DISers unite! MAMMOTH MAY MEET Epcot on May 17, 2009!

One of the things I love about going to Le Cellier is having a Molson draft. :drinking1 Ahhh.... (oh yeah, and the cheddar cheese soup.) :thumbsup2

Oh sure I know Rush & Triumph. I can do better than that. When everybody in the states were worshipping Bon Jovi, I was listening to Honeymoon Suite and Frozen Ghost. (My parents had a satellite dish when I was growing up, and I used to watch MuchMusic all the time!)

You really were born in the wrong country!

Oh and about your beautiful weather. *pffffbbbbtttt* :rotfl:

My DDIL is Canadian. If I ask her what *pffffbbbbtttt* means, will I be embarrassed by her answer? It is not a term this Okie is familiar with :rotfl2:

:lmao: It's the sound of a raspberry (not the fruit). :lmao:

Alan- we're having a lot of fun- very relaxing. We saw 25 wild horses yesterday, they are beautiful! Tomorrow we're going "sledding" on the giant dunes-:thumbsup2

Well, Tuesday morning we had a record breaking freeze - 22 degrees! Today, it was shorts weather at 78 degrees. Crazy, crazy, I say!:confused3
I guess you can wear shorts with a heavy coatover them. That way, you are always prepared no matter what!:rotfl2:

EXACTLY!! We have a saying here in Alabama: "If you don't like the weather, stick around for a couple of hours!" Alabamians have several days of the year where we run the heat AND the a/c on the same day!

You really were born in the wrong country!

Hahahaha...yep. I took French in college just in case I ever get to travel to Quebec. (I doubt I can remember any of it these days!)

Hopefuly this is the last of snow , butwe have had it in early May !!!:scared1:

Sorry to boast, pal, but this is definitely OUR time of the year. You guys have those nice, white Christmases....and we get pleasant springs!

I've seen packs of wild horses in the dessert, and it is truly amazing...makes you feel like you are in an old western movie. Have fun sledding....and for God's sake don't get hurt!! We wouldn't want anything keeping you from your WDW trip next month!

:lmao::lmao:

Yeah, that was funny and I should have known better than to ask!

You all are hilarious! :rotfl2:

Well I'd walk up to you all on the 17th making the sound of a raspberry but they'd likely think I'm drunk (or crazy) and kick me out. :lmao:

Fairly nice here in north Jersey today too.

Mysteria, I noticed in your siggie that you are a Breast Cancer supporter. Just wanted you to know that my buddy and I will be performing tonight for free to help raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. :thumbsup2

Well I think that's awesome! :cool1: I didn't even know you performed. What do you perform? Tell me all about it (have to get to know something about you all before the 17th lol)

I support many like causes. Cancer/heart/stroke being at the front not because I don't care about, or donate, to others but because they have had the most effect on myself, my family and my friends directly. For me if I had been born 20 years earlier, give or take, I wouldn't be here now.

Rosie

Kudos to all of you that support fundraising for cancer of any kind and congratulations to all of you survivors. My dear cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago. Ironically, she is an RN supervisor on an oncology floor.:sad2: We learned recently that it has returned. Cancer should be a four letter word:sad1:

Hey everyone,
I wanted to know what time you are all meeting and where up for Spectromagic at MK on Saturday?? I might add a day to our park passes. If I do then well be able to go to MK for the Dolewhip/ Spectro meet. Spectro is on my must do list for this trip, so works out perfectly.

Thanks,
Nichole

colinsdad organized that one I believe. It is at 8 p.m. May 16th at the Aloha Isle (sp) near or in Adventureland.
Hope to see you there.

I hope so too. Nothing better than watching the Spectro while eating a dole whip! We like to watch it from just over the walkway to Frontierland in front of the LTT (or if you leave the Aloha Isle, go down a ways, turn right and go under the walkway near the Arcade, turn a little to your right and there you are!). I think that's about right!:rotfl: Sad how I can see it in my mind!:sad2: Wish I could taste the dole whip too:lmao:
Hope to see lots of people there - well, lots of people from here, not lots of crowds:scared1:

We don't get to Orlando until about 1 p.m. so we will hit the parks about 3 or so and MK will be our first stop! Since we leave about 6 a.m., don't you know we will be ready for some fun!:cool1:
