I very seldom watch movies or go to them. I have Cinderella 3 and still ain't watched it yet. Now music, country especially I can give tell ya about.

I don't like dumb movies either.

Whoa, huge shopping spree this afternoon/evening! My "Mother's Day" gift from Dana & Bob.. went to a fancy mall near us and I made some pretty nice purchases! :goodvibes

J.Jill had a sale on very nice sleeveless tanks - I was just lamenting that I wasn't sure what I would wear in Disney - and now I'm set! lol Buy 2 get one free - so I bought 4 and got 2 free! Plus an extra 15% off because I opened a charge. What a deal. Told Bob "look what I saved you!" he just rolled his eyes, but with a smile.

I've been seeing the ads on TV for Victoria Secret's "no wire" bra... so I went in and ended up getting two.

Then my "real" present - picked out a pretty tote at Coach... nice for the plane to fit tickets, water bottle, etc... anyone know if you are allowed to carry a bottle of water onto the plane at this point?

We went out to dinner and now I'm home for the night. very tired ... good night all and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!! :hippie:

We went shopping last night. I got Tucker some birthday presents and Avery a graduation present. Then we went to Wal-mart. I got 2 carabiner fans (mine's lime... of course!) They were only $1.37 each! Got Tucker a couple of T-shirts, and Avery a cute outfit. Found some little blue ice type ice cubes for our cooler bag. Last year we filled it up with ice at the ice machine when we left the hotel. Problem was... we had to keep pouring the water off, and by the end of the day the bag and stroller basket were pretty wet. We tried blue ice packs, but they didn't keep the drinks very cold. I am hoping this will work since they actually are ice cube size, and fit around the drinks!

Today we had our last soccer game... they lost miserably! But we had a pizza party, and the kids got nice trophies, so the day was a success. Kids played in the sprinkler/pool this afternoon, then we all napped. Overall a great day!

I just popped them popcorn, and rented Flushed Away on Pay-per-View... so I'm going swimming in the bathtub! I think I'll rent The Holiday for myself after I get them to bed!

Hi everyone. Just got thru with dinner(homemade pizza) now haveing a glass of wine to relax. As you know I called DM earlier so she could hear my southern accent and I could hear her "yankee" accent.:rotfl: Yes she has one.;) I love my DIS friends from all over.

Kanga I'm missing your crazy Oblivia stories.

We're not doing anything special really, my mom feels like it's just another day after this many years. I did get her a card that sings though.

I'll try to muster up the strength to finish it tomorrow. She'll be here tomorrow night for our Mother's Day cookout, so if it's not up tomorrow afternoon, you know I won't have a chance to do it cuz she'll overstay her welcome and stay till midnight as usual.:scared1:

I just got home - I've been out shopping all day! :cool1:

DM - I was in your neck of the woods today!

Spent most of the day at Carousel Center - had to hit up the Disney Store. They were giving out $10 gift cards if you filled out an application for the Disney Visa, so DH and I both did. He bought a huge stuffed Minnie for Antonia (our DD) with his $10 and I got myself a beautiful Jack Sparrow t-shirt - I'll be staring at myself all day whenever I wear it! :) Then we went to TJ Maxx for a bit, and out to Red Lobster to celebrate Mother's Day. Lobster = .

I don't get to the movies very often (ok, more like never) but my mom took me to see Borat when it was in the theaters. I never laughed so hard in my life! That kind of humor is right up my alley. For a while I thought I was going to have to leave the theater because I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe!

I've seen Borat, I went DH and a couple of friends. I didnt think I would enjoy it BUT it is the funniest thing I have ever seen. I have never laughed so hard in all my life :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We did that a few months ago, filled out an application for the Disney Visa just to get our gift card;)

Sounds like you had a great day. Isnt it disappointing for the adults when the kids team loses? Sometimes the kids are so caught up, they dont even realize it. LOL..

;) Ok...for those with young ones.. Do they nap in the stroller? So funny these Dis people on the community board. They will debate anything.

You should check it out if you get a chance LOL

My youngest one will not nap in a stroller or carseat. She has not slept in the car since she was a little baby. Its not for lack of trying. We are out and about A LOT...she prefers her bed..

Good example yesterday. My 7 yr old had her first track meet. My 2 1/2 yr old got up at 3am(this is common for her)and she comes into our bed. Really no problem if she goes to sleep. She tossed and turned and finally fell asleep at 5:30am:sad2: . We had to leave the house by 6:45am and drive 45 minutes to the meet. My husband got her out of bed last . She cried a bit, and put her in the car. Do you think she went to sleep on that long ride , NOPE. ... We didnt get home until around noon time, where again on the ride back no sleeping in the car. She then took a 3 hr nap...So as you might figure out, its going to be one long car ride to Florida:eek:

We did do our Mothers day dinner last night, figured the restaurants would be less crowded. We went to this place called "Sumo's", its a Japenese steakhouse type place. Really I dont know why they call it that. Its where they make the food right in front of you. I always get the Chicken and Shrimp and split it with my son, they give you tons of food. My 2 girls get a bowl of Steamed rice, pretty fancy;) . but thats all they will eat there...

Oh back to the track meet... I am such a sap. My daughter only ran one race the 100 meter thing. She is still new to the track club, and doesnt have the experience of the other girls who are REALLY fast. I always thought my 7 yr old was fast until we joined this club. She ran with 4 other girls and came in last,:sad1: ... she didnt care, she was having a blast. I had tears in my eyes during her race. I wasnt sappy because she lost, because she was in her first official race, and she was doing her best. I was so proud of her.
We do have a 15 second video of her on the cell phone, that my husband down loaded. But geez, I cant figure out how to get pictures on here, let alone a video.

Anyways...
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!
