Sarah, I think Tifton should be about 3 hours south of Atlanta. I think that is where we will stop too.

Thanks so much. I will have to look that up and see what hotels they have. I like to know ahead of time where to stop.

Happy Saturday my DIS stalkers!

What are yall doing today? We are going to our local water park for the day .... Buying season passes. They have concerts every Satuday night that you get into free with your season passes... Tonight is Josh Turner (country).... Can I tell you how excited I am??????????????? Wahoo!

Hope yall have a great day!

Courtney that sounds so fun. I really like Josh Turner. I bet you are really excited. Have lots and lots of fun!!!

I am making my last trip to the Disney Store. I have to drive to Nashville because that's where the only one around here is. It is in Opry Mills Mall. I want to get the kids gift cards, and I probably will end up getting some other things too. I need to get the twins some clothes. They are so little that last summer they wore 18-24 months. Now that they are almost 4 this summer that stuff is too small. Thank goodness!!! This mall has a Old Navy in it and a Carter's and some other kid's stores. I want to try and find some Capri crocs flip flops too. My two sisters are coming with me.

Happy Saturday, to all of you!
**We are heading to my cousin's for his daughter's college graduation party. We don't see my dad's side of the family very often, or else I would skip the party. I want to stay home in my own backyard! :sad1: We've yet to get in the pool and it's been open since May 16th! I have SO MUCH to do around the house, and graduation, and packing up 8 years of my life in the library... I don't know when the heck I'm going to get ready for DISNEY!
(Bob, ever the logical one..grrr.. told me to not worry about the Library until AFTER we return from Disney. Ok, so it makes sense. I hate when he's right... )

**DM - Dana despises Pringles. (Just thought that would make you feel better!) We prefer the Lays Stax - Bob & Dana like the sour cream & onion, I like the cheddar.

**I bring a bottle of water in the car when we travel and I ALWAYS have my "emergency bottle of coca cola"! I have a bad stomach and must be very careful what I eat & drink... Pepsi is too sweet - when I'm really feeling poorly, Coke is the best thing for me to sip. But it has to be from a bottle, not a can. So many issues..... and you wonder where Dana gets her "DIVA GENE"?! :rolleyes1

**Wake up Time? We used to plan on being at the parks when they opened, but after last year's :cloud9: "Heavenly Beds" at the Dolphin, we rearranged our schedule and slept in a few mornings. Very relaxing and truly "heavenly"!

**DM: I knew it was Cruella - I will have you know that I'm adding a step to your "identify the character" - I'm singing the song they are associtated with, too! I need to get into "Disney mode" since the hectic schedule over here is putting a monkey wrench in that!

Ok.. phew... am I caught up now? Oh - one more thing - I think i'm going to buy another pair of Crocs flip flops. Bob will murder me. My tooties were BOILING yesterday in the Croc Clogs. :scared:

I have to go work the gate at our ball tournament this morning then we play at 12. After that we will probably come home and swim. Chris is putting in a pool this week so we won't see much of him, but that's more spending $$$ in my pocket for our trip so I won't complain.
Oh, by the way he got is Crocs yesterday and likes them, but he says he will probably wear them with little ankle socks cuz his feet sweat a lot. So if you see a man walking around the parks with chocolate brown Crocs with little white footie socks that's my DH!:rotfl: Oh, well, what ever is comfy I guess. I got him the Crete flip flops, but he said he doesn't think he can walk in those at the parks all day, so he will probably just wear those down to the pool and stuff.
Have a great day everyone!:wave2:

Thats great about the spending money. The "stuff" that I buy at Disney always adds up so fast. So every extra bit of money really helps.

I am glad your husband likes his Crocs. When I was at the store last time they actually had croc socks to wear with them, so I guess a lot of people wear socks with their crocs. But it sounds funny they way you said it... his little white footie socks.

Wanted to show you Dana at her Dinner Dance this past Thursday evening. I don't know when she "grew up"... yesterday she was a baby. ::sigh:: ;)

Avery tends to get carsick at times... I will get some childrens nausea medicine to take just in case. We haven't had any trouble in quite a while, but had to stop 3 times to let her stomach rest during the 3 hour ride to the beach. She puked in the parking lot the minute she got out of the car... then was fine the rest of the day. I'm hoping she doesn't have problems on the trip... it will make for a very long day for all of us!

We will go to the Disney store next weekend, and load the rest of their money onto their gift cards. I think they have around $140 each right now. That is allowance, extra money for doing jobs, birthday/graduation money, etc.

I broke down and bought a pair of Athens on ebay last night - pearl with charcoal. I don't know if I will be brave enough to wear them at the parks, though. I have to wear my beach crocs with socks. I can't stand to feel the inside of the shoe, because my foot gets sweaty. With the socks, I don't seem to have any problems. I have been wearing them around my house to try to break them in, but I hate wearing shoes... so it is going slowly! I often catch myself barefoot, and don't even remember conciously kicking them off!

As for what time I get to the parks... we like the PM EMH, so we sleep in in the AM. We usually get up around 10-10:30. We sometimes swim in the AM, then get to the park around 2. Otherwise, we get there around noon, and eat lunch first thing. I have breakfast ADRs for 3 AMs this time, and DTD planned for another AM, so that will cut down on our pool time. We tend to be very flexible during the day... so our schedule is subject to change, especially on the days where our only ADR is in the AM.

Sorry... I knew I would forget something important... Renee, I love those pics! Avery wanted to know if Dana was getting married, and why she had a birthday cake to get married.

Oh, how cute is that?! :goodvibes

Tell Avery that Daddy won't let Dana get married until she's 35.....

Her dress was a "celery sage" type color. Her's was a bit longer than the other girls - a little above her ankle - but the other girls in her class can shop in the "junior" dept, and tiny Dana is still in the 6x to 14 Girls Dept! She thin and lanky, but tiny. It was tough, because the dresses in her department were too "babyish". We got this one in a catalog and it was really nice. http://www.woodensoldier.com/ There are pretty mother/daughter outfits and brother/sister ones too - have you ever see the catalog, Kari?

She kept that wrap on most of the night. Sometimes she thinks she's Coco Chanel or Audrey Hepburn..... I have this feeling the "teen years" are going to be very L O N G..............

I broke down and got some crocs. I got the capris in chocolate/cotton.

Court have fun and I want details of it.

I have seen that magazine, but I don't shop from it. Avery is hard to fit because she is small for her age. She has JUST grown into her 4T this year, after a major growth spurt. Sarah... last year she was wearing 24months and 2T, so I know exactly what you are going through! I weighed her this AM, and she is 36 pounds. Most of her friends are 40+. Tucker is about 10 pounds underweight for his age. Why couldn't I have gotten the skinny gene???

Dana looked absolutely beautiful!! It is so nice that the school does so much for 8th grade graduation!! I have seen the Wooden Soldier but I have never bought anything from there.

I understand about "little" children too...Alyssa will be 4 in July and she can still wear some 18 month shorts but mostly 2Ts although she is tall so they are too short so I have to buy 3Ts and just hope they don't fall down!! :rotfl: I weighed her the other day and she is 32 lbs.

Well, Paul and Amanda went to a Hot Wheel show this morning so Alyssa and I decided that we would go to the mall. We went into the Disney store and bought 3 more Tiki Island (I think that's what they are called) shirts. I got me the Minnie Mouse one, Amanda the Eeoyre and Alyssa the Thumper one. Last weekend I got Paul the Mickey one...now we will all have something Polynesian themed to wear to our Ohana dinner!!

While we were at the mall we got Alyssa's ears pierced at Libby Lu...it was just a spur of the moment kind of thing so we are waiting for DH & Amanda to get home to see her. Amanda got hers done a week after she turned 4 so Alyssa and I thought it was time to get hers done. She was such a big gir...she didn't cry at all!! I'll try to post a picture of her later toinght.

When you are at Disney, what time do you all get up in the morning? Do you have a hard time or easy time getting everybody up and out of the room?
I can't tell you what we usually do as this is the first time as a family of 5 that we are going for a full week. The last time we went for a full week was back in 2003 and the boys were 2 & 4. So, we plan on waking up early for some of the days and sleeping in the others. Certain days we need to get there early (ie, Donald's at AK we have an ADR at 8 am). We'll just have to see...

Smart people! I guess I am a hypocrit though. Even though we own stock in Pepsico products, I still buy Coca Cola. I think Pepsi is way too sweet also, and even in the diet!

Dana is simply lovely! I love the family photo of you all too. And I like your dress Renee!

Wow- those are great pictures Renee... She's such a little lady!

Mandy- I'll give you all the Josh Turner scoop when I get home tonight. I'm home now-- we came home to shower up after we spent a couple of hours in the lovely "community" water in the park! Then we're headed back out around 5:45 .... I can't wait!

Sounds like everyone's having busy days today!

Sounds good to me Court. I have to go tonight and do another night of volunteer auction. Get this last night we had 2 tickets for 4 days at the CMT Fest in Nashville, 220 value and went for 100. I mean come on, those are worth so much more.

Here's some pics from the water park--- Note--- this is me with NO makeup--- Can you say SCARY?????? :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Renee... Dana looks lovely. she looks like a princess.princess: . Daniel also had his 8th grade dinner dance last night... I will try and post a photo... its definately not as much fun to dress up a boy as it is a girl... Maggie took forever to out grow the childrens section... probably mid 9th grade before she started looking her age... then this past year (around age 16-17) she "grew up"... she is still small - just over 5 ft... and a size 4

We are up by 6:30 - 7 am - and a ready and at the parks at rope drop... we follow TGM plans and they have never failed us... it makes touring soooooooo much easier!!!

Courtney - you look great!!! Oh to be young and thin.... okay so I was never thin.... but I was young once....a long time ago.....
