You're welcome. So what exactly do you like about Georgia so much? I can't seem to find much that I enjoy here but of course I am originally from South Florida were I could always at least go and enjoy the beach for free. I haven't lived down there in about 15 years though so I guess I should quit being such a :snooty: about it  . Where in Georgia is your husband's office? I'm in North West Georgia. about 30 min outside of Atlanta.

oh good Lord!! No wonder you want to move to Georgia!! You probably find our winters warm compared to having to shove a winter coat under your halloween costume. Geesh!:faint:

I always thought that I wanted to be in Florida but Georgia has the much better than Michigan weather but still has alot of the things I love about Michigan. You still have a change of seasons and it is so green!!!

Plus - there is an ocean withing driving distance. DH's office is on the NE side of Atlanta. He works from home so he wouldn't need to battle the traffic everyday but would need an office to occassionly show his face at.

Very very soon you will hear much complaining from me about the weather!

I am about 400 miles from Disneyland. Close enough for a long weekend. I keep trying to come up with a way to convince my DH that we should have AP's and go like every other month but even I am not so creative. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I also should introduce myself. I am Michele. I have been married to Scotty for over 16 years. We have three kids. One preteen boy and two teenage girls. Our house is like a zoo. And that isn't even counting the pets. I live in the San Francisco bay area, I am about 45 miles from the city.

Nice to meet you! I am glad I have a ways until teens. I will also have 3 at once!

Do the kids and Scotty like Disney like you do?

The kids do but Scotty is on the fence. He would rather camp, I have a theory about that though. To men camping is a vacation. We still have to cook and do the dishes and everything so it truly isn't a vacation for us. He likes it while we are there but he doesn't like the planning and all the fun stuff. He is picckier than I am, I am happy to stay anywhere nearby but he always wants to stay onsite. And unlike WDW at DL you can stay offsite and still be within walking distance.

Love, I totally forgot to comment on Sharky's and Tomato's!!! omg is that ever hilarious that they were both there and right next to each other too. :lmao: :lmao:

:lmao: I thought that was pretty darn funny too!

Hello everyone! :wave2: Hope you don't mind if I join the party. :flower3: Love invited me over. I know some of you already, and recognize others. I'm looking for a friendly place to hang out and chat on a daily basis since I don't have a TR right now. :sad2:

My name is Laura. I am 35 and married to Trace for 12 years. We have 3 beautiful kiddies and I am a SAHM. We usually travel to WDW in Nov but this year just wasn't going to happen, so I am in planning withdrawal. I am hoping a miracle happens before spring. Wouldn't WDW be a great place to spend the babys first birthday???

Anyway - hope I'm welcome! I'm looking forward to some new friends!

Yay! Laura is here! :cool1: Some of you may remember that Laura posted on my TR and then Sharky and I begged (bullied :confused3 ) her into doing a TR of her own!

Good morning! Here in lovely Michigan where you can wear shorts and a snowsuit in the same week - we are at 67. However we are expected to be at 52 by Sat. :sad2:

I heard you were having a nice week. Today we are pushing 90. :sad2: It's not normally that warm, we're just having a little spell... should be back down to the 70's by the end of the week. That's just where I like it! :thumbsup2

Unfortunately that is just the begining. Around here we buy Halloween costumes 1 size bigger so that we can get winter coats under them!

Or, it could be hot and you could be sweating while trick or treating... you just never know - it's a real crap shoot up there!

Welcome Laura!!

Love -- your beach pictures were great!! I've never been to the outer banks area...the beaches we go to you can't help but run into someone 4 feet next to you! So your pics make me ask -- what happened??? where is everyone??

Your trip looked like lots of fun.

:lmao: at the Sharky's Grill and Dr. Unk bar.

Hi Marshay! I hope everything is good at your house!

You can, but just stay with in the calories and carbs and such that spark people has set for you. The calories I have found are pretty easy to stay within but the carbs...not so much. I just got some of those 100 calorie packs to eat as snacks when I get home from work in the afternoon and that totally curbs my hunger pangs and also lets me have chocolate and the "bad" foods that I enjoy so much but in moderation. Right now I'm loving the teddy gram packs and the little keebler elf chocolate cookies :thumbsup2 Also know that the more you exersise and the more muscle you put on the more calories you will burn even while you are not exersising. :thumbsup2

very good to know. so far i managed to stay within the limit they set for me. after all its only been 2 days for me :rotfl2: I also decided that if i know im going to have a "big meal" or something "bad" i'll eat something light, or make sure that is my only big meal. And instead of soda today i grabbed Gatorade. Not quite water but its better than soda right?

And did you know that for an hour after exercising you continue to burn calories? It's true.

really? but i bet i'd have to do more than 20 crunches:rotfl: , thats all i managed to do last night cause i was tired but i forced myself to do those, tonight i'll shoot for 25

Good Morning All!

We have reached the cooler mornings. It is 42 degrees this morning. I meet this with mixed feelings. Although I love the weather change because of the beautiful colors I am not overly fond of the cold. I know, I know, I am never happy.:upsidedow

It was cold here this morning too. 52 degrees. I better get me some boots before the snow comes. I guess this florida girl definitely cant wear flip-flops this winter :lmao:

Since everyone else introduced themselves to Laura, i guess i should too. You can call me dancin, Cheenie, or Chi Chi. I'm 25 years old, im not married but in a relationship with my boyfriend Manu, 19. We have talked about marriage but there is no ring, yet. We dont have any kids, but have also talked about that topic too. I moved from my homestate of Florida to my boyfriend's homestate of Wisconsin 5 months ago. I am a former CM who often gets homesick for florida and disney often.

Yeah, you are right, we do at least get the season changes here. Everyone that visits here always comments on how green it is here. I didn't think it was any different than anywhere else. :confused3 Guess I need to get out of my own state more :rotfl:

Ah cool, on the other side of where I am. That's good that he can work from home and just only has to make an appearance from time to time here.

haha yeah I'll be complaining too but now realizing how cold everyone else has it I might have to keep it off the boards

Hey All...sorry for just disappearing but things have been busy here. I wanted to stop in and say hi for minute! I'll hopefully have things slow down here so I can get back to my regular DISing schedule ;)

Miss You All :grouphug:

Miss you too Betsy! sorry to hear that things have gotten busy lately. Seems like that's how it is for a while after a WDW trip. It's just now started to slow down here for me. Look forward to having you back! And hopefully by then my web page view will be back to normal. My dog just pushed a button on my laptop (I have no clue which one) and now my page is shurnk :confused3
