Haley had a band field trip yesterday to Carowinds, in Charolette,NC. So we talked Hubby and his two cousins and the one cousins girlfriend into going with us to the theme park. Was fun. Line waits were 35 mins to 2hrs long. we run about 4 rides from 11am to 3pm. We left at 4pm after I found Haley's teacher. When we got home we had a Anniversary party for the cousins parents. They have been married for 35 yrs. And they still act like they are on their honeymoon.Just kidding . They act like two kids. They love to joke and play and have a good time. Hubby's unlce is a prankster. He got me good a few years back. Asked me to put my hand in his pocket and get out what he had in his pocket. I was a little lery but stuck my hand in there and pulled out.......... Two walnuts. He says Maggie quit playing with my nuts. I turned beet red.


Hope everyone has a great day and week. I will be back on next saturday. Mom is coming in today and Hubby's cousins are leaving today, his Uncle and Aunt are leaving Mon or Tues.

I literally burst out laughing at that one! I'll have to tell it to my bro as that is something that he would do to someone. I'd tell you something he did to me once but it is a little too crude for this thread, but it was funny.

I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope your DD & DH don't get it. I had something like that Thursday afternoon/night. I took one of my employees out to lunch to Longhorn Steakhouse and around 4:30 I got sick. It lasted most of the evening but by Friday morning I was fine. It's better for us to get this over with now...maybe we won't be sick on our trips!!!

I'm glad you're starting to feel better Brittany. Think of it as better to be sick now, than 19 days from now...

I'm worried here. Conjunctivitis has been going around the boys school pretty bad. In fact, one little boy in Alec's class and whom Alec sits with on the bus had it. Please, if they get it let it be now! They had it once at the end of our Ocean City, MD, vacation and we left a day early. Oh it was awful but at least our doctors' office called in an Rx for them w/o being seen.

Thanks guys! And you are right, It's definitely better to get any sickness out of the way now!

DM, I got a note home Thursday that there have been many cases of conjunctivitis and strep in Antonia's school. Yikes! Get it now and get it over with!

He sounds just like my dad. He's a funny guy, always making perverted jokes to everyone. I must say not everyone appreciates his humor, though!

I am making some special ones up for all you "special" people. Then I will have some ordinary ones to hand out too. I just need to know if I need to make yet another trip to Home Depot....

I'm going to make up some LGMHs. I picked up a pile a few weeks ago, but I have to go back for more. I went to Office Depot today and got some markers and laminating paper - I'm goin' all out baby!

I still haven't got mine done yet. I've got no time. I'm going tomorrow though and seeing Knocked Up. So excited.

I'm jealous. I really want to see that movie but I have no one to see it with! Guess I'll be waiting for it to come out on DVD.

SiningMom- loved your pictures. Dana looks like her father. I have been there with the clothes. I'm 4'11" and I weighed only 85lbs when I was Dana's age and was wearing a size 10 in the girls department. Don't worry about it she will fill out and be glad that you can still shop in the girls department. Haley is wearing a size 14 in girls or jr's 0 depending on the name brand she is 13 also.

Yes - she looks JUST like my husband - and she is definitely "Daddy's Little Girl"! Only thing she has of me is my eye color - and distinct parts of my "personality"! We just had a "pre-Disney" shopping spree at Gap this morning after church... she was able to buy some tops that were XS, but when she tried on a size "1" pair of shorts, we burst out laughing in the dressing room! She comes out and says to Bob, "I looked like one of those commercials where they lost weight and show their "before" pants!"

I may not laminate mine. I have made out some real cute ones (different than what I posted before) and they are pretty sturdy. If I get to an office supply place to get stuff to laminate them, then I will. If not, oh well...

I just got back from WalMart where I bought a new digital camera, because I've been wanting one of the cute little credit card sized ones. Well I found one for $50 on clearance because they had an additional 50% off clearance cameras. Sadly though, I have been playing around with it and I am not at all impressed with the picture quality, so I may have to take it back and upgrade. I so wanted to love it for the size and price, but I also need decent pictures.

I would definitely invest in a higher pixel camera. I'm lucky as my parents bought me my digital camera for Christmas. It is wonderful but cost over $300.

Is that Santa in a picture to the right of your purse (which I do like a lot BTW).

Laura - I love my Nikon Cool Pix... my pixels is a 5 - but they have a 7 now that is thinner and takes fantastic photos... I will probably wait a bit and then pass this one to Dana and get the new one.
