Kari - Every year there is a rumor about year-round school here but so far they haven't done it...there is 1 school in our county that has done it for about 12 years now and that community loves it...I'm glad they haven't done it here yet!

SM - Dana looks so cute in her Roaring 20's outfit & the project looks great...I'm sure she will get a wonderful grade on it!!

I have Merrell "Gardena Thong" in "Citron Beige" and I have Adidas "Fit Foam" flip flops in hot pink/white...

Ah, another one of my recent shoe purchases was a pair of gardena thongs. Have you ever worn them to do a lot of walking? They seem comfortable...

I bought some Body Glide also. I bought it at Eastern Mountain Sports. It is basically something that you "glide" on any area that may be rubbing. This includes feet, inner thighs (good for me!), etc. It looks like a stick deoderant and rubs on nicely - not greasy. It costs about $8.

DM - Have you used the bodyglide yet? I ordered mine online from REI and it just came yesterday. I'm really hoping it'll work for preventing blisters!

Dana's "Roaring 20's" presentation was a hit - she even taught the class how to "Charleston"... umm.. well she ATTEMPTED to... she's got two left feet! lol

Dana looks so great! And boy is she brave for attempting to Charleston in front of her class! I would've never had the nerve to do that.

I'm not a big fan of Pooh and the gang, but I recommend Crystal Palace just based on the food! It is YUMMY and I'm sure your kids would enjoy the Pooh characters!

To answer some questions--- We close on June 6. Yes, I have pictures... It's online but the pictures posted are HORRIBLE. So, I'm going on Friday. And I'm going to take pictures and I'll post them. Please please pray for us. I really hope and pray that everything works out... I won't be at ease until we've closed and the keys are in hand!

tnmomof4--- It is very stressful!!!! Especially when you're trying to time the sale of yours with the purchasing of a new one. I really hope it works out for you too!

SingingMom--- Yes!!!! Maddie will get her own back yard, fence and all!!! We took her there yesterday afternoon just to look through the windows and in the back yard.... Well, to say the least, she um, "made her self at home" in the backyard-- potty #2--- I'm like, "Okay, Maddie... It's not technically yours yet!"

And Dana is the cutest thing!!!! I love that she has on tap shoes!!! She looks so cute!!!

DM--- Awesome about the Visa card. Ryan gets those sometimes but they are to wal-mart... It's for safety too.

DM-- LOVE the beautiful picture of you and little B... That is the prettiest picture of both of you!!!! Definately a framer!!!! I really love your hair!

Courtney - I'll say an extra prayer that all goes smoothly. It's an exciting time - but extremely stressful! Glad to hear Maddie felt right at home! We closed on this house (10 years this August) and then went on a 10 day vacation - already planned! Ended up closing on Dana's 4th birthday! What a birthday present! Hard to top that one!

Dana and her "tap shoes".... she had signed up to take a tap class at the county college last summer - neat program "College for Kids" - lots of academic and arts classes available - she took "Broadway Bound" and "History of Theatre", among others (2 week session - 2 hours each class - ate lunch everyday in the college cafeteria - it was a great experience) However, last minute, they cancelled the tap class and she was devasted. "But MOM, I've already got the SHOES!" She really can't dance, so was hoping this "intro" class might help!

At least she got to WEAR THE SHOES for her presentation!

I need an opinion or an intervention...just how many lime green mickey heads do I need? I counted the ones that I have at work and I have around 25 lime ones and 7 each of red, white & black. Do I need to stop or keep going? What in the world am I going to do with all of them? I have 1 backpack, 1 stroller & the window at Pop is only so big! Please help!!

We are eating at Sci-Fi on the 26th too, but in the afternoon. We will be at MK on the 29th, and we are eating at the Crystal Palace in the morning. The buffet is really good, and the kids love the Pooh characters. We are also eating at Chef Mickeys in the evening.

LizA-- I would suggest making some mickey heads out of paper. You can cut them out, then laminate them (no machine needed, you can just buy paper that laminats them)... Make them really big and use those ones for your door. That way you won't need so many little ones.... And you can decorate the big ones any way you want!

dm- you look great with and without makeup and hair fixed are not.that is a nice pic of you and your dd. I too am the one taking the pictures on all of our vactions and there are a few of me, because the kids are getting handing at taking pictures now and have their own cameras.

I haven't actually used it yet but have rubbed it on to test the feel for it. I was afraid it would feel greasy if I place it on my inner thighs. But it is really nice. How much did you pay online from REI for it? We got it at EMS for only $8.

Looking forward to more photos of your new home! I was psyched about the visa gift card Rob won and glad it works "wherever visa is accepted". I was worried when it had the indentation of "Great Northern Mall" on it but I went to the website and found that we could use it anywhere. Great for our trip. Thank you for your kinds words on the pic of Brooke & I - and it was taken on only the 2nd try (she closed her eyes the first time).

I do have makeup on here, just not as much as when I go to a big social event. I always wear light foundation with sunscreen (but you can still see my freckles), blush, waterproof mascara, and eyeliner. Oh, that sounds like a lot, doesn't it, but it is all very light.
