Good Morning everyone. I had a busy weekend. My garage sale went pretty good. I made over $300 so now I have some spending money for Disney. I had to do the walk-through for our house yesterday. The closing is Thursday!!!! I have a lot of packing to do because we are actually leaving for Florida on June 5th. My oldest son had to go to the dentist yesterday. They ended up having to pull his tooth. Then we had baseball games last night. My oldest son lost his game so he his done. My 8 year old son won his game, so he gets to go to the championship game tonight. He did so well last night. He got the game ball!!! I was so proud of him.

Has anyone tried using the Visa gift cards at Disney? I got one for Mother's Day, and I was wondering if they can be used at Disney...like at shops, restaurants, carts...etc

Good morning, DM! I made some very important trip purchases last night at Sam's... Krispy Treats and Sweet N Salty bars! Can't wait to get on vacation so I can eat snacks without guilt!! I have been getting together all the "stuff" I don't want to forget... light junk for the kids, fans, sunscreen, extra batteries, etc... The hardest part is keeping hidden from the kids, or they will have it all out and totally played with!

What is everyone planning for Memorial Day weekend? I am thinking of either taking the kids camping in the mountains (if I can get a friend to go with me) or going to the beach for the day. I am leaning towards the beach, as it may be the only chance we have this summer to go. Wynn will be leaving Fri AM to go to the Indy 500 with his buddies.

Nice pictures!! We plan on doing a garage sale in a couple of weeks. Congrats on doing so well on yours. We also have a Visa gift card and I looked on the website and it does say that it is accepted wherever Visa is accepted.

We plan on packing a whole suitcase with munchies and stuff that will be used and thrown away in Disney so we have an empty suitcase for all our souvenirs afterward. We have nothing planned for Memorial Day weekend. The kids have this Friday and Monday off but Rob has to work even on Saturday. It is a busy time for his sales and we need the money.

For Memorial Day we are dog sitting for a friend and Mick is cleaning out the garage and I will prepare for our garage sale June 8-9. I'm hoping to get rid of a lot of junk that's in my house. I will even give it away if I have to. I do not want it back in my house!

Wendy.. that is exactly how I felt. I didn't want any of the "junk" back in my house. At the end, I was telling people that if they wanted something to just name a price and they could have it. What didn't sell went to Goodwill.

As far as Memorial Day... My kids only have Monday off. My sister is graduating from High School June 1, so my sister and her kids who are from Indiana are coming in. I want to have a cook-out with everybody.

We don't have any plans for Saturday or Sunday, but we're going to a party at my parents' house on Monday. Hopefully it'll be warm 'cause they're gonna have the pool open!

We leave for Dallas on Thursday--- In laws live there and we only get to see them a few times a year... I'm so excited! We have our annual crawish boil there on Saturday... It's such a blast--- I'm just not looking forward to the 7+ hour drive!
