrawal. I am hoping a miracle happens before spring. Wouldn't WDW be a great place to spend the babys first birthday???

We went to Downtown Disney the first night and he got to play with Mr Potato Heads, and he was in all glory


His favorite park was Epcot, believe it or not. Most kid do not like Epcot at his age

Yeah but the fussiness in line is normal. I have been known to fuss when I have to wait myself. Oh to be able to play with Mr Potato Head with the abandon of a 4 year old again. Sigh. I am not familiar with WDW so I am guessing Epcot is kind of like California Adventure and it isn't as DIsney themed but there are things that you normally don't see. So maybe that is why.
