Do have good news, found out I made yearbook staff at my campus. I'll find out more info about what I'm doing but I'm on student life and I'm working with one of my really good guy friends. So yay for money, well as of next semester it will be money.

We're celebrating Tucker's birthday when we go, but it is really May 22. We will also celebrate Avery's preschool graduation. We can't go over Tucker's birthday, even if I was the type to pull my kids out of school, as that is when they have their end-of-grade testing. We are having to squeeze this vacation in, as they will start back to school on July 9. UGH!!

WOW July 9th is early to go back to school? Is it year round school? My older kids get done with School June 15th and return the day after Labor Day.

I was 26 on March 31st, John will be 31 in October, we were together too for 5 years before we got married. We have a 6 year old little girl called Olivia, guess you dont have one of those yet! And a little Westie called Rufus (from Kim Possible) he's 1 and a half!

No human children for us yet--- Just our furry one being Maddie! She'll be five in May.... I bet Rufus is so cute! I have a friend who has a westie and she's adorable!!!

New York in under a state of emergency so maybe they have to close the schools Alot of the major roadways are flooded & closed. DH called his boss & asked to take the day off but he said no. He has about a 45 min drive so hopefully he can find a way to get there.

That's great you get to have the kids home with you on your birthday.... we just had a one hour delay here.... only about 6-8 inches of snow... not enough to keep the bus from coming...

6-8 inches of snow would close our schools for DAYS!! Our schools cloe down as soon as we get 1/4" sticking to the roads. Of course, we can still sometimes go 2 or 3 years without even that. We had 2 snows thi year, but my kids didn't get to go out and play in it either time, as it turned to rain before they could get out. We usually take them to the mountains at least once during the winter so they can play in the snow, but this year it didn't happen. Oh, well... maybe next year!

We just had our 13th this past Feb. We started dating in 91, and married in 94. Seems like it has been MUCH longer!

It is still snowing... they said we should get another 4-6 inches during the day.... we are just hoping they can clear the baseball fields for games on Friday ... it is kind of funny to see a baseball game going on and off to the side of the field a 6 ft pile of snow.... but we are used to it... spring doesn't arrive here until May and it usually snows by Halloween....why do I live here

Thats what its like here. We live in Va beach. They will close the schools for just a dusting of snow..it gets so frustrating. Then the kids have to have make up days when they close for snow. Luckily, we havent had any snow days this year.
I grew up in the Chicago land area. It would have to have 10 feet of snow before they ever closed schools there.
