<font color=navy>This weekend, a wonderful group of DISers got together at the original Magic Kingdom for the 2nd official Best Coast Meet.
I will post a report with pictures later, but I wanted to get these up first. You'd be proud of our fellow DISers and how they were able to work their way into the Parade of Stars at Disneyland.
We met at 10:00 in between the two parks, at the star, and there Poopie gave us our Best Coast Meet red t-shirts. We then immediately took a pic.
Sitting down you have Hookedup (CJ) and her son, then David & Celia (RobinB's family), and BobBrazeal. Standing up you have Mary Jo, Poopie directly behind, Mickeyfan1 (with Mickey in front), Sam & Brian (Barb's son & gf), RobinB, Jeanette (Dalepool's sis), DumboOrBust, Pinkie (DumboOrBust's dh), Barb (for real), Floydian's family, and Floydian
THE PARADE
At Disneyland, there is a Parade called Parade of the Stars, and guests can participate. An omnibus goes around, and cast members, dressed in blue/white overalls, ask guests to participate, orrrrr, as in our case, guests work the CMs and get into the parade
You can see our own Hookedup in the first seat on the top deck of the omnibus. She was already there when we got there.
And, as Pinkie & I sat, we saw Hookedup come along, dancing with the hippoes. You can't miss her - she's the one with the huge, beautiful smile in the bright red shirt.
Soon we saw the rest of the DISers, and they were dancing with Baloo and King Louie.
We were able to enjoy their ballet arms, high kicks, low kicks, and even their pirouettes (Bob was particularly graceful)
Poopie and DumboOrBust give Pinkie and me a special wave while the rest of the DISers go on with the show.
I think Tink33 could show the CM what a real high kick looks like.
