Okay I've been out most of the day. I went dress shopping with my best friend for her wedding dress and my bridesmaid dress.

here is what we choose for me and the other girl.

Her colors are blue and it was that or dark blue and that would look bad on me, the picture doesn't do it justice.

Renee... we have done Easter at Disney before and have always had a great time..we ALWAYS follow TGM plans though... never really have had long waits ... the longest wait is for the bus!!!!! Really with proper planning it isn't to bad... I was able to get airfare for the 4 of us for a total of $902..... thats about $225 each... we are going in April .. but the rates were running high from beginning of March thru end of April.... I was lucky at checking just as Airtran had opened up some low fares....

Don't think Easter break in Disney will work out after all. The Dolphin doesn't have the MetLife rate available and we are too spoiled to stay anywhere else at the rate we get. Oh well. Will think about a few other choices for that week. Past two years we did Philadelphia and Boston. Philly was eh, Boston was a lot of fun. Maybe we'll look into Washington D.C....

Bus Update: after a very frustrating confrontation with the bus driver AND the bus company on Monday, I spoke with the President of the school, and Tuesday and Wednesday the bus was ON TIME. Hopefully everything is now "on track". Side note: Dana's really enjoying school, keeping up with her assignments, and has figured out a few ways to get to her locker, so she's not lugging EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE. lol

Prayers Please: VERY sad news yesterday - my cousin's 19 year old daughter was killed in a terrible car accident... four kids in the car - bad curve, heavy rain, inexperienced driver, THREE KILLED. I can not FATHOM the heartache they are going through. We are awaiting arrangements. My cousin JUST moved to Florida in July - this daughter (the youngest) hated it and begged to move back to NJ and live with a friend. So very sad.

Extremely sad and my prayers definitely go out to your family. Losing a child has got to be awful enough but I am sure they will start thinking things like, "Oh, she didn't even want to live here. Why did we move?" So very very sorry!

Pretty dress, Mandy. Does the wrap come with it? I like it in black, but I guess not many bridesmaids wear black, unless it is a "black tie" affair. Send us pictures from the wedding!

Yes it does come with the wrap and purse. The theme of the wedding is like a fairytale wedding. I'll be keeping you guys updated as it goes along. I saw it in red and it was beautiful.

update on my cousin:
My cousin and his wife couldn't bear to have a wake, so there is just going to be a funeral mass this Saturday at 9 am. My other cousin is having people back to his house after church. Not looking forward to how sad this will be. The girl who she was living with was also killed, as was another passenger. Only the driver survived and she's only 17. Can you imagine the heartache SHE is living with?

Okay I need to vent and vent major. Because of a goof up, and that's putting it nicely, at my school my account may have been compromised and I have to go tomorrow to alert the bank of what happened and everything else.

Mandy: Sorry to hear about the computer mailing problem. Hope it is cleared up and nothing drastic comes of it.

Time to vent - I had my first "high school" meeting tonight - I was assigned to be a liason between the school and our parish - to tell the parish about upcoming events etc... One of the parents from last year, who was a major thorn in my side for nine years... SHE'S on the committee, too. grrrr I thought I was DONE with some of these people. Granted, I knew some were coming to our school, and I have no issues with the kids - but some of these parents were MEAN. I'm debating calling the coordinator and telling her she doesn't need more than one per parish - but I'm afraid of what I'll be given as a volunteer assignment in place of this one! And, to be honest with you, I would be very good at this one! lol grrrrr

Thanks I just get to run around tomorrow like a chicken with my head cut off to get this taken care of. I hate my college, the only idiots I know of that cut parking in about half because of a stinking football game. Wait till 3 people, we need the parking you crazy people.

Renee.... so sorry about your loss.... you and your family are all in our thoughts and prayers...

sometimes volunteering tests our patience. I am coordinating the band trip to Florida in February and one of the ladies that applied to chaperone I DISLIKE VERY MUCH....she is selfish, mean, and doesn't not have the best interests of the group,.... only her daughter..... problem is we will probably need 8 chaperones and have about 10 appliations and a couple of the people that applied are worse than her........yikes..... I can't stand being in the room with her let alone a 7 day bus trip!!!!!!

Word of advice: Do not wear croc capris when it's been raining. I was walking on campus and it had rained and I slipped and almost fell.
